Mission: Mission 52: The Astral Winds
Location: Various Locations - USS Courageous
Timeline: 0800Hrs - December 1st, 2391

Captain Torilla Yamaguchi regarded the dozen or so cadets before her, all were standing at rigid attention, standing smartly in two rows of six while she and their cadet commander, Lieutenant Dwayne Rodriquez inspected them.

Harrison had assumed that as he knew Torilla from her time on Starbase 400 that she would go easy on him he had found on on the first day that this wasn't going to be the case as she looked permanently pissed off around him.

Harrison had also quickly found out that Torilla was merciless to cadets in general. Even Jake Mayweather who was a forth year cadet, getting set to graduate shortly was even getting his own fair share of grilling and inspections, same as everyone else.

Harrison suspected something was going on as he noticed Torilla coming to a stop before him, he mentaly thought. 'Wow... she's hot.. I wonder what she would be like in bed..' he blinked as Yamaguchi heard his thoughts while he thought them.

However she chose not to question his mindset while he mentaly undressed her with his mind. "Your boots are scuffed." she said simply. "Also. Your rank pip is not shined and your shirt is dirty." Yamaguchi said softly. "From now on, you will sow up in proper uniform."

Yamaguchi turned and moved on before rejoining the cadet troop leader at the head of the two lines, he nodded to her. "That about covers the inspection ma'am." he said respectfully, knowing fully well that to anger Captain Yamaguchi would be to have him and the rest of his cadet troop returned to the academy with a failing grade. This would affect them for the rest of the careers as it would delay or even cancel promotions, thus dragging out assignments that would end sooner into longer assignments that would also slow their careers.

Yamaguchi nodded as she held out her hand, clearly she wanted the PADD. He handed it to her without hesitation.

Yamaguchi glanced at the PADD. "Alright.. Here are your work details for this week... Ms Saalm, I'm assigning you to medical, help the medics out and make yourself useful. Master Chief McKnight speaks of you wish such glowing terms that I had to wonder if he was on something... I expect your work to continue. On your way."

Saalm nodded her head. "Yessir." she responded before she turned and walked out the door. "Mister Mayweather. I'm going to change your assignment since you've been in Operations for the last little while. Jiao likes yopu... so I'm going to reassign you to Engineering. Do try to get along with the gentle snowflakes you'll find and try not to anger Commander Falannar. Out with you."

Mayweather nodded. "Yessir." and with that he fled.

The other half dozen assignments were dished out as Harrison waited patiently for his turn, eventually his turn came up. "Mister Harrison." Yamaguchi made the term sound like a curse or an insult more then anything else as she addressed him.

"You are being reassigned to Counseling."

"Is this because of that incident with... whatshername, a few days ago." Harrison demanded, he finally blew a fuse as he felt that Yamaguchi had been slighting him and his fellow cadets ever since they came aboard. "You've been treating us like shit, ever since we got here and Its getting old Torilla."

"Watch your mouth cadet.." Lieutenant Dwayne Rodriquez snapped at him.

Yamaguchi peered at him as she slowly blinked her eyes, mentaly she seethed with endless rage. "How dare you.." she hissed quietly.

"But its true... You're laying into all of us because of that punk kid.."

"That... punk kid... is my grand daughter.." Yamaguchi responded softly as the cadet leader behind her wanted to flee and hide. "You ever call my credibility into question again young man... I will have your head." she said quietly then she raised her voice until she was screaming at him. "IS THAT CLEAR!"

"Yessir!" Harrison responded.

The cadet troop leader face-palmed, he was sure that this tour was going to end in disaster. "Harrison. You're an idiot.. You just don't get it... do you.." he turned. "Captain I'd like to talk to you at your convenience if thats permitted."

"We can discuss your matter now Lieutenant. Mister Harrison. You know where you are supposed to be... Now Get OUT!" Yamaguchi snapped at him.

Harrison fled Yamaguchi's wrath. Torilla closed her eyes as she felt her rage begin to cool, she took a few moments to breathe in and then out as she calmed down before turning to the Lieutenant. "What is it Lieutenant?"

"Sir.. I'd like to request that you not send my entire troop back to the academy in disgrace for the actions and word spoken of Mister Harrison."

"Your other cadets are going to make fine officers Lieutenant." Yamaguchi responded. "Nesh Saalm has impressed Master Chief McKnight and that is no easy feat." she explained. "Jake Mayweather would make a fine Doctor if he wasn't so damned instant on being an Operations Officer... Diane Glover will make an outstanding Tactical officer, provided she can reign in her temper somewhat." Yamaguchi explained. "Paul Harrison however. I have my concerns with him... As you have seen."

"I see what you mean sir." Lieutenant Dwayne Rodriquez responded. "I promise you, that will not happen again."

"Do not trouble yourself with the misdeeds of others Lieutenant, so Mister Harrison's punishment will take other forms..." she paused. "I'm going to assign him to clean up after all special events and functions on this ship in addition to the other personnel already assigned to it."

"I understand sir... You don't want me to discipline him?"

"I will not presume to stand here and tell you how you do your job Lieutenant. Do not let me interfere with things."

"Of course sir. My apologies." Rodriquez responded evenly.

"None needed Lieutenant." Yamaguchi responded. "Anything else we need to discuss?"

"Nope. thats it."

"Alright, on your way then." and with that the two of them. Captain Torilla Yamaguchi and Lieutenant Dwayne Rodriquez parted company.
