Mission: Mission 16: Hoist the Colours
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1900Hrs, December 11th, 2390

A few hours before the Squadron commander's test, 2nd wing was assembled in the main pilot briefing room, Wukari and her four Squadron commanders. 1st Squadron commander and 2nd wings XO, Lieutenant Katrina 'Wicked Witch' Brown. 2nd Squadron leader Marine Captain Josef 'Sideswipe' Tyrone. 3rd Squadron leader 1st Lieutenant Tasha 'Mirage' Benson. 4th Squadron leader, Lieutenant Kthaara 'Leadfoot' Talon. The rest of the wing was present as well. They of course, did not want to listen to Wukari, in particular, one of the flight leaders," Luiz 'Crosshairs' Morales, one of the best shots in the wing, was giving her problems.

"You deserve to be in a zoo little fox, not a pilot, how the hell can something like you fly" Crossairs commented viciously.

Wicked Witch went up him and smacked him across the face," Shut the fuck up loser, if you don't think she can fly, then why don't you take her on, or are you a chicken shit."

"Why should i listen to you, you just a crazy bitch," Crosshairs replied to wicked witch, but before she could hit him again, Wukari simply said," Stop, that's enough."

Wukari gave Crosshairs a stern look, "Get into the simulators' you and a buddy are taking me on, two on one."

Crosshairs gave her a surprised look, while she said," Whats the matter, too scared. That's when another one of the flight leaders, Lieutenant Junior Grade Zhao 'Hound' Chang, stood up and said to Wukari, "I'll do it, I'll take you on."

Wukari looked at Hound, and saw something different in his eyes. It wasn't the look of someone looking down upon her, It was a look of respect. She could tell, Hound wanted to prove Wukari was a good pilot, and she wasn't sure how to take it. Crosshairs spat at the floor and relied, "Fine I'll do it, but I'm gonna skin you little one."

Very shortly after the three of them where in the simulators, Wukari on one side, with Hound and Crosshairs on the other. The playing field, the upper atmosphere of a gas giant, with sensor distorting clouds everywhere. It was one of the more challenging maps available, and everyone was watching from the viewscreen in the briefing room.

Maneuvering carefully through the clouds, Wukari searched for her opponents, being sure to stay out of the denser clouds. After roughly a minute into the fight, several missiles flew out of the clouds, intent on taking Wukari out. Followed shortly by phaser bolts from Hound, Wukari made a series of sharp turns and evasions, she quickly dived into one of the clouds, breaking the sensor lock on the warheads. Hound dived in after her, barely able to keep a sensor lock on her.

Setting one of her missiles to move little faster than her own fighter, Wukari fired two of her own missiles, and she set the missiles to each make random turns. one made a 30 degree turn left, and another made a 60 degree turn up. Hound cursed as he saw three different sensor contacts, he knew the trick, but didn't know how to really counter, so he chased the contact that went up, figuring she would try and escape the clouds.Wukari smiled as she saw Hound chase the torpedo, and she then maneuvered the fighter down, doing a 360 degree downward loop, and ending up behind hound. He swore as he realized his mistake, but it was too late, as Wukari opened up with phaser fire, and knocked him out of the match.

Crosshairs, having finally found a sensor lock on Wukari, opened fire with precision accuracy, and she quickly began to evade. However it was close, her shields where almost completely drained from the attack, and Wukari began to continuously keep up evasion, with Crosshairs frustratingly unable to lock. He sent several missiles after her, but she simply went into the thickest part of the clods, and the missiles lost their lock, and so did he. Crosshairs hesitated briefly, unwilling to fully follow her in, when suddenly she popped back out, facing him, phasers and missiles blasting. Crosshairs swore, and he tried to respond, but his shields failed and the missiles connected, knocking him out of the match.

Shortly after the match, Crosshairs approached Wukari with Hound, and bowing his head, said, " I apologize for being an arrogant asshole, I have no excuse for my actions."

Wukari simply relied," It's fine, you are one of my better pilots, and I am going to need you to help me train the less capable pilots. You have skill, but your ego can get you into trouble, I suggest you remove it."

Without waiting for his reply, Wukari simply left. Shortly after Wicked witch dismissed the pilots, and plenty of chatter was going on. Some of the pilots had some new found respect for the 'Desert Fox', but others did not. One of them was David Hurd, and later approaching Crosshairs, said with a sneer, "You dumbass, you got your ass whupped by a house pet."

"Shut the fuck up cow Hurd, you cant even fly out of the hangar without crashing, you fucking retard," Crosshairs replied with firsts clenched.

Hurd's face went red," The fuck you call me Squid."

Crosshairs crossed his arms," Called you a fat cow Hurd, girly man."

Hurd spat on Crosshairs foot, "Fuck you you dumb Spick."

Crosshairs moved faster than lightning, Giving Hurd a strong punch in the face, then a kick to the knee's, and Hurd went down. Crosshairs began kicking him continuously in the stomach, his screams being heard by Boomer, whom was down the hallway.

He rounded the corned shortly after and found Hurd in a heap on the ground, moaning, but not seriously injured.

Boomer came over as he raised an eyebrow. "What going on here?"

Hurd simply moaned on the ground and didn't say anything.

Boomer nodded to . "Nice Hurd..... if I ever hear that you step out of line again... I will have you shot.. and I suspect a few of the guys will happily want to terminate you."
