Mission: Mission 33: Losing the Peace
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 1930Hrs - June 10th, 2391

Keras and Oriana returned on a shuttle through the ion storm. Keras received first aid on the planet but was sent up to the Dreamcrusher to get a doctor to look at his wounds. Oriana took Karass to sick bay.

Doctor Celeste Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow as she regarded the odd couple who came through the door. "What happened?" she inquired.
"Okay bring him over here.... let me have a look at his wounds.."

Oriana guided Karass over to the exam bed. "We got into a fight with some hostile civilians. They had knives." Oriana explained to Celeste.

Karass sat down on a biobed as a grunt of pain escaped him. "Okay. lie back and let me look... ooh." Celeste raised an eyebrow. "Nurse?"

A younger woman came over. "Doctor.. you called?"

"Yeah. help me with this... we have several deep lacerations... " as Celeste sighed. "I'm going to miss dinner tonight." a sigh escaped her lips. "You have several deep slash wounds Commander... Its something of a minor miracle that you're still conscious."

"Lovely... " Karass replied in a dry tone. "How badly did they mess me up?"

"Pretty good... but not to worry, you're in good hands..." Celeste Yamaguchi explained. "What about you?" she addressed Oriana.

"I am in good condition Doctor Yamaguchi. One of them punched and kicked me but I only received superficial wounds." Oriana explained. "It is Commander McKnight that received the severe injuries. Without him, I could very well be dead."

Celeste nodded in understanding. "Alright." she responded. "Nurse... please check the Lieutenant over and make sure all is well?"

"Certainly." a young male responded. He looked human but Celeste wasn't sure and she wasn't about to ask either as she tended to the wounds inflicted on Commander McKnight. "This won't take me long."

"I apologize to you Commander for getting you involved in my affairs." Oriana told McKnight. "I am glad you were not killed."

Karass turned his head as he regarded the exotic looking female officer as he considered exactly what to say on the matter. "I regret what I did... But I know... that had I not done what I did... They would have killed you."

Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow. "If you don't mind my asking... what did happen?"

Karass regarded Oriana. "You tell her.."

"I am from the Tylwyth League." Oriana told Celeste. "Some Tylwyth merchant traders found me and followed me out to the wilderness. They surround me. They were going to kill me before the Commander interceded and drove them off. I am lucky he arrived."

Karass nodded his head once. "I actually wanted some peace and quiet... It was sheer chance that I happened onto the situation.." he responded.

"Where are the others now?" Yamaguchi inquired.

"They are all dead Doctor." McKnight responded quietly. "I did... what I had to do..."

"Alright." Yamaguchi went back to treating his wounds, no recrimination in her tone or her actions. "In any case, I want you to take it easy for the next couple of days, your ribs will be tender for the next whole , as will the skin and the muscles around them, if you have shortness of breathe, come back here right away. Alright?"

"I will do so Doctor. Thank you." and with that Karass sat up as he gently moved off of the bed.
