Mission: Mission 61: The Blood-Dimmed Tide
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1200Hrs - January 28th 2392

Teval went through his messages on Roanoke when he finally got the message he was looking for. The confirmation message from his old friend, Kurso Teska. tapping his combadge he asked. "Teval to Plataea Yamaguchi and Seykai, can you two come to my office please."

Plataea Unal received the message, tapping her combadge. "I'm on my way." before setting off from her guest quarters and heading to her destination.

She knocked and was bade permission to enter. "You wanted to see me Teval?" she inquired. "Does this have something to do with recent events?" she sounded almost eager.

Teval nodded," Yes it does. I have a job for you, if you want to take it. That is up to you and i wont think any less of you if you decline."

"I've been sitting on my ass for the last month not doing anything." Plataea responded. "What do you have for me?"

Teval handed Plataea a PADD. "Well, we are about to go deal with this Klingon slavery issue, and we need you to be the eyes and ears of the taskgroup that goes in. You will be commanding the Dusk, while someone else will be your wingman in the Nightstalker. You will meet with these mercenaries mentioned in the PADD, they will be in a Romulan Mogai class warbird they appropriated. Aboard the Dusk, the Mogai and the Nightstalker will be cargo holds filled with self replicating cloaking mines and cloaking sensor satellites. Saykai you will be there to try and hack into Klingon comm's for further intel."

Plataea quickly memorized the information before her. "When do I leave?" she inquired.

"As soon as you are ready," Teval answered. "And as soon as I find out who is willing to drive the Nightstalker."

"I can be ready in ten minutes." Plataea responded quietly, she couldn't help with the issue of the Nightstalker and who would command her so she kept her silence.

Teval finally made up his mind, this time he tapped his combadge and called in Luhanna Wintersnow. "Luhanna can you come to my ready room."

Several minutes later the door opened and in came the Dranaei female, she peered down at Teval as she seemed to be permanently cheerful. "You called me?, oh fearless leader?" she inquired as she pointed to the replicator.

Suddenly a drink appeared before it floated of its own violation to her outstretched hand, she then pulled a mouthful of the drink in question.

Teval looked at her, saying," I need you for a mission, if you are willing to take it."

Luhanna regarded him. "Mmm... What can I help you with?" she inquired. "Do I get out of the office?"

Teval nodded. "yeah, needless to say, this mission is not exactly official, since you will be using the nightstalker for this."

Wintersnow grinned as she looked down at him. "Very well... tell me more of what you wish for me to do?" she inquired.

Plataea Unal thought the being before her was highly exotic in terms of looks but she found herself liking this woman for her pleasant personality more then anything else.

Teval handed her a PADD with the mission details," You will be going with trusted people on the Nightstalker, and your going to be Plataea's wingman while she is in the Dusk. Both of you are going to join the Akurians in their efforts to liberate the Ferasians, and with you will be a group of mercenaries in a Mogai class warbird. The primary tool of your three warships will be self replicating cloaked mines and Sensor/jammer satellites. You will both be meeting up with Nevanzi to go over the more specific details on this mission. This is not a starfleet sanctioned mission, so if you don't want the job, you don't have to take it."

Luhanna smiled. "Sounds great. I assume we leave immediately?" she inquired as she gave him an impish smile. "I personalty find that Starfleet has such a narrow mind on many things.."

Teval nodded. "Pretty much, first you will meet with Nevanzi in two days though, to go over his war plans."

Plataea nodded her head. "Sounds good." she explained. "I'll be there.." she added. Luhanna shifted his attention from Plataea to Teval. "We'll both be there."

Teval nodded," Alright, well I have nothing further for you two, you both are good to go."

Wintersnow smiled. "Okay. sounds lovely." and with that, she turned and departed. "Is she always... so lively?" Plataea inquired after Wintersnow had departed.
