Mission: Mission 23: Foundations of Stone
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1030Hrs - January 22nd, 2391

Teval walked onto the bridge, feeling rather nauseated. Giving a slight stumble out of the airlock, he walked slowly over to Torilla, who was sitting in the captain's chair. Zara wasn't around. "Hey Torilla," He said groggily, as he took a seat on one of the chair's.

Torilla regarded Teval. "Come here." and with that she gently pulled him onto her lap. "What the hell happened to you?" she inquired.

Teval shrugged, "I'm not really sure, I have just been feeling like crap over the past few days."

"You eating properly?" she inquired. "sleeping right?"

Teval shook his head, "Haven't had much of an appetite. Sleeping hasn't been an issue but I did throw up once for no reason."

"Mmm... you wanna head on down to sickbay?" she inquired.

"You all right?" Zara asked as she noticed Teval's look, after she came out of her ready room.

Teval shook his head," not really sure. Though so far it hasn't been too serious."

Before anyone else could say anything, Alyssa McKinley announced, "Hey we are getting an incoming hail."

Torilla gently set down Teval before standing up. "Stick it on the screen.."

"the viewscreen turned on, but it was completely black, and then a raspy voice said, "Is this the roanoke, the ship where chymler was on."

"Yes..." Torilla bit out as she tried valiantly to hold onto her temper. "this is indeed... USS Roanoke... who are you?"

the sounds of a party could be heard in the background, the voice answered, "his ex wife, is he really dead."

Teval, noticing Torilla's anger, responded in a not very sincere voice, "Yeah, unfortunately, he is dead."

Someone cheering in the background could be heard, then the voice said, "Oh, that's great news that the bastard is dead, fuckin child molester deserved it. When can I collect his insurance money."

Torilla Yamaguchi's mind broke as she blinked. "Umm... umm..." she paused as she looked at Teval, she clearly wanted him to help her as she opened and closed her mouth a few times.

Teval looked back at Torilla, completely unable to say anything, when Kima commented,' What the fuck.'

"Thirty days is the standard time," Zara whispered from her ready room door.

Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow as she suddenly caught the reference to 'child molester.' She regarded Gonad's beau on the screen. "The guys are still processing the claim... But... since you mentioned it, would you mind explaining exactly what you meant by... child molester?"

A short pause occurred, then she said," Oh, yeah, the jackass was charged with attempted rape on a thirteen-year-old child, only the investigators where incompetent and screwed up on collecting the evidence, so the conviction got thrown out."

Yamaguchi heard what was being said then she automatically saw Rachael as the thirteen-year-old before she saw red. "Oh..." she paused. "Well... is there anything else you need?" she tried valiantly to hold onto her temper but she knew she was going to fail as she hauled herself to her feet.

It was then that Alyssa McKinley noticed that the comm channel was unauthorized to contact the Roanoke, so she asked," Um, yeah, whoever you are, technically, you are not authorized to contact this ship on that comm channel."

A loud banging sound could be heard, and an "Oh shit," and the comm channel died.

Yamaguchi turned her head as she clenched her fists at her sides. "I need to get out of here and go break something.... someone call me if the ship is under attack, the world is ending or we're attacked by a giant space squid.."

Teval just stared at the blank viewscreen, speechless by the event. he finally blurted out, "Well at least we now know that no one gave a fuck about this dude."

Yamaguchi smiled as she went over to the other woman, before giving her a big hug. "Thank you so much..."

Alyssa didn't really react much, just saying, "Um, sure, O.K."

Yamaguchi turned and walked off of the bridge, her rage seething at the thought of seeing a thirteen-year-old child being molested by Gonad. She was now glad he was dead and that she had killed him.

"So are all of Gonad's family idiots?" Zara asked with confused, blinking eyes.

Ensign Garry Smithson, standing at the tactical station turned his head as they all heard a loud scream, it was muffled but it came from the turbolift station. "What the hell was that?" he inquired before turning to answer the Captain's question. "Clearly... yes they are all kinds of stupid... Gonad was a worthless piece of space-shit.." he paused. "Sorry sir." he addressed Tane.

Teval brought his leg up on the chair and curled his long, fluffy tail around him," I don't think any of us are going to argue with you on that one."

Smithson paused. "Was that scream... the Commander?" he was referring to Torilla.

Teval, whom could hear it more clearly, replied," yeah it was."

Smithson cringed. "Sir... remind me to never, ever piss her off.." he shivered. "Uhh..."
