| General Overview | Vasily Borodin is the guy one generally doesn't want to screw with simply because that attracted his attention half the time is unwise and the other half of the time can be quite dangerous. He's not a big fan of martial arts but he has a taste for iron in the gym so rather then go for the fancy flashy moves, he'll simply go for his phaser and blast the other guy. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Vasily Borodin is rather laid back and generally easy to get along with. He however has no qualms with breaking the rules to get done whatever needs to get done. He is also not your atypical intelligence Chief in that he will attempt to work with others rather then play secrets and games. Weaknesses: He tends to get a little too rowdy at times. Has had a few reprimands because of it. Also he isn't a good guy to talk about Politics with as it angers him. |

| Personal History | Vasily Borodin was born in 2335 to Ivan and Maria Borodin on Alpha Centauri, in the city of New Leningrad to be more specific, he joined his brother Valentin and Grigory and the three grew up together as happy children. When the time came, The three brothers all enlisted in Starfleet one after the other, into security and intelligence. So off he went to ROTC training, and three months later he was assigned to the USS Bedouin, one of the of the Sabre Class ships, across his career he showed an aptitude for intelligence work in addition to his security duties. His assignments listed in alphabetical order are as follows. Ashanti, Bedouin, Cossack, Eskimo, Gurkha, Iroquois, Maori, Mashona, Matabele, Mohawk, Somali, Starbase 12, Starbase Lya Station Alpha and Tolstoy. All various smaller Federation ships of various types, the exceptions was the USS Canterbury and the USS Roanoke, his present assignment Borodin earned a few promotions and a commission, he also fought in several wars, against the Tholians, a second against the Cardassians, the third was against the Klingons, the fourth was against the Dominion and he was present for all three Borg Attacks. In all that time, he found the time to find someone, marry them and start a family with them. he misses his family and he values contact with them more then anything else. In late June of 2391, he was present for the wedding between Siaxx and Phoenix but in early July of 2391, he was present for the beating of Elizabeth Yamaguchi at the hands of Tienn Iteela. Borodin decided to start looking into the drugs issues this ship was facing as he noticed something in the situation which popped out at him, he then decided to go and see John Sheridan in security and coordinate his efforts with him. In the end however it efforts paid off as the security staff, alongside the Marines and the Intelligence guys were able to deal with the drug ring once and for all. However they were unprepared for the hanger deck fire and after assisting with damage control, he settled in to investigate the matter alongside his opposite numbers from security, assisting them as needed. |
