Mission: Mission 80: The Arms are fair. When the Intent of Bearing Them is Just
Location: ACSF Noble - The Maze.
Timeline: Apr 17th 2392

Minske Hyuro along with several of her senior officers approached the drydock where Enterprise-E docked. Bortasque has to make do with simply flying alongside Noble as the klingon ship's width prevented it from effectively utilizing Akurian docking ports. As soon as she reached the airlock, the doors opened and on the other side was Enterprise-E's command staff, or rather, what was left of it, which was just Alyssa McKinley, Aurelian Saunders, and Tial Lamek.

Commander Aurelian Saunders sighed softly. "You guys okay?" she asked her two companions, she had taken Worf's baldric and she now wore it over her own uniform, from right shoulder to left hip.

Lamek nodded his head. "I will endure," he commented quietly, while his wife was wounded she would live but his big bone of contention was his children as they had been left behind on Starbase Twelve, he missed them and it showed. "Maybe these guys will be able to assist us."

Saunders nodded. "Maybe.." as the doors opened forward, she found herself looking at open space before she looked down at the small being before her. "Hello. I am Aurelian Saunders." the older woman responded. "This is Lieutenant Tial Lamek, my Chief of Security and Lieutenant Commander Alyssa McKinley, my Chief Engineer."

Minske looked at the three and replied," I'm Fleet Captain second Class Minske Hyuro, temporary commander of the Noble. First thing is first, given the condition of your ship, it is safe to assume you have casualties onboard."

Alyssa suggested. "Should just evacuate everyone since the life support system just died on us."

Saunders nodded. "Yeah... I have two hundred and three deceased and everyone else is wounded to some degree or another... Except... me." as she suddenly found herself fighting off tears. "MmmHmm.. excuse me... Sorry." she paused. "Can we evacuate my ship...including our dead?"

A small human female came around the corner. "I thought I might find you here skipper." she addressed Minske Hyuro.

Minske looked over at the newly arrived Shireen Yamaguchi. "Oh hey, Shireen, another ship from the Federation is here. though give me a minute I have to contact the hospital and have them evacuate the ship, her life support system is no longer working."

Shireen nodded her head. "Sounds good..." she processed the news. "U.S.S. Enterprise.." she then smiled. "N.C.C. One Seven Oh One... Eee." she read aloud. "I've never seen one of these ships before."

With that Minske pulled back and used an intercom panel to contact the Hospital and soon enough hundreds of Akurian medical personnel arrived. Minske then commented. "Well hopefully for most of this crew that died, we can make them alive again."

Saunders blinked. "Wait...You can revive the dead?" she inquired as she felt her brain implode.

Shireen Yamaguchi nodded her head. "Yes ...Commander?" she inquired, hesitantly. "We can revive your fallen... Within limits of course.." she explained. "Why don't you guys come on over here and we can set to know each other," she explained.

The shorter human woman led the two human females out of the airlock area and off to the side of the large hallway area, she didn't recognise the species of the third officer with them. "Well, ladies. Welcome aboard the Noble, she is quite special..."

Saunders regarded the human before her. "You.. are human."

"I am indeed... I am also from the Federation. But.. that is a long story." Shireen responded. "My name.. is Shireen Yamaguchi."

Saunders raised an eyebrow. "Yamaguchi... as in Jake Yamaguchi.?"

"I don't know who that is.." Shireen responded quietly.

Minske briefly watched as her medical staff evacuated the crew of the Enterprise. Most of the crew ended up coming out on stretchers, but somewhere able to walk on their own. She didn't need to go and greet the Commanders of the Klingon ship since Admiral Yuvo was handling them. So the small Jorkuri then approached Saunders and Shireen and started to explain to Saunders, "Well I Might as well be upfront, your ship is the sixteenth Federation vessel to end up in Akurian Territory. The Klingon ship is the twenty-second to end up over here. So needless to say, we have become fairly well prepared when one of your ships ends up here. Though I'll be honest, your ship must have had some hell of upgrades to even withstand getting hit by ordinance from our side. Every other ship would have been one shotted."

