Shadows of Night - Part One

Mission: Mission 8: Hope Found and then Lost
Location: Various Locations - USS Yorktown
Timeline: 1200Hrs - April 4th, 2389

Torilla Yamaguchi had been seated at Conn for several hours now
and while she was permitted to eat at her post, she sometimes
prefered not to do so as anything could happen at any time and
having a cup of coffee in hand as she was doing an evasive
manuvers could leave her burning limbs with the hot coffee.

“Commander you have the Bridge, I’ll be in Engineering for a
little bit.”

"Yessir." Yamaguchi rose to her feet as she watched K'Temoc
turned and left the bridge as she went over to the center chair
as Chief Branson took her place at the conn station.

Torilla always wore the pants on duty as she didn't need to worry
about her skirt riding up her legs and needing to adjust it.

She heard a soft booming sound which came thriugh the spaceframe
itself as she narrowed her eyes as she almost felt the psionic
scream. "Bridge to Engineering, status?"

Davis's voice came back. "Bridge, there has been an explosion on
deck two, section three, we're responding."

"Understood." she paused as she tapped the com again. "Yamaguchi
to Fives?"

"Fives here, go ahead Commander." came the expected response.

"Yopu're needed on Deck Two, Section Three."

Fives who was seated in the messhall, having a lunch break nodded
his head as he picked up his food and went over to the replicator.
"I'm on my way sir... Fives out." and with that he recycled his
food and then he grasped his toolkit as he dashed out the door.
