In Through The Unguarded Portal

Posted on Fri Mar 13th, 2020 @ 9:02pm by Commander Victoria 'Enyo' Yamaguchi & Chief Warrant Officer Courtney "Warhowl" Yamaguchi & Lieutenant Commander Shandis "Darkmoon" Dvald-Festlin

Mission: Mission 95: Through the Looking Glass
Location: The New Holland System - Near Starbase 12
Timeline: 0800Hrs, September 1st, 2392

The small cloaked shuttle filled with infiltrators moved towards the Roanoke task force and the massed defenses clustered around Starbase 12.

"You're a talented pilot. Make sure we stay hidden." Anjou told Hassel.

"Aye, Commander," Hassel replied. "Shouldn't be that difficult."

"No, it shouldn't. I am more concerned that our shuttle becomes detected intentionally." Anjou replied.

"Commander?" Hassel asked, a bit confused.

"Don't be coy Ensign," Anjou told Hassel. "I know you're very disgruntled. The urge to defect must be very strong. I'm warning you for your own good. You defect to these people you'll spend the rest of your miserable life in a cage. The only company you will have will be the researchers that come to study you. Your an invasive species here, never forget that."

"Is that why you brought the goon along?" Hassel motioned towards K'Ryi.

"The good Commander knows I wouldn't hesitate to blow your head off." K'Ryi threatened Hassel.

"Sergeant sh'Amlari, have I ever insulted your intellect?" Anjou asked the Andorian marine.

"Um, no." She replied.

"Then why do you insult mine?" Anjou rhetorically asked. "I know about the way you two feel about each other."

"Then why did you bring me along?" K'Ryi asked.

"To remind our would be wayward Ensign why it would be a bad idea to defect," Anjou replied.

"You forget your place." Ajax Ruhr snarled at Anjou. "Your not in charge of this operation."

"Oh look, the hound speaks." Anjou smiled at Ajax. "My dear Commander, I am responsible for the morale and dedication of the crew to the empire. To that duty, I answer to no one save the Imperial Intelligence Corp."

Siaxx Dvald yawned softly. "Would you guys please give it a rest.?" she smiled at Rohr and Anjou as Enyo, the tall darker skinned female smiled. "Coming up to my stop. Ensign would you mind pulling over so I can get off?" she inquired. "The stench of ego is poisoning my thinking."

"You may get off soon enough," Anjou told Siaxx. "And the good Ensign will be here to return you home to us."

Enyo rolled her eyes. "Seriously. The male hormones in here are making the air noxious," she muttered.

"We will?" K'ryi asked, her assault phaser leveled at Anjou.

"You do disappoint me, Sergeant," Anjou told the blue girl. "Put down your weapon and submit yourself to justice. I cannot promise you mercy but it is the correct thing to do."

"You're an evil man, Commander Anjou. You deserve to die." K'Ryi told him. She fired her weapon but the phase misfired.

"Foolish girl." Anjou coolly replied. He then pointed his phaser and shot her. She fell back against the hull of the shuttle and crumpled down to the deck, a small waft of smoke, indicating that she was dead.

"No!" Hassel yelled as he left his station and went to K'Ryi. He pulled her unresponsive body up into his arms. "You fucker! You killed her!"

"You knew she had an inert weapon and you still killed her?" Ajax yelled. "You had no right!"

"Oh to the contrary Klingon half-breed." Anjou shot back at Ajax. "All loyal subjects are to take command and punish those that refuse to take up the responsibility of their duties."

Enyo regarded him with a look of disdain. "On the contrary," she commented. "He's right and you're wrong. We're on assignment and I needed her alive. You've just cost me my help and if I come back. I will fucking murder you." as she drew her own weapons.

Siaxx chuckled softly. "Well now, this escalated quickly." she paused. "Enyo. You are up. Anjou, I highly recommend you do not do anything rash or stupid or I'll stick you myself. She won't need to kill you as I'll beat her to it."

Anjou eyed Enyo. "Master Chief, don't give me any idle threats. Come back with a successful mission and I'll give you a chance to make good on your words." He then turned to Siaxx. "Commander, my actions are neither rash or stupid. They are meticulously thought out. Impress me with your actions, not words."

"She was right, you are evil," Rohr told Anjou. "I hope you die."

"Large words that you have big brother here to protect you." Anjou smiled at Rohr. "That's the most assertive I've seen you since we've met."

Dvald sighed. "Stop talking Anjou," she growled. "You are pissing my guys off and we have a mission to run. Helm, drop Enyo off now." she turned while she drew her blade and stabbed Anjou in the chest with one of her blades, it was dull and didn't penetrate deeply into him.

Siaxx had a wide grin on her face as she licked the blood off of the blade. Enyo Meanwhile sighed. "Oh dear God," she said aloud before she tapped the display. "Helm. We're here. Beam me over to the base at these coordinates." She wanted to be gone ten minutes ago and not watch this stupid sad drama unfold.

Anjou was down on one knee while he struggled with his wound. "Damn you Bolian. You've ruined my favorite jacket." He struggled as his fingers were red with blood. Rohr pulled the medkit from the shuttle and began to mend the scar. "Poor form Commander, poor form," Anjou told Siaxx.

Enyo was beamed over as the tall female had a smile on her face while she was beamed away. Jiao Anderson came over along with Varkon.

Siaxx chuckled like a madwoman. "Oh please.. you can't do anything to me.." she responded before she let out a giggle like a half-demented schoolgirl. "Oh why so serious!" she added. "Let's turn that frown upside down!" she added, a wide grin appearing on her lips as she did so.

"Enough!" Ajax bellowed as he put himself in front of Siaxx. "Commander, get a hold yourself. Your team is relying on you. Now compose yourself before you beam over."

Anjou was about to say something when Ajax raised his hand. "Say nothing you political hack or I'll do more than ruining your jacket," Anjou said nothing but did snort at Ajax's words.

"Ensign, are we in range of that station?" Ajax asked.

"Then save for Lieutenant Rohr, beam my team over," Ajax ordered and he was gone.

"I'm done patching you up. Do you still want to beam over?" Rohr asked Anjou.

"Of course, don't be daft." Anjou snapped at Rohr. "But first, dispose of the Sergeant's body." He ordered Hassel.

"No," Hassel replied, visibly upset. "I won't do it."

"I'll do it." Rohr went to the controls. She put in the commands and K'Ryi's body vanished. "Sorry, Nick. Please don't do anything stupid. I don't want to be here long."

Hassel said nothing but nodded his head. He then beamed the two away to Starbase 12.

Siaxx chuckled softly. "There might be hope for you yet Mister Rohr." she paused. "Beam me over to this ship." she indicated one of the Century class Heavy Cruisers. "Send Jiao and Varkon over to the large support craft moored here." she indicated the two locations on the sensor display. "Once you are set. Beam us off." Dvald ordered.

Hassel nodded and energized the transporter.

Siaxx Dvald grinned as the small Bolian beamed away, followed by the shorter than average human female and the Brikar, both of whom were nearby. Siaxx smiled as she appeared on the starbase, she turned and went off down the hallway on her mission.