Saunders nodded her head. "Yeah... We had a few upgrades.." she turned to Alyssa. "Didn't you come from the ship that was used as the prototype for all our upgrades?"

Alyssa nodded," Yes, and actually we got these upgrades from your people." She motioned to Minske.

Minske looked curious. "So you have encountered our people?"

Alyssa nodded," Yep we have your people helped ours receive some technology upgrades after some of your technology got leaked to some of our enemies. Hell, there are some Akurians even in command of our ships, such as Teval Vakar, who commands the ship I previously was on. There was another one who was regularly helping us with the upgrades, the name was Ryuukei Akavai."

With that name, Minske's fur stood on end. "Ryuukei, wait, you met him."

Alyssa nodded. "Yeah, why do you ask."

Minske breathed a sigh of relief," Well it's good to know he is alive, yeah I know him, he is a good friend of mine and the actual captain of this ship. Hell, his family designed the thing."

Minske then gave the matter some thought. "Wait, if some of our people ended up over there too, then there must be a stable method of transit to get to the federation." She then looked at Saunders. "Do you think you or your crew can direct us to the system you came from."

Saunders paused. "We should still have that information in our ships computers. However, they have been damaged and we'll need to get them working again." the older woman explained. Meanwhile, a Klingon in a large cossack appeared nearby, he came over with two other Klingons and an Akurian Velkuri. "Commander Saunders. Was that not a glorious battle?"

"Something like that Chancellor," Saunders responded. "It's good to see that you survived."

Martok grinned at her. "We should share a drink for our fallen at some point."

"I'd be honored," Saunders responded. "Is the Bortasque secure?"

"He is... The...Akurians are presently securing him. They also do not trust me or my troops."

Yamaguchi regarded Martok with a measured eye. "That's because most Klingons on this side do not behave themselves, sir," she explained. "They tend to cause issues and trouble... and they usually end up in jail."

"That is unfortunate," Martok responded with a soft growl.

The small human female simply shrugged. "Yes indeed... for them." she then smiled. "However we do have ways to make them fit in... Most Klingons on this side do... It's those few who don't.." Shireen regarded the massive Klingon before her, no fear in her eyes whatsoever.

At that point, Admiral Yuvo Hazeri, commander of the 58th independent fleet showed up. "Well, you have to forgive us for that. with Klingon culture, it seems most have difficulty adapting to our lifestyle. But hey, at least all Klingon's have been more well behaved than the Jem'Hadar."

Martok nodded his head. "There is nothing to forgive Admiral... You saved my ship and my remaining crew. Your people fought with honor. I welcome the chance to get to know you and your people better."

Saunders raised an eyebrow. "Jem'Hadar. Wait.. you have the ability to get through to our galaxy at will?"

Yuvo shook his head. "No, we don't. At least not intentionally anyway. Somewhere in this massive collection of wormholes known as the maze, there are wormholes leading to your galaxy, but we don't know which one. Likewise, ships from your Galaxy have ended up here, largely by accident."

Saunders nodded. "Well we started out shaking down our ships in the Sherman system." the older woman explained.

Yamaguchi turned. "So did the Mohawk... We were running from a Klingon battle group that followed us through a wormhole..."

Yuvo nodded. "Well I can tell you this, we have ended up with Federation, Klingons, Romulan, Cardassian, Breen, Ferengi, Gorn, Dominion, and a mishmash of other alpha and beta quadrant ships."

Saunders nodded. "Probably from several of these wormholes... But as none have been reported as stable... They are probably interspatial flexures that relocate at random times and places." the older woman explained. "They appear and the chance is if it is in front of a ship which then swallows the ship before moving again because the ships drive signature and mass disrupted the interspatial flexures space-time equilibrium."

Tial Lamek regarded her with a sudden look. "I am not going to pretend I understood a single word you just said, sir."

Yamaguchi chuckled softly. "I don't think the Commander cares," she explained with a smile. "Besides. I need to go and investigate if quarters have been arranged for you all yet. Please excuse me?"

"Sure." and with that Shireen Yamaguchi turned and walked away. Tial Lamek watching her walk away.

Saunders raised an eyebrow. "You interested?"

"Of course. I imagine she'd be quite the athlete in the bunk."

