Mission: Mission 65: And Death Rained Down
Location: Council Chambers - Kronos, OMEGA LEONIS
Timeline: 0900Hrs - February 24th, 2392

Wohovi grinned as she emerged into the main high council chamber where she was met with shouts of acclaim from some and denouncements from others. "You've led us into an unwinnable war-" and "you are insane.. you've started an endless civil war woman!" were others from various members of the High Council.

"Say what you will... I have slain one of the pretenders." Wohavi raised her voice as she shouted over the echoing din or the arguments back and forth like a flood of fast rushing water over a waterfall that slowly faded away.

"Now.. I declare that an act of Attainder be passed against the two remaining pretenders.. I am the Chancellor of this august body and I will remain so.!" Wohavi shouted loudly.

"Until someone challenges you and actually defeats you!" came the response.

"Who said that!" Wohavi demanded. "Speak!."

Makar stepped forward. "I said my comment Wohavi. You are utterly mad for bringing war to these halls again when we can ill afford the adventure." he regarded her.

"Do you dispute my rule.."

"Not at this time Chancellor. However should you keep leading us into wars we should not be fighting... Then that could change."

"You talk like a human."

"Amusing Chancellor. Now.. you were raging about acts of Attainder."

"Yes... L'heki, son of Grarshack and Tethi, daughter of Sumpack... They have led us into a ruinous civil war.. Dozens of ships lost and several bases too. This cannot stand..." Wohavi growled. "I declare them as traitors to the empire, their lands and holdings to be seized and given to the council to dispersed as they see fit... The houses involved will all be put to the sword and everyone will be slain... the stench of dishonor has gone far enough."

There was silence as the astonishment among the various members of the council couldn't believe what they were hearing. "You mean to call for the heads of every Klingon in every house opposed to you?"

"I do... Yes.. and the Klingon Defense Force will deliver them..."

Various members of the Council were even more shocked, the KDF were to remain outside of all house level disputes as they were there to solely defend the Empire from all outside threats, not from the internal ones. "You realize that the KDF will not condone this."

"I do not care what they condone... so long as they carry out my demands." Wohavi responded. "I am in command now and it will be as I say dammit!" she roared. "Either you will obey me or I'll find another of your house who will."

Just like that, it was done. Soon it was hoped that order with reign from this point out but Makar knew that only fear was being served here and that fear wounds and created disorder. This also caused more problems then it resolved.

Wohavi remained seated as an aide past to her a data slate indicating the names of various houses to be purged. She smiled as she took the data slate as she read it slowly and carefully.

"Yes.. Every.. single... last one of them.. Kill them all... and seize their property and lands..." as she signed the order herself, then she handed the data slate back to the aide. "Oh and let them know whats going on and why... We don't want them to die for nothing..." as a rather evil smile appeared on her face, as she mentally turned to other matters of state.

The aide. Ch'garn sighed softly as he went over to the master at arms who was nearby. "Pass the word to General Vinrook. Yeah.. its as we feared.. She wants a full act of attainder passed against these two dozen or so houses.."

The master at arms nodded. "Very well... clearly our Chancellor wants a good slaughter.." as he accepted the data slate and contacted the general in question.

The generals face appeared on the screen a moment later. "What do you want?" he wanted without preamble.

"The Chancellor wants you to lead your troops against two dozen or so houses who are engaged in treasonous activities against the empire." the advisor explained. "They are called-" he then named off all of the houses."

"Why is the defense force being dragged into a house level civil war..?" Vrinook responded. "I have better things to do.."

"Because it is an order from your Chancellor and you are duty bound to obey her General." Ch'garn responded a trifle hotly.

"Do not speak to me like that... you impudent speck or I will come down there and I will fucking kill you in full view of that psychotic bitch."

"She will simply extend the attainder to cover you as well."

"This is a black matter for the Chancellor and the troops she will lead to this ... slaughter." he sighed softly. "No honor will be had with this... only dishonor and shame... You shame me by making me a part of this... Know this.. for you're affront to me.. I will personaly kill you for this disgrace..." and with that he hung up.

The Master at arms only snickered. "Heh... Well he'll do it... I don't think he will like it.. but he'll do it."

"He had better..." Ch'garn sighed. "The Chancellor is a fool for this course of action... Now the enemies have no choice but to fight."
