Elizabeth Yamaguchi went down the hallway as she was seeking her next target, she reached the corner as she turned left, moving quickly as her long legs ate the space between her and her target.

Elizabeth smiled as she reached her destination as she tapped the panel at her left hand, she settled into wait for being let in, then she jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder, she threw an elbow backwards, before taking a step back while turning to face her attacker, while taking a second swing at her attacker.

Lasky blocked her first jab before he effortlessly deflected her second attack as he sighed. "Easy Beth... Its just me.." he sighed softly. "I mean you no harm."

"You shouldn't sneak up on me, what are you thinking?" Elizabeth inquired. "Sneaking up on a pregnant woman..."

Lasky regarded her. "Elizabeth... you're six foot tall and you're also quite powerful with your skills... and you are capable.." he regarded her. "When you feel up to it... I can hone your skills further.. Let you turn your skills into an artform.... if you wish."

Elizabeth regarded the guy before her, a measure of suspicion on her face. "Why...?"

"Its simple..." Lasky responded quietly. "Because I owe you... and while our relationship is complicated... one could argue that you and I would end up killing each other.. considering we both have had issues with the other person involved.."

"I didn't mind rape Zara Tane... " Elizabeth hissed angrily. "You tried to kill my mother..."

"Yes I did." Lasky nodded as he freely admitted his guilt. "But... we do not need to have this conversation in the hallway....Some would talk about it." as he regarded her, there was something about Elizabeth that always made him smile but he had no idea what it was.

"Yes.." Elizabeth responded "So... where?"

"The Lounge?" Lasky inquired, knowing she would reject it.

"No... This is not for the likes of the rabble that populate your crew.." Elizabeth glanced around. "No.... Here... your place.." she indicated the door with her left hand as she spoke.

"Do you want your husband present for this?" Lasky inquired for it was him being respectful to Kameron.

"No... My husband is my husband, not my shadow... this is for you and me, to sort out... alone.." Elizabeth slowly blinked as she explained herself.

"I see... Very well m'lady." Lasky reached past her as he tapped the door release. "Then after you." he permitted her to go first.

Elizabeth turned and entered his home, she could see that he had already settled into his new home which would have been her mothers quarters had Torilla remained aboard the Roanoke, the size was right and so was the cold, it was something that she considered uniquely him.

Shadow regarded her as she peered at Elizabeth before greeting her with a loud meow, before the cat got up and came over to her.

Elizabeth grinned as she moved forward, she reached down and gently picked up the cat who regarded her "Hey kitty... miss me?". The cat meowed at her. "So... Tom... We must talk..." Elizabeth said quietly as she gently petted Shadow who was already purring at her before she gently kissed Shadow on the tip of her nose. The cat meowed loudly in response.

"Yes... We must.." Lasky responded. "Can I get you something to drink?" he inquired.

"Please... But I'm on duty, I'm just taking an extended break."

"Very well." Lasky went over to the replicator and ordered two drinks. "Two glasses of Orange punch, nice and cold..." he paused. "Hows your aunt doing?" he inquired.

Elizabeth accepted the glass as she regarded the man before her.
"Aunt Celeste is alright.... No thanks to her attacker.. She's recently found out that she's pregnant..." Shadow then gently placed Shadow back on the sofa before she gently ran her fingers over the cats soft fur.

"Ahh." Lasky sighed softly. "I'm Sorry..."

"Don't be... The misdeed is not yours, neither is the blame of it.." Elizabeth smiled at him. "Celeste thinks of herself as an Andorian would.... rather then a human because she is raising two Andorian children... So she regards it as someone who used her to get to her girlfriend... and I agree with her." Elizabeth turned her attention to Shadow before she gently set the cat down on the sofa as Elizabeth sat down, the cat climbed into her lap as she made herself comfortable.

"It makes sense... and I can see why she would think that." Lasky paused. "What will she do... with her pregnancy I mean.?" he inquired. "Shadow definitely likes you."

"She'll carry the baby to term, just to spite his memory..." Elizabeth smiled. "I've been helping her with recent events..." her smile grew into a rather evil looking grin. "Then she'll raise the baby as her child... besides, if she doesn't want it... then I'll take it and raise him as my own... either way... the baby is covered."