Saunders only smiled at the comment. "Go let the crew know to start packing their things and start making their way out here please."

"Yessir." with that Lamek turned and went back into the Enterprise-E to carry out that order.

Minske Hiyuro then turned to Saunders and Martok saying. "Well, we can arrange for quarters for your crew, you all can stay here for as long as this ship is deployed to the maze, or until we find the link to your galaxy. If we can't find a link then you will be welcome to join the thousands of Federation, Klingon, Romulan and Cardassian people already peacefully living within the OISU."

Martok paused as he growled very softly. "For now. We should remain here... Help in the search for that wormhole that led us here." he turned and said something in Klingon to one of his two aides. "We will give you our database... It may help you."

Saunders nodded in agreement. "We will do the same."

"You have fought heroically Captain." Matrok turned to Saunders. "Worf chose his first mate well... He would have been proud of you."

"I was honored to be his first officer. I'll always remember him." Saunders responded with a smile. "Worf leaves quite the legacy.." as she brushed her fingers over her new baldric. "One I am happy to carry on for him. I did not remove the credit of his house as I didn't feel it was my place."

"I understand... You wear the crest of Martok for sentimental reasons."

"I wear it to honor his name and memory," Saunders explained.

"A surprisingly Klingon attitude. How very refreshing." Martok nodded, a smile on his craggy face.

Minske looked at the two of them, "Well if we can help it, we'll try and bring him and the others back to life, but in the meantime, I suggest you and your crews get some rest."

Yuvo then said to Martok. "Sorry we can't dock your ship to ours, your ship is a little too wide for our drydocks, but we can send engineers over to help with repairs. We can also get you in contact with any other Klingons over here and you can see if any of them want to join your crew."

"I understand. You honor me, my ship and my crew. I will remember this honor." as Martok nodded to Yuvo. "Is there anything special about your rules that we should know?" he inquired. "I need to see to my ship and crew and I do not wish to keep you."

Saunders opened her mouth to say something but she closed it again before she added. "Yeah...umm.. what he said."

Yuvo shook his head. "No nothing too special, just obey common sense rules. If you guys are onboard one of our ships, act like it has the same rules as a Federation installation and they won't be any issues, otherwise, you and your crew are pretty much free to roam the ship's public areas, this thing is pretty much a mobile starbase after all."

"Well, Chancellor. Your people will fit in just fine..." Shireen responded. "It's not often we get to play host to a visiting head of state." the small human added, two large Klingons walking beside her.

"I was not going to mention that Ms. Yamaguchi." Matrok addressed her.

"You honor us with your august presence Chancellor. It is I who am honored." as she bowed to him. "We met as enemies. A hundred and fifty years ago."

"You commanded the Mohawk... I always wondered what happened to that battlegroup... Did they die well?"

Yamaguchi nodded. "They did Chancellor. Wait... you speak of that event?"

"A single Geronimo class against four birds of Prey and a single D7 and you all fell in battle battling the other... Indeed. It is a glorious tale." one of the Klingons beside Shireen spoke. "I can tell you the tale later... If you wish."

"Sure.." Shireen responded. "I'd like to hear the tale of my death.."

"As you wish." the massive Klingon spoke. "When are you off watch?"

"Three hours time. I will come find you afterward... What's your name?"

"Doran... Of no house. I am a commoner." the man responded evenly. "Chancellor. By your leave.... I'd like to learn more about the medical facilities aboard this ship."

"Go," Martok responded lightly before turning to Yuvo. "Yes... I am or rather I was the head of state of the Klingon Empire... By now the Empire will have selected a new Chancellor."

Yuvo was a little surprised by this fact. "Well, this is the kind of thing that doesn't happen all that often. Well I guess it is a bit fortunate then, we actually do have a number of Klingon ships sitting in our mothball yards, some of them pretty old, but if and when we do open up a stable link, we are willing to repatriate the ships to the Klingon empire."

"Thank you. We'll more then likely scrap them but their names will be honored and the deeds of their crews will be remembered." Martok responded.

Saunders watched the exchange, while more of her crew exited the Enterprise and moved themselves plus their belongings onto the Noble.
