Posted on Sun Mar 1st, 2020 @ 5:44pm by Division Admiral Maraad Skyshatter & Senior Chief Warrant Officer Se'yal Stormsong

Mission: Mission 34: Between Two Fires
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 1215Hrs - June 25th, 2391

Chief Petty Officer Se'yal Stormsong walked into the lounge, she was simply after a quick lunch as she had paperwork to do for Doctor Yamaguchi as she knew that Celeste would be bogged down with it and since Se'yal herself enjoyed paperwork more then then human woman did, she opted to do it for her.

What she got was a whole different surprise in itself as she found herself facing a massive Dranaei male who was looking at her with a smile. "Well hello, I didn't know that there were other Draenei other then Luhanna and Telios Wintersnow.." he introduced himself. "I'm Maraad Skyshatter. One of the security officers off of the Roanoke."

"Wait... you're thee Maraad Skyshatter.." Se'yal responded quietly. "I have heard of you."

"It seems that most Draenei have.." he responded in a dry tone. "Its something of an irritant to
be remembered for a battle that did not need to be fought."

"I won't argue with you." Se'yal responded quietly. "I have my own opinions on the Al'keshian's... and our relations with them over the centuries and frankly that asskicking you gave them was long overdue."

Maraad sighed softly. "Were you there Se'yal?" he inquired of her, the small shake of her head was the confirmation that he needed. "War is truly a horrible thing, now while they brought the war... I ended it by destroying their entire fleet." he explained. "I did not need to but I chose to let them know that we would not tolerate their aggression by killing over forty thousand people, most of them who were simply doing what they were told."

"But... the stories.."

"Are just that.... stories.." Maraad responded quietly. "How old are you Se'yal?"

"I'm forty five years old." the female with the golden eyes responded with a smile. "What... not old enough?"

"I am two centuries old." Maraad regarded her.

"You did end that war before it got started." Se'yal responded. "You saved lives."

"That, my dear... is a matter for debate"

"Maraad. you ended that war..."

"That is also a matter for debate." he responded in a dry tone.

Se'yal regarded Maraad. "You're making fun of me.."

"No." Maraad responded. "I am merely saying that what I did was one way of doing it. others would have found other solutions.." he responded before moving over to the replicator. "Its why I enlisted in Starfleet after I left the service of our people.... word of Starfleet has reached even our people... "

Se'yal nodded her head, the light glinting off of her tapered horns. "Yes it has, I decided I wanted to see the galaxy so who better to do it with then the Federation... Nobody within ten thousand light tears has a culture like this one.."

"Luhanna Wintersnow said something very similar before." Maraad commented. "She was right."

"Its seldom I encounter a male Draenei..." Se'yal admitted. "Can we stay in touch.?"

"Sure... so long as you don't worship me like a lot of others do." Maraad responded. "OI hate the hero worship I get from other Draenei... I do not deserve it..."

"Fair enough.." Se'yal responded as she regarded him. "I think I'm going to like working with you."

"So long as you don't think I'm the greatest thing since the wheel, we will be able to co-exist, do it not then we will have issues.."

"Fair enough, I have no issues with that."

"Good..." Maraad responded. "You feel like eating... ?"

"I did want a short lunch.... I'm sure Doctor Yamaguchi will understand." she paused. "Sure, lets eat."
