Mission: Mission 33: Losing the Peace
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 1130Hrs - May 20th, 2391

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi looked down at the PADD before her, it was a job offer to become Chief Medical Officer of Starbase Twelve and it included a promotion to Captain, considering the size of her medical staff on the base.

She frowned as she slapped the PADD down. "I hate stupid people." she growled as she lifted her tankard to her lips before she downed a mouthfull of her juice.

She wiped at her lips as she looked up into the face of her paramour. "Bri.... you look... disgruntled..." Celeste paused. "Whats up?" before she lifted her glass and finished her drink. "Mmm... "

"Actually I was just about ask you the same question." Bri responded.

Celeste plucked the PADD from the table as she handed it to the other woman. "Have a read..." she said quietly.

Brianna picked up the PADD and read it. "Wow, so when are you leaving us?" Brianna asked Celeste.

"I'm not." Yamaguchi responded. "That should have come to me before I went to the Shadow as their CMO, it should have been mine two years ago... so I could have appreciated it..." she sighed. "Now its an excuse... note who the Commander is on Starbase Twelve, one Sildra Vaxx-Warfield.... who just so happens to be an old friend of mine..."

"Really, what happened between you two?" Hobbs asked.

"She's a Bolian... who's married to a human.. and she has a thing for me." Celeste sighed. "you ever had a hard up Bolian hitting on you.... its gets potent after a time.."

Brianna smiled at Celeste. "No, I've never had that problem with a Bolian. So, because she had a thing for you she brushed off your promotion?"

"Yep.." Celeste responded. "Being promoted to Captain isn't all its cracked up to be and I don't want her looking for me any time she has the itch she can't scratch..." she sighed.

"And if you turn this opportunity down, it will go on your record." Hobbs told her.

Celeste waved the comment away like it was a pest. "Bah. I'm not in Starfleet to administer a hospital... I'm in Starfleet to get out, see and do new things... I can't help explore if I'm stuck on small Starbase.." as she gave Hobbs a pointed look. "Would you sit down already... its hurting my neck looking up all the time."

"I think I would go insane if I were stuck on a star base." Bri replied as she took a seat. "If a hospital ship opens up I bet you would be on your way."

"Not likely... a hospital ship would be a waste of my talents." Celeste responded as a smile graced her lips. "Besides.. I have other things I can do..."

"So you are multi talented?" Bri asked rhetorically. "Never heard you discuss them before."

Celeste gave the other woman a small grin. "That's because... you've never asked..." before she blew Hobbs a kiss.

Bri laughed at Celeste's antics. "Alright then, enlighten me."

Celeste finished her drink as she rose to her feet. "Rather then me explain.... How about... I just show you..." she responded. "Come on... lets see if I have my holoprograms with me."

Hobbs stood up. "Lead the way my friend."

Yamaguchi turned and walked out the door. "Lets see... Which one... Orbital skydiving. Paradrop from low orbit... surfing..." she paused. "snowboarding.." she paused. "I think I remember how to ski..."

"I'm not sure how this relates to you not wanting to command a hospital ship." Hobbs thought out loud. "I mean, I'll still go along."

"Bri.. I didn't join Starfleet to let someone else do the work and I get to sit on my ass deep inside Federation space, commanding a flying hospital." Celeste explained. "I joined because I wanted to go out there.."

"So you want to explore and stay on the edge?" Hobbs asked.

"I do yes.." Celeste and Hobbs arrived at their destination. "Sooo.... sex on a beach..." she paused. "Orbital skydiving..." she then smiled. "When was the last time you went surfing?"

"Surfing? I've never done that." Hobbs responded with curiosity.

"Alright... you'll want some decent beach attire, as doing this naked isn't a good idea." Celeste responded as she selected a program. the system said it was ready and the two women stepped onto the holodeck. "Ahhh. here we are." she commented, a smile on her face. "I taught Pava and Pasha to surf.." as she gave Hobbs a look, the area was a beachfront from Hawaii, lots of places to go and see. "you wanna select the suit you'll be wearing for this...?" Celeste inquired. "I never bring my own... I always select something new from the program's gift shop.... I made a few additions to this program." she explained.

"Hawaii, that's on Rysa, correct?" Hobbs asked.

"Earth, actually." she responded as she went into the gift shop, she turned back to make sure Hobbs was following her. "Select the one you want." as a rather evil smile appeared on her face. "Mmm... lets see.. one pieces here I come." and with that Yamaguchi moved over to one section of the store.

Brianna looked at the variety of suits. "Is there one that helps you surf?" She asked, obviously unused to swimwear.

