It was two hours later as Celeste Yamaguchi had outlined the assignments for her people and then she had set them off to work for her on this assignment that Commander Nesbis had assigned to her, she went over to the wall monitor as she tapped it once before she tapped her combadge .

"Bridge, Sickbay again... Would you mind contacting the USS Stalingrad for me, I need to talk to her Captain, also mark it as personal."

"Willdo Celeste. patching you're call through now." Karass responded, clearly he was smiling, at what, Celeste had no idea as her older sister appeared, wearing her uniform, a look of concern on her face. "Celeste, whats wrong?" as Marie stood up from behind the desk in her ready room.

"I needed to hear you're voice.... can you talk?" Celeste admitted quietly. "I'm having a rough day.."

Marie regarded her sibling, in truth the two women were so alike that they were almost twins but they were three years apart but Marie was shorter and smaller then her younger sister. "Who needs to die?"

"Well.. nobody... I've been asked to help with the long term survival of a species.... and I'm wondering if I'm up to the task"

"Ahh." Marie regarded her sister, a warm smile appearing on her face. "You crave challenges, this will be the one that solidifies you as a legend." she explained. "But you're more then up for it.. I've seen your skill list, Whoever asked you for this wouldn't have done so if they didn't think you capable Celeste..." Marie smiled. "You can do this..!"

"Yeah... right... I already called in my guys and put them all to work." Celeste responded. "Now I just need to do some research of my own..."

Marie sighed softly as she sat back down in her chair. "Okay... so no boyfriend issues then..?"

"No... Its more girlfriend actually.." Celeste explained. "Her name is Brianna Hobbs, she's a-"

"Not Gunnery Sergeant Brianna Hobbs... from the Shadow?"

"You know her?"

"Not directly," Marie admitted. "But... I have heard of her from others.... you actually netted her?"

"It's more appropriate to say we netted each other.." Celeste paused. "I didn't see that one coming."

"I'll bet.." Marie responded cheerfully. "Hows Pasha and Pava doing these days?"

"Pava is looking at the Marines as a career whereas Pasha spends more time in the medical labs then I do, he's chasing a medical career. I've been encouraging them both as best as I can but.."

"But they'll be leaving soon for the academy.." Marie responded. "and you'll be alone again... you like having children and teenagers around... admit it, Celeste, you do..."

"Yes.." Celeste allowed. "I do." she paused. "I..." she stopped

Marie regarded her sibling, a compassionate look on her face. "You're falling for her... aren't you?"

Celeste looked down as she slowly nodded. "Yes... Nobody in the family is big on gay or lesbian relationships... and I-"

"Celeste..." Marie responded to stop her younger sibling from rambling. "Does she make you happy..?"

"Yes... almost beyond words.."

"Then I'm happy for you. So long as she makes you happy..." Marie responded. "You have to find your own path honey, I can't decide it for you... neither can mom, Dad or anyone else... its up to you and if Brianna Hobbs is the one for you.... then I will be happy for you."

"Thank you Marie... I thought that you would frown on it."

"That's not my place Celeste... you know this... and you netted a Marine Gunny, you could do far worse."

"She's actually the ships Chief of the Boat with the rank of Sergeant Major now." Celeste smiled. "She's also getting along with Pava and Pasha though I wonder who's more intimidated by whom." she added. "Pava could be in our forge, making a sword and Bri won't go in there while my girl is working."

"Pava and Pasha still work on their weapons, Pasha just finished making Andurial, the flame of the west while Pava is putting the last touches on a set of Elvin short blades."

"The kind that Legolas wore?" Marie inquired with a smile.

"Yep. You know how Pava is.." Celeste responded. "When the boys on the ship aren't lusting after her of course."

"I do indeed. I should come visit you guys at some point." Marie responded with a smile.

"Bring your husband and kids... we have a rather... unusual crew on this ship, It'll be great to see you guys."

"Do they hate Cardassian's?" Marie inquired bluntly.

"Captain Zuko doesn't mind them." Celeste responded. "He treats them the same as he treats everyone else, fairly, Karass had his brain broken the very first day when Zuko stuck it to him." Celeste's smile widened into a grin.

Marie blinked. "Karass, that's an odd name. Is that like a call-sign or something?"

"Commander Daniel McKnight, He introduces himself as Karass, Its the same with his brother, Stephen McKnight who introduces himself as Orthos. I have no idea why... I regard it as one of life's little mysteries.."

Marie raised an eyebrow as she took a sip of her drink. "Sounds like it..." she paused. "So.... you gonna be alright?"

"I will.... once I figure out my next move with this medical issue... and with Brianna Hobbs."

"Alright... mind if I offer my perspective?"

Celeste smiled. "By all means.."

"Don't rush headlong into it, let it develop over time... Don't go after it, let it come to you. It was slow between Horus and I.... I almost didn't even see it developing until he asked me out to dinner one night and he told me how he felt, blunt and direct... Which I preferred.... Now I have six kids with him.." Marie shrugged. "I did okay."

"You have your own ship too... but yes... I'll let it develop... and age slowly."

"Good... and Celeste?"

"Yeah?"

"Stop being so obstinate on the subject... You don't need to prove you can be strong every moment of every day.... some people are like blades, some rust, some turn to iron and some are like glass." she explained. "Be gentle when the time comes... " Marie smiled at her sibling. "You will know when that time comes.. and in any case, I need to go home and see to the kids... " she sighed. "Yamaguchi out." and with that the screen in Celeste's office went black as the words 'communications terminated' appeared in bold medium blue script as Celeste went back to her desk

Sitting down, she picked up the PADD and made herself comfortable as she began to read.
