Mission: Mission 67: In The Service of Life and the Living
Location: Various Locations - USS Courageous
Timeline: 0830Hrs - March 1st, 2392

Newly promoted Captain Vasily Borodin beamed onto the Courageous, he found himself face to face with Commander Javier Morales. "Permission to come aboard sir?"

"Granted Captain, welcome aboard."

"Thanks. I'm here to finish passing along a few things to Lt Commander Sh'Andoo before I depart the battlegroup."

"Ahh.. So you are leaving and its not a rumor then?." Morales inquired.

"No." Borodin sighed. "I wish it were because I was happy here... But there is a plus in it for me. I get to work with my wife again... Who'm I've missed..."

"Well I know what thats like." Morales smiled. "My wife is Chief Medical Officer aboard this ship."

Borodin nodded his head. "Fair enough." However he knew all of this already but he didn't wish to be an ass on the subject. "Any ideas where I can find Ms Sh'Andoo?"

"She's in her office." Morales responded. "Deck Three, section five. I can show you the way..."

"No need to trouble yourself. The walk will do me some good. Thank you though." Borodin responded before he turned and went out of the transporter room.

Morales nodded before he turned and went back to the bridge.

Meanwhile Borodin came to the end of the hallway before he entered a turbolift, he gave his destination then the lift sped to its destination. He exited the lift as the doors opened, he reached his destination a short time later with announcing himself at the Andorian officers door.

Pava Sh'Ando regarded her superior as he walked into her office. "Captain Borodin." she greeted him as it was the time he was expected before he departed.

"What can I do for you?" the Shen inquired.

"I came to give you a few last minute things. As you are now the new Commander of Intelligence for the battlegroup. I'm turning this all over to you. I'll send a few more assets to you as I expect your position will become somewhat more work heavy then it was with me. If you need more people then let me know."

"Thank you Captain. I'll do that." the Shen responded. "Considering the Akurians seem to be gearing up to relieve the Klingons of several billion slaves if the numbers are to be believed."

"Yes. the Akurians seem to regard slavery as a taboo and its an anathema to them." Borodin responded. "Which considering that the Ferasians are by default-Federation citizens because they are Caitians from a lost colony. Which means we are involved even if the Federation council decided to not get involved."

"Yes. They chose to get involved in the most foolish manner possible with economic sanctions and the like. It doesn't get us what we want and it doesn't help them either."

Sh'Ando nodded her head. "I will handle things on this end of course sir... Is there anything special I should watch for.?"

"Yes. We should prepare to deal with increased terrorisem threats to the Federation and the various starships, starbases and colonies in this region." Borodin explained. "I'm going to send you twenty personel from Watchman. Use them please."

"I will do so sir."

Borodin smiled. "Alright, then I'll say no more and get out of here... I got places to go and so do you." and with that he turned and made his departure without anything further.
