Mission: Mission 72: T'Would Ring the Bells of Heaven
Location: Various Locations - USS Courageous
Timeline: 0600Hrs - March 25th, 2392

Lieutenant Hae Min Lee smiled softly as she stripped off her clothing as she padded her way into the bathroom, her wife was still asleep as she knew that her due rate for her child was rapidly approaching, she turned off the water before stepping into the shower.

She felt a wave of pain pass through her, she gritted her teath as it subsided, she finished in hr shower just moments later, she turned off the water before stepping out, she then dried off and began donning her clothing, her wife was waking up at the same time. "Hey..." Lee greeted Rachael.

Racheal grinned at the other woman with a smile as she stretched upwards, letting the blankets spill from her chest. Lee suddenly grinned at her wife. "Mmm... " as she gently grasped and gave her wife's breasts a squeeze, eliciting a moan from Falanner.

"I have plans for these when I get home."

"Don't tease me.." Falanner responded, a playful smile tugging at her lips. "Go on Lee. Otherwise I'm going to take you into the shower with me and fuck you senseless.."

"Now who's teasing?" Lee grinned at her wife. "I'm going to work now... I will see you later as I take you to bed and fuck you into the ground." and with that the two women's lips met in a rather passionate kiss that left both women breathless.

Hae Min Lee then departed the quarters she shared with her wife as another surge of what she assumed to be back pain hit her in a single wave. She sighed as she gritted her teath for the third time this morning.

The pain faded a few minutes later then Hae Min Lee began walking forward again, moving into the sickbay on the Courageous. "Morning guys." she smiled as she regarded her crewmates and comrades as the nightshift departed and the morning shift arrived.

Another wave of pain hit Hae Min Lee as she walked in, she hissed between her teath as she sighed, but this time people noticed. "You okay?" Commander Rachael Haig inquired.

"I've been better... woke up with this back pain that comes and goes.." the asian woman responded.

"You want me to take a look at you?" Haig inquired with a soft smile.

"No.. I'll be fine." Hae Min Lee smiled with effort as the pain slowly subsided.

"Alright, your call." Haig responded with a soft smile. "If you want.. I'm going to assign you to assist Calliope with things in the tower sickbay. I know the fighter pilots have an exercise planned so I want to make sure we're ready to dance up there."

Pravdin came over, she had a large medkit slung over her shoulders in a large rucksack arrangement. "I'm ready to go... What about you Lee?"

"I will endure."

"You say that like its a bad thing." Pravdin responded with a soft chuckle as Lee gathered her things, the two women then set off, reaching their destination a short time later. Along the way another wave of pain hit Hae Min Lee as the two women walked.

Pravdin noticed. "You okay?" she inquired in a kind tone.

"Its just back pain... Nothing too serious.." the asian female responded.

Pravdin raised an eyebrow as if she didn't believe the heavily pregnant woman. "Lee-"

"I'll get it looked at when we finish.. okay?" she knew she wasn't going to mollify the other woman who wanted to become pregnant while Lee herself was busy having contractions except she herself thought it was simple back pain.

The two went through the flight deck sickbay, getting things prepared and the like just in case things went sour during the exercise that Group Master Thel 'Vadam'ee, known better as 'Arbiter' had arranged for later this morning.

Now that things were finished. Pravdin held a tricorder in her hand. "Lee.. Let me look you over... because this isn't back pain... and you know it."

"I'll be fine."

"Take a seat on the bed... You're having contractions and I want to be sure you are not being a dummy on the matter."

"Screw you!" Lee responded.

"Don't tease me." Pravdin tossed back at her in a light tone as she opened her tricorder, she then gave Hae Min Lee the once over. "Yep... as I thought.." she sighed. "You are having your baby now.. and you're fully dilated too."

"What..?"

Pravdin tapped her combadge. "Pravdin to sickbay. Lieutenant Lee is having her baby right now.. Prepare a room for us.. We're on our way back."

Haig's voice was the one that answered. "Its been ready for the last week... Anytime you are ready Calliope."

"Hmm." Pravdin smiled as she gently pulled Lee to her. "Transporter room three, two to beam from my location to sickbay."

The two appeared via transporter in the main sickbay just moments later as Lee was taken into the birthing room. Pravdin then tapped her combadge. "Pravdin to Falannar. Your presence is requested in sickbay sir."

"I have to attend to a few things here then I'll be right along okay,.?" Falannar's voice came back.

"Understood." Pravdin responded evenly. "I'll let the guys here know to expect you so you can come in for your wife delivering her child."

"Understood." and with that the com ended as Pravdin went over to the on duty nurse. "Hey... I'm expecting Lieutenant Commander Falannar here soon because her wife is having a baby, when she gets here just have her go clean up and then let her in okay?"

"Yes Doctor." Chief Petty Officer Frederick Mahan responded with a smile, suddenly it started to rain. "What the hell?"

"Warning, warp core breach is imminent." the computer suddenly intoned.

"What the hell?" Mahan quietly inquired before he began gathering his medical effects.

Rachel Haig came through the door. "Its alright... Its just a matter of idiocy in Engineering." she commented. "Calliope, assist me with this one please... Lee is stressed."

"On my way." she turned to Mahan. "Could you find out whats going on in Engineering and see if they need any medical help.?"

"Aye Lieutenant." as he turned to brief one of the other nurses while Pravdin went into the birthing room to find that Hae Min Lee was not in a good mood. "I'm friggin soaked.. Was this someone's idea of a joke.?"

"No.. apparently there is something going on in Engineering.. We don't know what... but you need to focus on the here and now." Pravdin responded. "Why didn't you tell someone you were having your baby.?"

"I didn't think it was important."

Pravdin couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Are you insane?" she inquired. "It's not important that you are having a baby and you decide to not worry about it until you are practically pushing the little one out... were you gonna catch him before he hit the ground.?"

"I would have been fine.." Lee protested.

"Yeah.. sure.." Pravdin sighed softly. "Lee.. focus on your child.. push."

"I am pushing!" Lee snarled back.

"Stop arguing and push." Pravdin responded evenly. "You'll be done soon."

A short time later, in among the sounds of a woman groaning, moaning and softly screaming, there was the sound of a baby wailing as Lee slumped back down, while that was going on, Lee delivered the placenta and the rest of the stuff that her child had needed to survive, the tray that her afterbirth debres ended up in was disposed of quickly and quietly.

Lee's child was gently placed into her arms, as she gently held her baby in her arms, she was exhausted and it was showing. "Do you got a name for her?"

"Thao." Lee responded with a soft smile. "Any sign of Rachael?"

"No.." the nurse responded evenly.

"Alright." as Lee settled down with her daughter in her arms.
