Robby Sullivan was very dour upon realizing his Air Group commander was no other than his estranged sister. The Top Gun of the fleet. His nemesis of a sort.

As he climbed up the ladder to the top deck of the pod, he made deliberate slow strides to prolong his need to report in. Up to this point, the Rowling Airway had been his to command. Now he had a new CO to command the Airway.

After composing himself at Phoenix's office door, he knocked twice.

"In," came her southern-like twang.

"Major Robert Sullivan reporting in as ordered," Robby opened as he stood to attention.

"You know I don' like that protocol bullshit, Robby." Phoenix sighed with slight annoyance and then came around her sparse desk to hug him.

Robby immediately backed away, only to present a PADD to his sister. "You have a full list of my birds and which ones are currently in maintenance mode. The second page are the pilots and their stats."

"You're still mad at me?" Phoenix asked incredulously.

"Will that be all, Ma'am?" Robby very pointedly pushed over the question.

"Don' ya think you've put us through this long enough?" Phoenix asked him with hurt, blue eyes.

"Ship CO tells me to report to you, so I do." There was much resentment in Robby's eyes. "I'm your pilot and your newest Wing CO. That's it."

"You can' keep this goin' Robby," Phoenix spoke with concern. "Government forgave us."

"Us." Robby repeated that word with loathing. "You still view yourself as Maquis. A terrorist organization that killed hundreds of people in four bombings."

"All ta kill high ranking Cardassian officers," Phoenix reminded him coolly. "Aint no such thin' as a clean war, Robby."

"You aint family anymore Jill," Robby reminded her. "You're a terrorist that still wants to kill, and doesn't care who gets in the way to do it."

There was a long pause of silence between the two. One which Robby finally saluted. "Will that be all, Ma'am?"

Phoenix nodded, waved him off, and watched him smack the side of his pants on the way down from his salute. Then he turned about and headed out the door. His words cut her deep, mostly because a few years prior, they would have applied.

Had one seen the blow that was coming to his jaw, they would have been impressed, the door opened right before the punch landed on his chin, sending him sprawling.

"Come here, you little bastard!" an enraged Elizabeth Yamaguchi reached in as she hauled him back to her before she headbutted him, then she spun him around before she sent him sprawling down the hallway. She hooked his foot at the last second as he went down on his face. "Nobody hits kin of mine....." she growled. "you wanna piece of me!" she hissed, truly enraged as she made a move to go after him but she stopped herself at the last second.

Elizabeth watched in silence as he took off running and crashed into a bulkhead moments later, knocking himself out, it was about that point when the adrenaline began to leave her as she started shaking.. "I heard... I heard... him... I heard him hit you..." Elizabeth got out as she regarded the smaller woman. "I should... check you out... make sure there are no lasting effects..." Elizabeth asked.

"Umm..." Phoenix raised her eyebrows in confusion. "He didn' hit me."

Elizabeth paused. "But I heard... I heard.." she stopped. "I heard him hit you.."

"He saluted me and I dismissed him," Phoenix answered with a bit of confusion still. "Smacked his pants on his turnabout out tha door... An' I didn' think you an' I were family."

Elizabeth regarded the other woman, also in a state of confusion. "Oh.... may I check you over.... I have to be sure.." she paused. "You and I are kin.. You gave my siblings life... that makes us kin... but what I did to you was wrong... I violated you..." Elizabeth looked away as she bent over to retrieve her medkit which she had left on the floor.

When Elizabeth rose up, Phoenix hugged her. As if letting her know she understood something on a level very few others could. "Ya meant well... An' if you hadn' done it, I'd not of know tha blessing those twins are."

Elizabeth gently hugged her back. "The twins are a blessing... mention your name and they instantly become happy... Even Dad has mentioned it..." she paused. "I hope my children are fortunate to know you.." she admitted.

"You'll be a good mom," Phoenix pointed out with a small smile.

Elizabeth smiled warmly at the other woman. "So are you..." she responded. "I've seen you with the twins...and... I like it... It shows a side that few get to see..."

"Siaxx an' I are thinkin' 'bout havin' kids now of our own, cause of those two miracles," Phoenix finally revealed as she walked back into her office and sat down in her chair. "Might even ask my betrothed to decorate in here."

Elizabeth gently slipped her massive frame into a chair, clearly grateful that they were there. "Thats fantastic news!, you guys will make great parents." she smiled. "But...I wanted to tell you... without causing trouble... that I'm worried about Siaxx... " she paused. "She's been dealing with more bar fights and stupid stuff recently... and I think its getting to her..." she paused. "She's been getting more owly about things recently.. but... you didn't hear that from me.. okay?"

"I gotta teach 'er ta delegate," Phoenix agreed.

