Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1335Hrs - July 12th, 2393

Taselle Dragon regarded the display before her as she tapped the display once with her left hand, the display went black as the young Cardassian female sat back in her chair, a rather evil glare on her face. "Soon I will find you human.. and then I'll make you run like a vole in a maze before you die." as she tapped the small picture of April Dragon which Taselle Dragon or rather Taselle Torr gently ran her fingers almost lovingly over the picture.

"It's almost a shame... Isn't it... Old friend..." Taselle commented aloud. "Our reunion will be delayed no longer."

The picture did not answer her, it never did. Taselle smiled as she tapped the display a second time. The display lit up as the Cardassian resumed her hunt for the woman who she felt had tormented her in her youth. Unseen by its owner, the young woman's right hand clenched into a rather angry clenched fist before its owner deliberately forced herself to relax.

Taselle smiled as she tapped the display as an image of the USS Morningstar appeared before her. "Excellent, disable her, I want her commanding officer, alive." the Cardassian commended the troops under her command. "Bring her to me."

"Yessir. It'll be done." came the response.

Meanwhile, Captain April Dragon sighed softly as she was seated in the ready room of her ship, the Intrepid-class, the USS Morningstar as she considered the memory of the child she had adopted after the end of the war with the Dominion, the glassing of Cardassia prime started an exodus of Cardassian civilians to several of the Hub worlds and the Federation, as millions of refugees fled across the border. One of the Cardassian children who came across the border was a young girl named Taselle whom April had adopted as her own, however, things got a little crazy and the two could never really work out their issues before the teenager ran away from home and disappeared. To this day, April had no idea where Taselle had disappeared off to.

The USS Morningstar suddenly shook with the force of a direct impact, the com system beeped at her. "Captain Dragon, to the bridge."

Dragon rose to her feet as the deck went sideways, the ship had clearly taken a direct strike as suddenly two Cardassian troopers appeared before her, one of them grabbed Dragon while the second drove his fist into her chest. Dragon screamed as she began to struggle with both troopers, but in the end, the two were able to subdue her before the three of them beamed away.

Dragon found herself being hauled and tossed in a cell, where the Cardassians routinely kept their prisoners. Then she found out what the Cardassians did to their prisoners. Dragon found herself going through abuses she had never imagined possible and at the end of her journey of abuse and pain, she found herself facing Taselle Torr.

"A challenge." the Cardassian female smiled as the guard turned and departed in silence. "You should prove to be an interesting challenge. Possibly the most interesting to come through that door in many years." as the young female shifted her position, clearly getting comfortable.

"What do you want?" Dragon asked softly.

"Why you, of course. Dragon. April. Serial number Delta Romeo dash two six eight dash one one nine. Daughter of Edward and Nicole Dragon. Born in New Perth, on Stapelton Center. Don't look so surprised. How could we have designed a lure for the Commander of Task Force Eighteen unless we knew something about her background."

"So you concocted an elaborate ruse to bring me here. Why?" Dragon inquired, clearly pressing for specifics.

"In this room, you do not ask questions. I ask them and you will answer. If I'm not satisfied with those answers, you will die." Taselle regarded the nude human female before her as the two guards proceeded to lift Dragon's arms before they hung her up from the ceiling like a hunk of meat as if she was a dead animal. The Cardassian female had a rather evil look in her eye. "Hello, April, how ya feeling?" she inquired.

"The Cardassian ideals of accommodations are lacking. Had you called me? I would have come running." Dragon answered.

"I am sure," Taselle answered. "The Cardassian people will become strong again."

Dragon held her silence as she knew the young woman before she would commence with torturing her soon enough.

"So, since you have finally made it to me." Taselle suddenly grinned at the older female. "They weren't too hard with you, were they?" she was referring to the other Cardassian personnel assigned to this facility.

"Fuck you." Dragon answered quietly, she knew she would get only snide comments.

Taselle chuckled softly. "I didn't know that was an option. Now, let me explain how this works and why you were brought to me." the Cardassian female answered. "You are here because you have information that I want from you." as she grinned evilly at the older human female. "Now, shall we begin?" the Cardassian female inquired as she called over a medic. "Inject her with the medication, start at three point oh."

The medic nodded and went about her work, injecting April with the medication a moment later.

Taselle Torr smiled. "Your place of birth?"

"Stapelton Center, Wolf Three Five Nine"

"Taselle pressed on "Mother's name?"

"Nicole Anderson." Dragon answered, in a flat, even tone.

"She's ready. Keep the serum at that level. What is your current assignment?" Taselle inquired

"Commanding Officer, USS Morningstar." Dragon answered.

"What is your mission on USS Morningstar?" Taselle pressed.

"To patrol the Federation - Cardassian border."

"What are the Federation's defense plans for Minos Korva?" Taselle pressed.

"I don't know." Dragon answered.

Taselle sighed softly. "Increase the level slightly to point three one. Let's begin again, shall we? Name?"

"Dragon. April" Dragon answered quietly.

Taselle pushed on. "Your place of birth?"

"Stapelton Center, Wolf Three Five Nine" Dragon answered in a steady flat tone of voice.
