Mission: Mission 36: The Crusade Against the Infidels
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1000Hrs - July 2nd, 2391

Lieutenant John Sheridan entered the brig space as he smiled at the guard. "Hey Chief, give us a moment please?"

"With respect sir, I can't."

"Alright, then stand by the door. I want to talk to the prisoner, I won't drop the forcefield."

"Alright... If it were anyone but security-"

"You'd toss them out on their ass. That's fine by me." Sheridan responded with a smile before the guard retreated, Sheridan moved over to the cell as he let out a breath of air. "Y'know... when I got the list of who would be assigned here... I expected the one who would be facing charges like this... would be Phoenix... I had hope for you."

Tienn was lying on her side, using her uniform jacket as a pillow as she was facing away. "Its over El Tee... My career is finished... Considering what I did..."

"Considering the charges against you... Captain Tane is going to have you keelhauled... at best."

"That's if the other Yamaguchi's don't kill me first..."

"That... is not going to happen Ensign," Sheridan responded emphatically. "Not on my watch."

"I beat the Exec's eldest daughter within an inch of her life... I destroyed her knee and I probably killed her unborn baby... I can never atone for this atrocity."

"Why did you do it..."

Tienn looked up at the ceiling. "I... I don't know.."

"An honest answer." he responded. "You know what charges you are facing?"

"I do.." Tienn responded softly. "and I'm guilty as charged El Tee..."

"You truly believe that.... because I'm not so sure.."

"El Tee... Stop." Tienn said quietly. "I'm guilty... you should be trying to convict me for my crimes... "

"Well Ensign Yamaguchi's baby is going to be alright... or so I am told... so there's that."

"Unimportant." Tienn's response was simple. "She nearly lost her baby because I once again lost control."
she paused. "Do you mind if I have a PADD?"

"Why?"

"So I can write my resignation letter."

"Sure." Sheridan responded as the guard who was overhearing, handed him a blank PADD.
The taller guy came back over to the forcefield, before he tapped it once, the field went down with a loud fuzzing sound as he handed her the PADD.

Tienn slowly sat up before the PADD, she started writing as Sheridan reset the forcefield, sealing Tienn inside alone with her guilt.

About forty fives minutes later. Tienn turned her head. "Guard!"

The massive Dranaei security officer looked at her. "Yes Ensign."

"I have the letter I wanted to write." Tienn answered. "Would you mind seeing to it that Lieutenant Sheridan gets it."

"I can" the Chief said. "Place it on the deck next to the forcefield." Tienn did so then she stepped back as she knew the routine.

The Chief dropped the forcefield as a second officer retrieved the PADD. "I'll see to it that El Tee Sheridan gets this." he turned to the other guard. "Crewman, would you mind taking this to Lieutenant Sheridan."

"Consider it done sir." the MacDougal responded.

"Thank you." Skyshatter responded before MacDougal went into the main security annex where Lieutenant Sheridan was coming the other way, he had a deeply concerned look on his face as he was watching the footage of Elizabeth Yamaguchi endure a beating, what was most serious was the injury to her knee while most of what Tienn did was the unfocused lashings of a woman gripped by her rage.

Elizabeth however didn't seem much interested in fighting back and she was known for her combat prowess as Sheridan had read her file, his reverie was interrupted by a voice. "Sir."

"Yes crewman?" Sheridan inquired.

"The prisoner has asked that I deliver this." MacDougal responded. "So Chief Skyshatter asked me to hand deliver it to you."

"Okay, thank you." as Sheridan received the PADD from the younger crewman, he glanced over it as he noticed two documents, one was an apology which was unexpected and the second was a resignation letter which he did expect. "Alright... I'll take this PADD to Gyce and let her process it. Thank you crewman."

"Sir." and with that MacDougal responded before he turned and departed, while Sheridan went off to find Gyce.
