Mission: Mission 82: It Is War’s Prize to Take All Vantage.
Location: Outskirts - Jin'zakk System
Timeline: 1015Hrs - April 30th, 2392

By this point, the warfare between both sides was fast and fierce with massive salvos flying between both sides as the USS Fall of Berlin slowly dropped out of the formation as if she seemed to be having engine troubles.

In Engineering. Commander Anjohl Nerys had her eyes almost glued to the displays before her. "They seem to not be taking the bait. Good for me," she commented almost to herself. "Power status?"

"Power reserves are at sixty percent of normal sir." came the response.

"Alright. Shut down the warp drive and shunt that power to the shield systems.." Anjohl commented with a smile. "I don't plan on departing this fight anytime soon."

"But the skipper-" One of the junior Engineers started but was then silenced with Anjohl's statement of "-Will understand." the handsome Bajoran commented. "In the meantime, keep the power balanced.." she shot back to her engineers nearby.

"Yessir." the Engineer went back to his panel as the ship seemed to moan and groan around them.

Up on the bridge, the scene was organized chaos as Leah Anderson was still in her chair, she had her hands clasped together with her elbows on either armrest of her chair, she looked to be deep in thought. "Wait for it..." she commented.

Lieutenant Stera Uchei raised an eyebrow, "Skipper, we couldn't be any more enticing if we tried.." the Chief Conn Officer complained, the normally cheery Betazoid was now all business. "And.. we'll be in position in about five seconds.."

"I am ready." Lt Commander Hiraxea Gadiwat commented with a smile. "Come to me, my darlings... I promise this won't hurt... much." the rather happy Bolian commented aloud.

Commander Robert Anderson regarded the large Bolian female. "Y'know how creepy that sounds when you talk like that"?

"That's not what I was told last night." Gadiwat gave him a grin before she blew him a kiss. "I was told that I was magnificent."

Lt Commander Ashiv Th'ezereth raised an eyebrow. "Well that escalated quickly." he tossed in his own two cents into the conversation presently happening while the fight was raging.

"In range. Firing." Gadiwat responded as she tapped the display before her. Roughly two hundred warheads emerged from their warhead launchers before they shot towards their various targets. Some were shot down but over a hundred and sixty crashed into targets and as a result over three dozen of the transports vanished in clouds of metal fire before the second and third salvos finished off the remaining transports. Within minutes the Klingon fleet turned and disengaged after trading blows with the Federation fleet.

Captain Leah Anderson sighed softly as she relaxed. "So.. we won."

"So it would seem.." Logan agreed with her before he tapped his combadge. "Bridge to Engineering. Anjohl, give me some good news?"

"Sorry Commander, for good news you'll want to talk to Ezazaa." the Bajoran referred to the Chief Counselor who had departed the bridge about midway through the battle. "We definitely need time inside a shipyard for these repairs. I got more holes in the armor than that Terran style of cheese. I forget the name. But yeah, we are full'a holes." Anjohl sighed. "Sorry Captain, you asked me for my honest assessment, we are no longer able to remain on the front lines in our present state, we shouldn't have been on the front lines before this battle.."

Anderson turned to her husband. "Contact the fleet, explain our situation and request relief as soon as they can get it to us."

Robert Anderson had every right to tell her that she needed to go through channels but he simply complied with his wife's order. He finished composing the message, he then coded it before he sent it off. He lifted his head. "Skipper, the message has been sent."

Anderson smiled before she nodded. "Alright then."
