Gunther went over to where Mudphit's quarters with John Sheridan following him. Gunther didn't even bother hitting the door chime on Mudphit's quarters, he just simply used his security override. Immediately the smell of weed met his nose. Walking into the quarters he found Mudphit, eyes glassed over and head in the clouds. Gunther could smell the same cocaine laced joint that Ayrssa had.
Sheridan sighed softly as he regarded the massive beachball of an enlisted man, who looked like he was truly baked. "Well Senior Chief... I think we found our convict, I mean medic.."
Gunther picked up the remains of the blunt, and commented, "Yeah, but something tells me, this guy is just another user, and is not the dealer."
Sheridan raised an eyebrow. "What makes you say that?" as he drew his tricorder, then he opened it so he could start his sweep.
Gunther looked down at the stub of the blunt, "because if he was a dealer, he would have not smoked the whole thing. there was probably enough cocaine in here to kill most smaller people. Only reason fatass hasn't ODed yet is because of how fat he is."
"Lovely" Sheridan sighed as he began the procedure to document the evidence he knew he would need to start the chapter paperwork. "Well Senior Chief... I'm going to take a perverse pleasure in this." as he tapped his combadge. "Sheridan to Transporter room three... beam Mr... Mudphit Bremer to a cell in the brig.." he kept his voice calm and rational. "Sheridan to security, Skyshatter... are you there?"
"I am El Tee. Whats up?"
"Prepare all the cells in the brig. I will be sending you guests... I want you to keep them isolated from each other as they arrive... nobody gets in and nobody... gets out.." he paused. "I'm declaring war on the drug dealers and anyone using."
"Confirmed El Tee... It'll be done.."
Sheridan reached under his shirt as he pulled loose a set of dog tags around his closed fist. "Good. Sheridan out," he responded before he tapped his combadge.
He turned his gaze down to where he held his dead wife's dog tags in his grip before setting them back where they were under his uniform shirt. "Well Senior Chief... I think I'm going to enjoy doing the chapter paperwork on the blob." he responded as the doorbell beeped. "Enter."
Two security guards entered, followed by one of the ships CSI's. "El Tee.. I'm here to process these quarters for evidence."
"Good... go to it... Senior Chief, lets go out into the hallway."
Gunther figured something was bothering Sheridan, so he asked," Is something bothering you."
"Old ghosts Senior Chief... My wife was murdered with drugs.." he responded. "during my last assignment to clean out a drug infested ship.... and that one ended badly." he sighed. "I'm not going to let it go like that this time."
Gunther sighed, saying, "Might I make a recommendation then."
"Senior Chief. you assume I'm going to care whether or not you speak your mind... I've come to rely on you Chief.... out with it."
"Don't take the drug problem here too personally, try not to make this into a personal vendetta."
Sheridan regarded the Senior Chief before nodding. "Alright..." he paused. "I'll try to keep that in mind, going forward." he added. "Chief, feel free to always speak your mind at any time, day or night."
Gunther didn't say anything further on the matter, instead he said," So who do you think is the dealer, because I have nothing."
"Not this guy.... we will offer him something for the dealer." Sheridan smiled. "Something to be said for the oldest tricks in the book."
Gunther nodded, "From what I know of mudphit, who the hell names their kid that anyway, he is a spineless idiot, shouldn't take much for him to squeal."
"Well... we will soon find out Senior Chief." Sheridan answered. "I'm going to keep him only as long as I need him..."
