Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1000Hrs - September 29th, 2393

Torilla knew her husband's sense of humor was extremely energetic, he did not seem to take anything personally and he didn't let things bother him too much, it was nice to see his old sense of humor returning as Torilla was and still had concerns about her husband. Jake smiled as he activated the engines and they were off, heading towards home.

A few minutes later they arrived at their new home. Jake was the kind to put his garage out front and some of the living and most of his storage spaces below ground. "The neighbors seem to be a reasonable lot, they don't make too many issues for me, but then I am a flag officer and Heather Duval is our neighbor on one side," Jake explained. "You've never been here before... Have you?"

"Nope. This is my first time seeing this place... You've decided that this will be where we retire." Torilla commented, she did not care where she would spend her time wearing civilian clothing, so long as her husband was present.

"I hope so," Jake answered. "But then I personally like it here but... I am not you, you still need to have your say and I will not deny you," he commented. "If not then we can sell this place and live somewhere else."

"I appreciate that... So whats the accommodations like?" Torilla inquired.

"Standard late 24th century, nothing overly major. The garage is on the main level and is supported by some heavy-duty foundation and structural working in the building," he explained. "The living accommodation is on the other side of the house, we have an open floor plan main level with a living space, a large kitchen and a dining space for ten people, which can be expanded if needed. Honestly, we'll need it later." Jake explained. "We have six bedrooms on the upper floor with another six in the basement for twelve in all with all the amenities you'd expect. The first master bedroom was donated to the kits as they need large spaces, which is fine with me, they have their own bathroom and a large walk-in closet which they use for storage, they don't need clothing. two of the others are for the twins and a large bedroom for me, and now for you," he explained. "There are five bathrooms in all and all the rooms clean themselves so the kits and us won't need to spend an entire day doing housekeeping."

Torilla smiled. "Nice, so your pension is going to good use then?" she inquired with a gentle smile.

"It is... Mom donated her pension to it too. She plans to remain in the service for at least another fifty years." Jake explained. "She had a huge reserve with nothing to spend it on, so she gave it all to me."

"You getting tired of Starfleet?" Torilla asked gently, broaching this topic was unusual for her as Jake gave her an odd look. "You were the one who was getting sick of the service hon if you'll recall." as he gave her a pointed look.

"I know." Torilla agreed as she watched Jake open the garage door and then he landed the shuttle with the ease of a skilled pilot on his ten-thousandth carrier landing. Jake closed the large door before he opened the hatch to the shuttle, the dogs both hopped up and out the door they went and into the house to be greeted with Siaxx the cat.

Siaxx meowed softly as both dogs ran over to her, eager to greet her, she was startled and thus, she ran off, with Nymeria chasing after her while Grey Wind noticed Jorge the cat nearby, he moved over to the cat, sniffed at him as he gently rubbed his nose over the cat's face in a greeting. Jake came into the main living area before he went into the living space. "You want anything to drink?" he asked his spouse. "I got water, soda, beer, and pop in the fridge. Help yourself," he commented as a man used to living in this place.

Torilla followed him as she found herself looking at the view of the large mountain range. "Hoo wow..." she commented softly. "Jake... That's an amazing view," she commented. "I doubt I'll get tired of seeing that any time soon."

"Oh yes, the mountains look spectacular in the evening, you won't wanna miss it, pus the sunsets and sunrises in this world are to die for," Jake commented. "I also have a jacuzzi and a hot tub outside. For my medical concern." as he gave his wife an innocent look that she knew was complete rubbish.

"Mmm... Gotta look after those issues otherwise they get out of control. I remember my back issues on that flying circus." Torilla answered with a gentle smile.

"I recall the hours of sex we enjoyed in that tub. So I got a larger one... You feel like taking a bath with me?" Jake inquired as he grinned at her.

"Oh fuck yes," Torilla answered with a rather zesty smile. "I've not had my husband in too long, I've missed him."

"He's missed you too. I'm sensing my wife has been deprived." Jake commented as he moved over to her. "Stressed too. Fortunately, I have ways to cure her ills." as he grinned at her wife.

"Mmm... Well. I'm sensing my husband has been stressed recently." Torilla commented. "Sex is a good reliever, I'll let him have his way with me."

"Let me go get a couple of towels..." he commented as Torilla slipped off her uniform jacket and boots. Jake moved into the next hallway and up a flight of stairs. He returned a moment later with three large towels, rolled up, he then handed two of them to her. "Shall we?"

"Yes..." and with that, she followed him upstairs and into the bedroom they shared as he turned to face her. Jake then gently began stripping her of her clothing. "Mmm... I have missed you."

"Me too Jake," Torilla answered as she gently began stripping him of all of his clothing as well, within moments they were both nude as she grinned. 'Shall we?" she inquired as she turned, leading him into the large bathroom, he followed her into the bathroom before clothing the door behind them.
