Mission:
Mission 73: Near Misses and Close Encounters
Location: Various Locations - USS Tranquility
Timeline: 1000Hrs - March 23rd, 2392
Commander Siaxx Dvald-Sullivan was in a royally foul mood while she regarded the service records of the half dozen or so people that the small Bolian had decided she wanted rid of, one of them had ratted Saki Yamaguchi out for being a troublemaker and Siaxx had no respect for those who didn't come to her about their issues, but instead they really shafted Rachael and now she herself was angry about it, while she herself wanted Saki punished, this was far too extreme and Siaxx herself had backed down from her demands on the matter.
Lieutenant Tressa Riken regarded her commanding officer. "What about this guy... Ensign Martin Jelman. The computer places him in the area in question." the young human female responded.
"Add him to the list of personnel we're putting up for reassignment," Dvald-Sullivan answered softly. "I am done dealing with threats to my ship or my person," she added a moment later in a rather dark tone of voice.
B'onaq regarded Siaxx in silence. The Klingon woman admired the small Bolian female's tenacity and raw ferociousness but she knew that the skipper was severely outclassed by some of what she wished to do here with these dozen or so people this day. "What would you say about them?"
"Of these seven, two are being promoted and are getting reassigned anyway, the rest I'm getting rid off for various reasons... In short its open season... Captain Vakar and Zuko both know who it is.." The small Bolian female shrugged her shoulders. "Neither of them will tell me so... I'm going to do it my way.. I will get the bastard. One way or the other." this was the first time Siaxx had referred to Zuko by name and not by rank, something had happened there and it wasn't good either.
Riken found she had no good argument for the skippers statement. "Sir. I recommend taking a moment before you put these seven up for reassignment, you could be punishing all for the sake of one."
"I was thinking about that... Five are being reassigned, two are being promoted but simply put, they are being reassigned because I want rid of them." Siaxx responded simply. "Neither Commodore Tane or Zuko can dictate otherwise. I can listen to them but.. Since I am an attachment to the battlegroup, I don't have to do a fucking thing they tell me... I'm not in their chain of command.." this was the second time Siaxx had referred to Zuko by name and not by rank, clearly, she was underlining a point here.
"Your serious..." Riken responded softly. "Wow... remind me to never make you angry.."
"You have never once threatened me.." Dvald-Sullivan responded.
"Siaxx.. Its never wise to make an enemy when none need exist.." B'onaq responded softly.
"Zuko threatened me, whats more is that he threatened my career... The last guy to try that ended up dead... and he very nearly destroyed me right along wit it." Dvald-Sullivan explained. "I will not let that happen ever again... "
B'onaq nodded. "I'll have paperwork drawn up before I go off watch later for you."
Riken smiled. "I'll stick in a request for seven new people, to replace these guys.."
"Alright.. Thats all guys.. Thanks." as the other two women rose to their feet and departed the office. Zuko's words returned to haunt her. "If either of you talk out of line again, expect chapter paperwork to be coming your way. Now, do I have your undivided attention, or should I just have you both kicked out of the fleet right now." as Siaxx lifted the PADD she had turned over when the meeting had started over an hour earlier. It was a transfer request for any assignment outside of Roanoke' Squadron. With that sh tapped the 'SEND' button.
Her fate was set and her choice was now made, she could not unmake it even if she wished to do so, with that done. Siaxx went back to work on her other issues.
