Mission:
Mission 67: In The Service of Life and the Living
Location: Rohr's Quarters - USS Argonne
Timeline: 1700Hrs - March 2nd, 2392
Commander Celeste McKnight was wearing the suit of Hazard armor she had never seemed to have gotten around to turn in to the guys in security as it was splattered with soot and ash, she looked like she had been through a warzone, she also stank of burnt metal which wafted after her, in her hands she carried a decent sized box about a foot square.
She smiled as she reached her destination. She tapped the doorchime.
"Come in!" Daisy replied.
The door opened as Celeste touched the door release toggle which was level with her waist. "Hello Major... I have been going through my backlog and I came across your request..." as she entered Rohr-McKnights office, case in hand before she placed it onto the desk. "This... is for you.... and Your money you paid for it.. is in there too.. a refund for your long wait." Yamaguchi explained.
"Oh, thank you." Daisy replied, almost smirking. "Come on in."
Yamaguchi gently placed the crate onto the table. "I had to go looking for the design in use.." she explained.
"I forgot about those." Daisy indicated the crate on the table. "Now I have a little one so these are probably going straight into storage for now. I would like to examine them though."
Yamaguchi nodded. "Of course. Go ahead and open it. I would be concerned if you didn't"
Daisy opened the crate. "Oh those do like nice!" She stated as she saw the armor. She pulled out the helmet and closely examined it.
Celeste sat in the chair as she waited for the verdict on her work, this was the hardest part of any job.
"This is very impressive." Daisy told her. "It actually came out better than I thought. You are a true craftsmen."
"I'm Sorry it took so long to get to you." Celeste responded. "Thats why I gave you a refund.. I didn't want you thinking that you paid for something and never got it." the large woman added for clarification.
"Don't worry about that Celeste." Daisy told her. "You did good work." Daisy smelled burnt metal in the air. "Did you just come right from the forge?"
"I did." Celeste responded. "I finished this yesterday.. I was just finishing that warglave for Orthos, you recall that large spear he wanted..?" she inquired.
Daisy almost grimaced when she recalled the spear. "Nice work. I'm just going to have to put that up where small hands cannot reach it."
Celeste nodded. "You may have to remind your husband about that little detail.." she commented.
Daisy smiled at Celeste. "I'm sure he knows. He has raised more children than me. I'm sure when he placed the order raising more children were the farthest thing from his mind."
"Fair enough." Celeste responded. "I can have it shipped directly to him, if you prefer.."
"If you have them now, I'll take it." Daisy told Celeste. "No need to trouble yourself."
Celeste nodded. "The paint and acid should be done in about two hours time... Then I can check it for quality purposes, if.. its finished and up to my standards then I'll give it to you then... If not then it'll probably be tomorrow.."
