Mission: Mission 40: Thirty Pieces of Silver
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1400Hrs - August 6th, 2391

Chief Petty Officer Toshnarr's armor had only just started to thicken out as he carried a bag in his massive hand. "Hey... you gonna be alright?" as he dropped the bad besides his massive foot as he regarded the much smaller Andorian Shen next to him.

"I'll be fine big guy." Ryi told Toshnarr. "I'm worried you won't return to the Roanoke."

"I will be back... You won't be rid of me so easily.." he paused. "I will miss you however but I've put this class off too long already and I also have familial matters to attend to on the starbase."

"Familial matters?" Ryi asked out loud. "Do you mean you have members of your family on the Star Base?"

"I do actually. yes." Toshnarr responded quietly. "It is long and complicated." he paused. "My mate wants more offspring.."

Ryi was a little taken aback. "I didn't know you had a wife and children Toshanrr." Ryi stated with a little disappointment in her voice. "It must be hard to be separated from them."

Toshnarr spotted her statement and why she made it. "Ryi... Reptilian species generally don't bond together all that strongly. So.. while she is my mate and the mother to my children... I am not bonded to her the way the way the Commander is to the Admiral... I don't allow my feelings on the matter to cloud my judgement." he paused. "My children do miss their father but... they will endure and survive. they also thrive... far more so in the Federation then they would in the misbegotten backwater of the Gorn Hegemony."

Ryi was surprised again by Toshnarr's description of his own species. "Thank you for clarifying that. You must look forward to seeing your offspring."

"I do...Would you protest if I named one of them after you?" Toshnarr inquired.

Ryi let out an uncontrollable giggle. "No, I wouldn't mind at all."

"Alright then." Toshnarr responded with a smile. "Know that you will be missed Ryi Amlari."

"We'll miss you on the Roanoke, especially me." Ryi told the large Gorn.

Toshnarr gently gave the smaller Andorian a hug but it was awkward as she was so much smaller then she was. "Take good care of yourself Ryi..." as he gently picked up his bag before he went over to the pad. "I will be back soon Ryi." he paused. "Energize Chief."

Froststorm waved at Toshnarr as he beamed off the ship.
