Mission: Mission 40: Thirty Pieces of Silver
Location: Various Locations - USS Argonne
Timeline: 1200Hrs - August 3rd, 2391

Lieutenant Commander Chauncey Sparrer looked around the new large sick bay. "Where is Doctor Anjou?" he asked the nurse on duty. She just shook her head in response. Sparrer nodded to the nurse. "Thank you. Computer, locate Lieutenant Anjou." he ordered the ship's computer.

"Lieutenant Anjou is in holodeck two." the computer replied.

"What?" Sparrer asked himself as he headed to the holodeck. As the doors to the holodeck opened Sparrer was bombarded by lights and sounds. On the floor of the holodeck were several nude and nubile females of all sorts of different species. Some of the females wielded scourges and were lashing the other females. Some of the females were chained to the walls. Many of them were on the floor, caught up in their own throws of ecstasy.

Sparrer looked around the pleasure dungeon. In a corner he spotted a male human in a Star Fleet medical officers uniform. He was sitting in a chair drinking some sort of alcohol. "Doctor Anjou!" He called out. Anjou in reply waved his hand to call Sparrer over to him.

"Hey, whats up Chauncey?" Anjou greeted Sparrer. "Come to enjoy the show?"

"What the hell is this?" Sparrer asked, still a little shocked.

"Orion Slave Market IV." Anjou replied. "It's a porno holomovie."

"I know this is a porn flick. Those are not suppose to be on Star Fleet holodecks. How did you get..." Sparrer searched for the title. "Orion Slave Market on the computer's holodeck?"

"Actually, this is Orion Slave Market IV." Anjou corrected Sparrer. "Orion Slave Markets I, II, and III were much more creative. I think the director just lost his artistic motivation for Orion Slave Market IV. It just seems like a hollow cash cow movie." Anjou said a little bitterly.

"I don't care about that!" Sparrer shot back. "Aren't you suppose to be on duty?"

"No Chauncey, I'm off duty." Anjou replied. "Thought I would unwind in the holodeck."

"You'll address me by my rank and last name." Sparrer told Anjou. "And I want this movie scrubbed off."

"Oh, no can do." Anjou told him. "I didn't put it on here. I wouldn't know how to get past the security protocols. No, a computer tech put the movies on the holodeck for me. He had a rash on his manhood and I helped him remove it. He was so grateful he installed the movies."

"Movies?" Sparrer replied. "You mean there is more than one on the computer?"

"Yes, the whole series of seven movies. Although I think the first three are the best." Anjou told Sparrer.

Sparrer moaned. "I'll get engineering to pull those off." Anjou just nodded and smiled, knowing the techs would not take it off and just hide the programs.

"I just wanted to tell you personally that the mission has changed for the Beacon." Sparrer informed Anjou.

"What! You mean the Beacon won't be a catastrophe response ship?" Anjou asked. "That is why I signed on to this tour."

"Yes, I know your reasons. Star Fleet has changed its mind. We will now be a marine control and transport vessel." Sparrer told Anjou.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Anjou yelled. "It was bad enough Star Fleet scrubbed the response mission but now your telling me this ship will be filled with sub intellect muscle heads?"

"That's the sum of it." Sparrer told him. "i know your a little upset right now so I'll leave you to your program." Anjou just rolled his eyes and frowned.

Sparrer stepped out into the ship's hallway. It was quiet for about three seconds. Then, a woman dressed in coveralls and her hair up under a baseball cap made her way to Sparrer.

"Can you believe this!" She shouted at him. "That idiot in charge of the boneyard gave us the wrong pod! It's a marine command pod! I told the moron he was making a mistake but he just pointed to the orders on his PaDD. He is putting it on now! Commander, you have to stop him!" The woman told Sparrer.

"Yes I can believe it Lieutenant." Sparrer told Shalvari. "Our ship has changed. We aren't a response ship anymore. We are now a marine ship."

Shalvari looked a little surprised. "How can they do that to us? I don't want to serve under a bunch of marines. What the hell would they know about running a ship?" She asked him.

"Well, not much." Sparrer replied. "That is why we are the crew."

The woman howled in anger. "Now I have to apologize to that half witted supervisor. I made some unkind remarks about his families heritage. He might take what I said personal."

"You do that." Sparrer told her before he headed to the bridge. When he arrived a stout and muscular Tellarite security officer with a green Mohawk and sideburns was already there.

"So..." The Tellarite looked at Sparrer. "Did you know that we are now a marine taxi cab service?" He asked Sparrer that sounded more like an accusation.

"I just found out about it a short time ago. I was on my way to the bridge to tell you." Sparrer replied. "How did you find out?"

"One of the green bellies is headed over to the ship now." Korgnov replied. "One of their operations officers to liaison for marines to transfer over."

"You know Korgnov, of all the officers on this ship I thought you would be the most receptive." Sparrer told Korgnov.

"Are you joking Commander?" he asked. "Marines would be the worst! They will not have any respect for the security department. We will have constant problems with discipline." Korgnov told Sparrer. "No, I will have to lay down the law with the marines right away. Let them know they cannot walk all over my security details."

It was just then that Anjou walked on to the bridge. "What are you doing here?" Sparrer asked the doctor.

"Udloi told me about the war monger who was coming aboard. I thought I would give him a piece of my mind. Make sure he knows his place." Anjou told Sparrer.

"Don't cause problems Doctor Anjou." Sparrer asked him.

"No, I want to make the mother fucker cry." Anjou replied.

"No mercy!" Korgnov told Anjou. "I hope he takes a swing at you so I can put him on the deck."

"No mercy!" Anjou replied. "Don't worry, I'll get his ears burning. I'll use small words so the half wit understands what I'm saying."

Sparrer just shrugged. Normally Korgnov and Anjou were at each other. Now, they were a team versus this new threat. Sparrer knew he would have to step in to make sure things didn't go to far.

The three were staring at the doors to the bridge when they opened. A willowy purple skinned female in a marine uniform entered. The three were silent. "Hello, I'm the operations officer for the marines." She said a little timidly.

"Hello, and welcome to the Argonne." Sparrer told her.

"Glad to have you aboard." Anjou jumped in. He had a warm smile on his face as he talked to the new officer. "Were pleased to have you marines aboard. What is your name?"

Ryngwyth smiled back at Anjou. "I'm Captain Ryngwyth." She softly replied.

"Doctor Konrad Anjou at your service my dear." Anjou told her. "You can just call me Konrad. I want you to feel welcome here."

"Thank you. I was a little apprehensive about coming aboard. I didn't know how Star Fleet officers would respond to working with marines." Ryngwyth told Anjou.

"What! Oh, no problem at all." Anjou told Ryngwyth. "We are all humble servants of the Federation."

"Yes, anyways..." Sparrer interrupted. "The ship's captain, Commander Sorvok, is away right now. He will be back tomorrow. Until then, why don't you familiarize yourself with the ship?" Sparrer suggested.

"Great idea!" Anjou came back in. "I'll show you around. I'm off duty so I can give you a guided tour of sorts so you don't get lost." He smiled at the pretty alien girl.

"I would like that Konrad." She replied. And the two left the bridge together.

"Why the hell did he do that?" Korgnov asked. "I thought he hated marines?"

"Hormones Lieutenant." Sparrer told him. "That is a weakness of the good doctor."
