Mission: Mission 8: Hope Found and then Lost
Location: Various Locations - USS Yorktown
Timeline: 1030Hrs - April 1st, 2389

Lieutenant Siaxx Dvald sighed softly as she read over
the PADD she was holding in her hands as she decided
she was working to run a few drills of her own, mostly
simulated casulties from a errant torpedo exploding in
one of the launchers for whatever reason, most of the
casulties had been from blunt forced trauma wounds and
high impact wounds among lacerations.

She had been suprized at how her medics had handled
themselves when the half dozen or so holograms had
appeared as if they were real personel and her medics
would attempt to treat and triage them.

The tests weren't just limited to her medics, Siaxx was
being tested too as she glanced at the PADD. "Well guys...
not bad for an unnanounced drill... considering you lost
one and saved five.." Siaxx looked between them as she
knew that what had happened could be explained as being
unavoiable, one of the holograms had a piece of shrapnil
which had become dislodged and then it fell out of the
wound, leaving blood to pour forth as the paitent rapidly
expired due to shock and blood loss.

Siaxx had noted how realistic the test was, even the
copper tang of human blood was in the air. "Lets try the
drill one more time.... but not at the present time and
since you'll all be assigned here on a perminant basis,
your all part of a team and thus you need to work together
better."

The Bolian paused as one of the medics spoke up. "Umm...
who will be this ships Chief Medical Officer.?"

"That is for the Captain to decide.. I will make my
recomendation of course but its up to him." Siaxx explained.
"Don't worry.... you won't be dealing with me for any longer
then nessicary."

"Is that good or bad sir?" a young woman named Tatsuguchi Taeko
who wore the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class commented.

"I'll leave that for you to decide on your own Petty Officer
Tatsuguchi." Siaxx responded. "Now... lets go finish putting
away the inventory and I want that done before you all go off
watch." the Bolian explained.
