Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1355Hrs - October 5th, 2393

The recording continued about its merry tale, Rob listed and watched while Celeste Yamaguchi-Hobbs did likewise. Connor raised an eyebrow, he knew what an agonizer was but he decided not to say that aloud as he had experiences with mirror universes including one he did not like to speak about, where he had been the Emperor with Celeste as his lady. The recording continued to play. "It's a device that is designed to cause pain," Enyo explained. "I jab you with it and it shocks you with electricity." There was something in Enyo's tone which set Yamaguchi-Hobbs's hairs on the back of her neck standing on end, it made her uneasy. "That just sounds wrong," Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered with a frown. "Why does someone do something like that?"

"For the enjoyment of abusing someone else," Enyo explained. "I've had it used against me on more than one occasion, it's effective at breaking people's spirits and it's also good for those who get off on abusing others..." Enyo regarded her twin. "Now I going to hopefully do something about it..."

"I read your mission profile, even the stuff command didn't want me to." Yamaguchi-Hobbs slowly smiled as she pushed her misgivings aside. "I'm glad that you're the one who's going and I'm glad this mission has your skillset..." she paused a moment. "I wish I was going with you."

Enyo smiled. "No, you don't honey," she answered quietly. "You got enough troubles here... and this mission will test me in ways I can't even imagine... It's going to be exhilarating, educational and terrifying, all in one go," she explained as she gently took Yamaguchi-Hobb's hands with her own. "I was settling in, I was happy... for the first time... I had a ship of my own with a crew who wasn't out to screw me or toy with me." she looked her twin in the eye while she spoke. "You have no idea how blessed you people are on this side of the veil... I hope you never find out what sort of shit I had to tolerate, my Exec wanting to violate me, the kitchen staff trying to poison the crew and the security Chief who was a predator of his crew, looking for the weak and vulnerable to exploit to further his position." Enyo paused a moment for Celeste to process this. "I will try and rescue what crew members of the Shield of Vega that I can... I will also try and rescue my children... But I must prepare for the possibility that they are all dead..."

"Wait." Connor paused. "Stop." and the recording froze. "Computer, go back ten seconds... play again."

The computer did as requested and the recording started a second time. Enyo spoke. "I will try and rescue what crew members of the Shield of Vega that I can... I will also try and rescue my children... But I must prepare for the possibility that they are all dead..."

"Pause again." Connor turned to Yamaguchi-Hobbs who was wearing an expectant look on his face. "Who was her husband?"

"You," Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered in a soft tone of voice. "That's why we're having this meeting now... I wanted you to be prepared for when she comes back..." Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered softly. "When she comes back and she lays eyes on you, I expect her to want to take you home and fuck you into the ground. I expect her to have the lust that will take hours to fully extinguish... You and she were together and she didn't make the mistake with her Robert that you and I made... She and Rob were never parted... They have two children... and she's spent the better part of a year wanting to get them back, she would do anything to accomplish her goal, even if it meant going alone and selling herself into sexual slavery to get it done."

"Wow, she's determined," Connor admitted.

"You have no idea, Rob," Yamaguchi-Hobbs admitted in a soft tone. "She's almost insane over the matter, she will do anything and I mean that quite literally." she sighed. "She is almost obsessed with recovering her babies... Whatever it takes. I hope she succeeded otherwise I suspect the effort will break her."

"If she succeeds... What then?" Connor paused. "Will she want to pick things up with me... I'm not him... I can't be him."

"I'm going to let her decide that," Yamaguchi-Hobbs commented. "You should too, don't reject the idea that a relationship between you and her could work out... It will let you take me to bed whenever you wish and you get to have the family you never had with me." Yamaguchi-Hobbs explained. "Victoria is not a bad person, she is a real sweetie but she doesn't show it as much as she should." she sighed softly. "There is a little more and you should see this for yourself." she inhaled softly. "Computer resume playback."

The recording started again, the march of time heading for final entropy and its final energy state as the last protons decayed away to nothing as Yamaguchi-Hobbs gently drew her twin into her arms as she hugged her. "Than I will wish you luck." she paused. "Do you have it?"

"The kukri that you gave me?" Enyo asked. "I do... You have exquisite taste in weapons Cel. Be assured that I will take good care of it" Enyo drew strength from the support of her twin. "I'm glad you're in my life..."

"As am I Enyo," Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered before the two women separated and went their separate ways when the recording stopped. "Computer end playback. After that I departed, heading home and Victoria boarded the Infinity at that point," she explained. "Questions?"

"I... I don't know what to think Cel." Connor admitted softly. "I had always thought I'd get a chance with you... and now you are handing me another version of you who already had me. What if we don't get along?"

"Then you don't get along," Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered softly. "Sometimes Rob, it's just how these things work out, but it's up to you to decide on how you want to handle the matter... Just remember that she's a more damaged and fragile version of me with two children and both are yours so int he end, the choice is yours."
