Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard

Commander Autumn Yamaguchi sighed softly, she knew her mother and father were both aboard the Starbase and she knew that today would be a day long remembered by all involved, Ajal was out running an errand as Autumn sat in a chair wearing only a pair of shorts, she was topless as she gently nursed her child in her arms. Kul was not being overly demanding of her today which was something she was happy about. Kassin was asleep and so was Noq't. The door opened which interrupted Autumn's thought process as Ajal entered her home. "Hey Autumn, Kul is hungry I take it?"

"Yeah, then he'll want his diaper changed," Autumn answered. "So goes the chain of ascension."

Ajal nodded as she gently brought over Autumn's clothing for her, she knew that Autumn's parents were on the Starbase and would be dropping by at any time. Autumn sighed softly as her son finished feeding off of his mother and Autumn gently handed him off to Ajal. "Let me get dressed before he needs changing."

"Okay." the Klingon female answered evenly. Autumn proceeded to begin donning her clothing as she sighed softly. "You look worried. What's wrong?" Autumn inquired of Ajal.

"Your parents. Will they accept me?" Ajal admitted, she sounded unsure of the matter.

"Why would they not accept you?." Autumn responded evenly. "Besides, I'm the one you married, not them, what does it matter really?" the small human female responded evenly. "You are my mate and the mother to two of our three children, honestly Ajal it does not matter."

"That is easy for you to say, Autumn, You are one the one who is without family," Ajal explained. "I am a Klingon, raised in the empire who is alone."

Autumn regarded her spouse in silence for a moment, only now did she see Autumn's point of view. "I see your point." she paused. "Well, we'll find out-" she stopped as the doorbell rang at the two of them, she slowly turned her head to regard the door. "I'll get it." she hopped to her feet before she moved to answer the door, as expected it was Captain Coral Antilles and her husband, Lee Antilles.

Lee smiled as he regarded his eldest, and without warning, he picked her up as he hugged her. "Autumn, its great to see you," Lee commented before he set his daughter back down on her feet again.

Coral was more restrained but she gave her daughter a hug. "Hey honey," she commented.

"Hey, guys. Come on in." Autumn commented, she was expecting to be mobbed, it showed too as Coral and Lee followed their eldest child into her home, both spotted a Klingon female instantly with a small infant in her arms. "Hello." Lee addressed the Klingon female.

"Hello Captain, Colonel." Ajal addressed Coral and Lee respectively. "Welcome to our home."

"Its good to be here," Lee answered with a smile. "Even if we are six years late to the party."

Coral smiled as she gently hugged her daughter. "Autumn, it's so good to see you again... You've changed." as she gently touched the large statuette located in the center of the coffee table in the center of the main sitting area, it was designed to be a centerpiece for the living space. It was a scene of Khaless the Unforgettable fighting the evil tyrant Molor the hated in their climactic battle for the fate and the future of the Klingon species.

Autumn regarded her mother. "Not all for the better mom. Its been a long road that's brought me to Starbase Vanguards doorstep." she commented. "Mom, Dad, meet my wife, Ajal and in her arms is Kul, one of our three children."

"Greetings," Ajal answered formally.

"Ajal, your family," Coral commented with a smile. "I had heard of you from before we fought the pirates," she explained.

"It was your loss that brought Autumn and me together, that and what happened with R'Merah. But, that in itself is a very long story."

Autumn nodded. "He and I got into a major fight, he as a poor loser and so he raped me, I very nearly killed him for it."

Lee bristled as Coral regarded her daughter, it was a long time ago but there were some things that never truly healed and some scars and wounds that went too deep. "I assume all of this was on the Klingon assignment?"

"It was. R'Merah got his comeuppance later on. He followed me and Noq't into Starfleet, he is the Executive Officer on the Coral Sea but if you ever meet him, he's not what you'd expect." Autumn commented with a smile. "He's a pacifistic Klingon."

"A what Klingon?" Lee inquired. "That's almost a contradiction in terms."

"It is. Noq't is really something special." Autumn explained as Ajal gently handed the small infant to her mother. "I think he is eager to meet his grandparents."

Autumn smiled as she gently received her son from her spouse. "Mom met Kul Yamaguchi." before she handed him off to her mother. Coral smiled as she regarded Kul as she gently heled him in her arms. "Hi sweetie." she gushed over her grandson.

Lee smiled. "He has your eyes."

"And your jawline Dad," Autumn commented with a light tone of voice. "Kassin, Noq't, and Kul all share the same father but different mothers," Autumn added. What she left unsaid was that she was unsure if it was an issue to be sorted out.

"It matters not," Lee answered with a smile. "Your children are still our grandchildren. The only thing that will change is that we... are back." as he gave Autumn a rather sinister grin.

"You have missed a lot, Dad," Autumn commented.

"We know, and we're Sorry for not being present."

"That's okay, I should have known you two would come back somehow."

There was a sudden sound of crying, an infant demanding attention and a moment later, the second one did likewise. Ajal rose to her feet. "I'll see to them."

Autumn sighed. "That's the twins wanting attention." this was the first words she had said in over ten minutes

Coral nodded. "Let me help you." as she gently handed Kul back to his mother. "is he tired?"

"Yeah, Let me go put him down for a nap," Autumn responded as Coral moved into the next room to assist Ajal with the caring and raising of her own children. "Its good to meet you at last Ajal. Coral told us of you."

"The relationship Autumn and I share was something of a surprise to the both of us, I walked away from my family for her."

"I know how Klingon traditions work. We will give you a new one, you and the father of your children. Though knowing my family, I suspect that they are already doing just that."

"Your family is helping, I correspond with many of them often, though I often joke that its a full-time job communicating with them," Ajal explained with a smile while she gently handed Kassin off to Coral who smiled. "Hi little one." she addressed the small child in her arms while Ajal checked over Noq't.

"She needs changing." Coral smiled. "Let's see if I recall how this is done," she added as a joke. "She's beautiful."
