Posted on Mon May 30th, 2022 @ 5:48am by Lieutenant Kadian Paris & Lieutenant Taselle Dragon

Mission: Mission 114: Be All My Sins Remember'd
Location: Various Locations - USS Pembo
Timeline: 1830Hrs - November 2nd, 2393

Lieutenant Kadian Paris was sitting in her office, she was happy to not be making out death certificates which were something that every single medical officer she knew utterly hated. She had been at this for hours and while she was tired,m she resolved to push on and see this present batch of work completed before she went off watch.

Paris rose to her feet, she went around her desk as her uniform lab coat which was a medium blue concealed her womanly figure, which she felt was nice and curvy, if she did say so herself. She grasped her medkit and slipped over her shoulder before the slender young woman could stop herself, it was a force of habit so ingrained that she didn't think she'd ever be rid of it.

Paris emerged from her office as she let out a long sigh, before inhaling deeply of the air around her. "Haaahhh..." she added as a loud groan.

"Are you alright Doctor?" one of her second watch nurses asked of her.

"I'm tired. It's been a brutally long day..." Paris answered softly. "I need to stretch my limbs before I finish the last of my paperwork."

"Let me handle it, skipper. Why don't you go get some chow and some sleep... Good Doctors are hard to find... Anyone can push paper..."

"Alright..." Paris didn't argue the point, the nurse wasn't wrong and nor was this offer to be ignored or overlooked either. "Alright then. I'll-" was as far as she got before a female voice came over the com system. "Engineering to sickbay. I need a medic at my location... I got a couple of wounded."

Paris tapped her combadge. "Copy that. I'm on my way." she nodded to the nurse who nodded back, before Paris went out the door of sickbay and down the hallway, heading for her new destination.

Paris walked into a turbolift, the doors opened before her. "Main Engineering," she commented as she recalled that Main Engineering was down on deck fifteen while sickbay was on deck eight. The main bridge was on deck three, rather than deck one. This was a new design revision that had come along as a result of the weapons technology that had come out ever since the Dominion war.

Meanwhile, in Main Engineering. Lieutenant Taselle Dragon was kneeling over one of her engineers as he groaned softly, with a small pool of blood presently pooling around him. "Wha..." he groaned softly as he looked up at her. "Where'd we go wrong?"

Dragon paused. "Who knows... We'll look into what happened when we get a chance..." the large-framed Cardassian woman added. "Easy Ensign..." Dragon commented softly. "The medics are coming."

The Ensign nodded softly as he groaned, he felt the Cardassian woman's fingers in one of his vein's. She gently held him against her sop he could not move, he was risking dislodging her fingers, and as a result. He might bleed out.

The nearby turbolift doors opened and out came Lieutenant Kadian Paris, she turned and moved speedily to the side of the downed engineer. "Report?" she almost demanded.

"One laceration to the wrist, the vein has been opened." Dragon reported. "Ensign Taylor here simply fell down one deck... He tried grabbing at the ladder and sliced his hand and wrist open on a ragged shard of metal," she explained.

"Okay," Paris responded as she pulled her medkit off of her back and she went to work. "Don't worry Ensign. You're gonna be fine!" Paris smiled down as she went to work.

Dragon knew she was going to need to go home and change as she was covered in human blood. She elected not to complain about the matter at hand as she focused on the Engineer and not the handsome Doctor before her.

Paris nodded. "Slowly move your fingers Taselle... Let me in there," she commented but as Paris moved in, she found herself getting a shower of blood. She moved closer and began to work to seal the artery. Moments later she was finished and the artery was sealed. "There we go, much better," Paris commented before she wiped her face, her hands came away wet with blood. "Don't worry Ensign, I've looked worse..."

"I'm... sorry." the man answered before he suddenly passed out. Dragon raised an eyebrow but she turned to Paris. "I assume you want him in sickbay."

"I do," Paris answered softly. "I want the personel there to give your man the once over, make sure I didn't miss anything," she explained before she tapped her combadge. "Engineering to Transporter room two... Medical Emergency, two to beam directly to sickbay."

"Stand by for transport." came the response as Dragon slowly moved away from the smaller medical officer before her when suddenly the smaller female and her downed Ensign both departed Engineering in a haze of transporter energy.

Dragon's attention turned to the pool of blood that had gathered on the deck. "Chief, your in charge while I go and clean this blood up."

"Oh, we'll get this mess skipper. Why don't you go change and get some chow..." the chief petty officer answered. "You've been at this longer than any of us... and most of Alpha watch has already gone off duty, per your orders..."

"Yeah." Dragon sighed. "I'll do that..." and with that, the large framed Cardassian woman turned and departed Engineering, fully aware she reeked of human blood.
