Mission: Mission 34: Between Two Fires
Location: Various Locations - USS Toronto
Timeline: 1145Hrs - June 21st, 2391

Captain Vrr'Srhann'rr narrowed her eyes as the three of them had spent the last fifteen minutes getting caught up on recent events as the Caitian woman read over the PADD in her paws.

"Indeed... Something... isn't quite right here with this..."

"Thats what I've been saying.." Paul Dragon responded.

Selene shook her head. "Whoever dropped off that shuttle cleaned it too well... there are signs of a major cleaning solvent all over the place."

"So... that's it then?" Paul inquired. "Selene, I had no idea you gave up so easily."

"I don't. Paul... now now, lets not flirt in public..." she indicated the Caitian at their table who let out a huffing sound that was the equivalent of Caitian laughter. "Oh I've seen and heard far worse from his mother."

Selene raised an eyebrow. "Do I dare inquire?"

"April was once hitting on me in public, it almost worked.... except April is unfortunately female... and I was married at the time... I still am and happily too."

Rather then react as one expected the average human did, Paul merely laughed at the comment. "Yeah, mom always was the adventurous type... "

Selene shook her head as she tried not to laugh. "I guess that's the price I pay for knowing mom only when she's an Admiral... Sucks ehh?"

"It happens, April used to be much more hot-blooded then she is now. She's become ..... domesticated." Siranna said the word with a measure of contempt. "It ruins her... she needs to get out more."

"I'll make sure to tell her you said that." Paul responded with a look of amusement on his face.

"Please do...." Siranna responded in the same tone before she narrowed her eyes. "Well I have a little time... I could always assist you two with this assignment, see if my computer skills are still any good.... will your Captain have issues with that?"

"Not likely. Have you met the Highlord?"

"Highlord... why is Captain Bolvar Fordragon called the Highlord. I do not understand?" the Caitian female looked truly baffled as if she was trying to wrestle a problem but she could not quite figure it out.

"I'll introduce you, I need to hand-deliver my report to him anyway so now is a good time for it," Paul explained as he finished the last of his drink

Selene smiled. "I'll meet you two in the Main Hanger when you're finished with the skipper." in a way she was envious of her husband as he shared a connection with this Caitian woman who she had no idea existed until now.

The three all got up as once and went out of the lounge, the doors closed behind them as Siranna looked at Paul. "Would you give us a moment please Paul?"

"Of course." Paul didn't seem offended or annoyed in the least as Siranna turned to regard Selene Dragon, somehow she picked up on what was bugging the human female before her, but she also recognized a lot of April Dragon in the woman before her, somehow the two women had spent a lot of time together so Celeste had picked up the older woman's' manners without realizing it, Siranna, however, had noticed. "Selene. I don't think you know how fortunate you are.... or how fortunate he is..."

"I don't understand?" Selene responded softly.

Siranna looked down at the shorter woman. "Paul has come a long way over the last few years... I assume that's your doing.?" as her eyes noticed something under Selene's uniform. "Is that a wooden necklace?"

"It is... Paul made it for our anniversary.." Selene's fingers gently plucked the necklace out before she gently handed it to the other woman who regarded it with a smile. "He still does his woodworking...?"

"He does... he is loathe to give it up, as it brings him a measure of peace," Selene responded. "I've tried it but.... I only break things."

"Ahh... that's something he shares with April.... and its something he once shared with me too." as she gently placed Celeste's wooden necklace back into her outstretched hand before Siranna produced her own necklace, it was a more primitive version as the wood was clearly softer and the design pattern was different but the design was very similar. "I rejoice for him.. and those who bring him happiness... Treasure him, Selene...You are his soul mate where I'm an old friend... Never loose sight of that."

"I won't... thank you."

"Alright...We should be going...."

Selene nodded. "I'll meet you in the hanger when you finish with the skipper."
