Mission: Mission 115: The Pale-Fac'd Moon looks Bloody on the Earth
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0800Hrs - November 11th, 2393

Lt Commander Ouros Yamaguchi knew that the time for talk had passed. She stepped forward as the turbolift doors opened and the bridge of the USS Gaarni appeared before her. Yamaguchi regarded the bridge crew as many of them were busy. Commander Ethan Duval was nodding while he was in conversation with the ship's Chief of the Boat.

Duval turned his head as he noticed Yamaguchi as she stood in silence. She took one step forward. "Lieutenant Commander Ouros Yamaguchi, reporting for duty sir," she explained herself.

"Welcome aboard Commander," Duval commented. He then quickly handled the introductions while he introduced Ouros to his bridge crew. The effort was quick as Ouros got to meet everyone. "Thank you. It's good to be here," she commented with a gentle smile.

"Number one. You look rather oddly well-rested. Did you not have any issues?" Duval asked.

"Nope. I spent the night at my father's home. Spending time with his cats and dogs was rather odd. I caught the morning shuttle up here." Yamaguchi explained. "I dropped my bags at my new home here before I came to see you," she added.

"I would have let you have the day off to get settled in. But I kinda need for you to go to work right away." Duval commented. "We're presently in the middle of resupplying the Gaarni. So we need all hands on deck to handle the efforts. We're then to meet with the USS Grey Wolf and handle being her escort for the coming assignment to Halana."

"That explains why you wanted me for this effort," Ouros answered with a nod of her head. "Where do you want me?" she asked.

"Go take a tour of the ship and let the various department heads who aren't on the bridge meet you and share their various issues with you."
Duval commented. "Also, you can check in with medical and the like at the same time."

"Consider it handled." Yamaguchi nodded her head. She then turned and departed the bridge in silence. Duval smiled as he watched her leave. Before he turned and went back to the ships Chief of the Boat. "Where are we with the loading Chief?" Duval inquired.

"We should be finished with the loading in about two hours. We can get underway at that point in time skipper," the Chief responded with a nod. "We'll need time to sort everything out and see what goes where but we can do that in transit." The Chief paused. "We do risk wearing our guys out doing all of this. If it's going to be a full deployment. Then we will have crew issues that might show up later."

"I know. I'm hoping this assignment will be short as the crew are tired. But I have a feeling they will rise to the occasion. Gaarni has a fine crew and they've never given me cause to question it before. I doubt they will now." Duval answered with a gentle smile.

Meanwhile. Lt Commander Ouros Yamaguchi walked into sickbay. She looked at the duty nurse who looked back at her. "Can I help you ma'am?" the man commented to her.

"I'm just in for the usual checkups and the like. It's generally good to let you guys know that I exist." Yamaguchi explained. The nurse turned and went over to where the doctor's office was located. "Doctor?" he asked the woman sitting behind the desk.

Lt Commander R'Nuul looked up, her kittenish appearance belied her size and grace. Her dark fur coat looked luxurious in looks and she was well built and also quite large. She was a Caitian female of a Jaguar breed. "Yes?" she asked.

"Lieutenant Commander Ouros Yamaguchi is here, she says she's in for the checkups."

"Excellent." as she rose to her feet with the ease of a dancer who was just warming up. She picked up her medkit and uniform jacket, which she then slipped on before she went out the door. Other than the lab coat, she was wearing nothing whatsoever. She approached the front door where she spotted a rather large looking human female. "Commander Yamaguchi?" the Caitian inquired.

"Thats me," Yamaguchi answered. "Doctor." she nodded to the large being, who was almost the same height that she, herself was.

"Right this way. I will tend to you myself." R'Nuul commented. "Take a seat on any bed and I will begin," she commented. Yamaguchi selected the closest bed before she hoisted herself onto it. R'Nuul went about her checkup. As expected she didn't find anything overly major but some of the recreation markers were questionable. "When was the last time you had sex with anyone?" R'Nuul inquired directly.

Yamaguchi paused a moment. "Two days ago," she answered.

"I'd like for you to tone it down. Had your bedmate been any rougher with you, he would have torn something and then I'd have to look after it. Do I need to file a complaint against your would-be suitor?" the Caitian inquired.

"Err. No. I won't be seeing him again." Yamaguchi admitted. "He was a civilian who was living planetside on a temporary basis. When I get back. I highly doubt he'll still be here." she admitted.

"Very well." The Caitian answered quietly. "Other than that issue. I'm going to cert you as fit for duty. You also should have access to the gym and the like." she added.

"Very well," Yamaguchi commented as she hopped off the bed, she turned to depart. The Doctor watched her leave, both women went about matters in silence.