Meanwhile, the turbolift doors opened and out stepped Siaxx. What she didn't know was that when one mentioned the name, the beast came running. As she moved down the hallway, she found the prone form of Captain Robbie Sullivan, lying on the deck. There was blood splattered everywhere as she laughed. "Ahh.. Captain Sullivan, my day is now complete... such an epic fail.." she laughed at his expense before calling it in and having him beamed to sickbay.

She decided the blood splattered on the bulkheads however was an improvement so she decided to leave it alone, she rounded the corner and skidded to a halt, finding Phoneix and Elizabeth Yamaguchi, deep in an animated conversation.

Siaxx blinked. "What on Bolarus?"

"Looks like you need a good fuck. My Dear," Phoenix opened with a smile.

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "Hello Siaxx..." she commented.

Siaxx paused as she entered the office. "I'm curious... How does one delegate.... I want out of medical... but I haven't used my leadership skills in almost fifteen years...."

Phoenix sighed, for she knew they would not have a romp anytime soon. "I'll teach ya ta delegate, but then you an' I get ta fuck like crazy. Deal?"

Elizabeth raised both eyebrows as much of this was news to her. "Siaxx... seriously?"

"I do... yes." the small Bolian sighed softly. "I hate medicine...dealing with all these shitheads.... on this motherfucking stinking shitpile... I HATE THIS SHIP!" Siaxx's temper finally fused white hot as Elizabeth gently wrapped her arms around the smaller woman in a hug. "Hey.... it'll be okay..." she soothed. "We know you hate it..."

"You don' hate medicine... You hate bein' tha one the idiots see all tha time to fix their stupid bruises," Phoenix pointed out all sagely.

Elizabeth gently pulled Siaxx onto her lap. "Siaxx... Let me handle them. I need the experience and the hours... both will do me the world of good. You need to delegate to me... and the other lackeys..I mean Doctors and Nurses you have... half of them are slow because you never do anything with them... no drills, no nothing... you want these guys to improve then you need to be the one to stick it to them."

Siaxx regarded the larger woman who's lap she was presently sitting on. "Beth...you'll make a hell of a medical officer.."

"It would be nice... if you did something about it.." Elizabeth explained. "You're not helping your case... so think on it before, while and after you and Phoenix here are having your fun time..." before Elizabeth gently picked up Siaxx as she was much more massive and much stronger, she then placed the Bolian onto the desk before her. "Siaxx. you are too hard on yourself... as long as I've known you...you try too hard... let us handle shit.."

Phoenix hugged Siaxx and kissed her on the cheek. "You got the command trianin' Dear. Now ya just gotta learn ta use it with your department."

Siaxx nodded her head as a sigh escaped her lips. "How do you do it with your guys....?"

"Know which folks that work best with each other an' pair 'em together when I can," Phoenix answered simply. "CAP is 'bout teamwork."

Siaxx nodded. "I can apply that to the staff in sickbay.."

"An' as CMO, you work tha cases you wanna work. No more or less," Phoenix amended.

Siaxx paused before she turned to Elizabeth. "You are going to be my permanent aide until further notice, you get certified or I die of insanity, whichever comes first, you'll handle anything I don't want to handle.. you okay with that?"

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "So I won't be standing around anymore, bored to tears.... sounds great, I win either way.... and so do you." she paused. "May I speak my thoughts?"

"Sure," Phoenix nodded.

Elizabeth nodded. "Siaxx... I'm going to be honest and blunt with you. Ten minutes before the end of your shift. Go into your office and get the notes from this shift to give it to the Leader of the next shift. Do a pre-shift meeting before the start of each shift... no exceptions. I saw it done on Tranquility and it'll help focus your guy's attention to where it needs to go... Your Chief Nurse has an anger management problem and his predecessor is insane. Sokanon is a loose cannon and is way too aggressive and Mudphit and Koslazi are both worthless, they spend more time fighting each other then anything else." Elizabeth paused. "The only saving graces you have are Nalla who spends all her time bottled up in her lab and Galiaan Fordring. I don't mention Windspirit because she's happy where she is..."

Siaxx regarded Elizabeth. "I'd like to hear your recommendations on what you would do... if you were in my shoes."

Elizabeth regarded Phoenix a moment. "I have some ideas.... on what I would do with these guys but... and I do not wish to cause more problems for you to resolve." she paused. "Make Gailiaan shift leader for third shift, same with Sokanon for your second shift, Toshnarr for afternoons with Iteela for overnights. Her behavior recently has been excellent. She's gone out of her way to improve where some have not."

"Since when did you take interest in runnin' stuff," Phoenix half-teased.

Elizabeth looked over at Phoenix. "Its because I'm standing around, either stocking shelves or doing nothing.. my days pass slowly, most of them being bored.."

"One problem though... Genius Super Geek that we keep in tha lab," Phoenix fielded to the room.

Elizabeth regarded Phoenix. "That won't be a problem..." as a smile appeared on her face. "She's my study fellow."