"Good..." Lasky responded. "Its not the fault of the child that its father is a piece of shit.. and you... you deserve to be a mother... you've wanted it for a long time..."

"I do yes.... I want a family of my own... my own children.. and now that Kameron is out of Starfighters, I no longer need to worry about it... Whether or not he'll come back from a mission.... It kept me up at night.." she paused a moment as she wondered if it was a good idea to say all of this.

"Kameron had a skill in the cockpit.. But I'm glad he's found his way... He was my finest student and I wish things were better between us." Lasky responded.

"Give him time to calm down and to adjust to recent events. He worries about you and me... because he knows that I have to give you this baby... Thats whats pissing him off..."

"Elizabeth... you owe me nothing... its your baby.." Lasky responded.

"No... Its not 'my' baby. This baby is yours and my mothers.... " Elizabeth paused as she gently placed her left hand over her abdomen where the baby was developing. "The law says that-"

"I don't give a rats ass what the law says... As far as I'm concerned... you have the final say on the matter." Lasky regarded her. "Elizabeth.... You've been gone for two months... I did not expect you to return in all honesty." Lasky added quietly

"Now, Tom, you know me better then that... " Elizabeth gently chided him but she knew he meant well. "You have done everything I demanded of you in regards to this baby.... Are you sure you do not wish to know the gender?" she had checked earlier that day and she was still adjusting to the baby as 'he' rather then 'it'.

"I will admit... I am curious..." Lasky admitted. "But... I did not ask... because it is not my place..."

Elizabeth sipped her drink while she considered her response. "Not your place?" she inquired, sounding like she didn't believe him. "Tom, a father has every right to know his son..." she responded quietly. "This baby is a boy."

"A Son...?" Lasky sounded like he didn't believe her.

"Yes.." Elizabeth responded. "I am carrying 'YOUR' son.." she added the last part quite deliberatly to hammer the point home.

"I didn't.. I wasn't.. I ... uhh..." Lasky paused.

"Everything I have done... Has been from my duty... Oaths were made and oaths were kept.. Even by those who did not wish it so.... My Mother couldn't bring this one to term. Considering what happened with the twins..... So I sacrificed for this... to ensure her oath would be kept and top ensure your son lived... He might have been an accident to you and mom but to me, this was no accident..."

"I have no right to ask anything of you, Elizabeth of House Yamaguchi.. But I-"

"You do not ask anything of me that I have not already consented to." Elizabeth then drained the glass of the drink within in one smooth swallow. "Mmm... your replicator makes good drink..." she added with a soft smile.

"What of your husband?" Lasky inquired softly.

"This matter does not concern him." Elizabeth responded as if that was the end of it all. "He knows that I will give you this child when the time comes.. and when he comes into the world. you will name him, that is a right I am not permitted.."

"I disagree... We should both choose his name... Afterall. A boy will become a man and a man needs a name."

"Yes.. He does... so... what do you think?" she inquired. "Anthony?"

"A good name.. whats your grandfathers name?"

"Whats yours?" She answered his question with her own question. Elizabeth saw where this was going and she wasn't prepared to accept this honor as she nor any of her kin had this right.. "Kurt.." he responded a moment later after taking a moment to ponder it.

"Kurt Lasky.." Elizabeth responded before she smiled. "Mmm... He kicking me. Here... feel." as she gently took his hand and pressed it to her abdomen where he could feel the child kicking.

Lasky gently placed his hand, on her abdomen, he felt the gentle and feeble kicks of the child, sleeping in Elizabeth's womb, waiting to be born.

Elizabeth quickly understood that this was a bigger moment for him then she realized.

"My son..." Lasky's eyes grew wide with unshed tears as Elizabeth gently enfolded her arms around his shoulders, drawing him to her in a gentle embrace as there was nothing more that needed to be said as she gently held him in a hug. "I want you there when he comes into the world..." Elizabeth said into his ear. "That is a fathers right and I will not deny you."

"I... I don't know what to say."

"Say nothing and... enjoy this moment... For you have the right to know your son...before he comes into this world..." Elizabeth smiled at him.

"Would you consent to being his godmother... should anything happen to me... he'll go to you."

"I would be honored... and should the worse happen... I will see to it that your line continues..." Elizabeth commented. "But you are not going to die on me Thomas Lasky... Not gonna happen... You wouldn't give the devil the pleasure."