"Any of them will work but you want something thats a little more rugged then usual." Celeste explained. "Thats why I prefer one-pieces." she then shrugged. "Pava prefered one-pieces like me whereas Pasha could get away with a pair of shorts." she then smiled. "Expect to get knocked off of your board a few times.... its normal and to be expected." she added as she selected a dark green one piece for herself. "Ahh.. this one will suffice for me."

Brianna looked over the suits. She picked out a bright yellow suit. "This is so the rescue teams can find me in the water." She told Celeste. "Now, what else do we need for surfing?"

Yamaguchi smiled. "Well you need to make sure it fits." as she led the other woman over to the changing rooms. "If it don't fit, this will be worse then a waste of time." and with that, she went into the changing room before she stripped quickly, then she slid the suit on as she smiled, she opened the door as she regarded Hobbs. "So... what do you think?"

Hobbs was still putting her suit on when Yamaguchi entered. "Oh, that really shows off your figure." Brianna told her. "I just have to get mine on now."

Yamaguchi smiled. "You just need something that works." she commented, as she noticed Hobbs state of undress, she turned away so Hobbs wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

"It's...okay...I...almost...have this on." Brianna told Celeste. The swimsuit was a little tight and a little too short but Brianna didn't seem to mind. "So, are we ready to surf?" she asked.

"Almost." she turned. "Mmm... looks good on you." she decided not to ask if she was sure about the size of the suit, she did notice it was a little tight. "We just need to go get a couple of boards... and then I will show you how this insanity works.."

"Okay, I'm right behind you following your cute butt." Brianna told her.

Yamaguchi smiled. "Don't tease me..." as she peered at the other woman over her shoulder. "I could be persuaded to postpone the surfing and... have my way with you here..." she commented. "there are beach towels around so we won't need to worry about sand.."

"Well do you want to have a romp or surf?" Brianna asked while smiling. "I don't know if I can handle both."

Celeste gave the other woman an impish smile. "Oh alright... I'll behave.." she paused as she blew Bri a kiss. "For now..." as her smile widened.

"Okay, so we going to try out this surf thingie?" Brianna asked.

"Yep... right this way." there was something in her accent as she went over to a guy who had a collection of boards. "Howdy Ma'am." he addressed Celeste. "Intrest you in a board?"

"I'm looking for two of them.. What do you got?"

"My selection is right here." the dark skinned human waved a hand to encompass the two dozen or so boards. "Pick any one you ladies like."

Celeste selected a white one with a red skull and crossbones on it. "This one will be fine."

"A good choice... and for you?" he asked Bri, clearly he was used to seeing women wearing almost nothing all the time.

Brianna looked at the boards. "One that a novice could use."

The guy nodded. "Okay... lets see..." he selected two of them. "One of these two will do." he responded. "your first time out on the waves?"

Brianna was a little embarrassed. "Um, yeah. This is my first time out."

"Well... this is a good beach area... the waves aren't too big and so long as you remember what you're doing... you'll be fine... and welcome to the surfing community.."

Celeste smiled as she held her longboard under her arm, she noticed that Bri had a similar board. "Alright... lets head out.... see how there are only a few people here... if this were the real deal... we'd have several hundred to deal with... and we get to share the waves.. but as we're on a holodeck, that issue don't apply here."

Bri said nothing but followed Celeste's lead.

Celeste went right up to the waters edge. "Since this is your first time out, do't feel you need to impress me or anyone else.... hopping up on a board while wet can be quite a challenge." she explained before she started walking out into the surf. "This will be interesting... I programmed the waves to be smallish with no rip currents. Wave height of no more then four feet."

Bri looked a little apprehensive as she walked into the surf. "Oh trust me, I'm not going to impress anyone." She went further out into the water, still shadowing the actions of Celeste.

Celeste gently proceeded to lie down on her board as she began paddling out into the open sea before she suddenly duck dove under a wave, she looked around as she did so, momentarily losing sight of Hobbs.

Bri had paddled out behind Celeste. Then, a low crashing wave hit Bri's board. She held on as the wave passed. For a second she lost contact with Celeste but quickly found her again. "Now what?" Brianna asked her partner.

"Now... we try and stand up on the boards... if you can't then thats fine... but you will get knocked off of the board so be ready for that." Celeste explained as she slowly climbed up on her board. "You go right.. I'll go left... I'll seeya back on the beach..." and with that she caught the next wave before she was gone from sight.

Bri struggled to stand up on the board. She had a hard time keeping her balance but somehow she did. Brianna rode a small wave for several meters.

"Hey Celeste!" Brianna cried out. "Look at me! Look at me!" she yelled at her friend as she stood straight up and waved. Then, the board shot out from under Brianna's feet and she plunged into the water.

Celeste turned her head as she spotted her companion as she was standing on her board before the wave took her, she winced as she overcorrected and promptly came off of her own board.

She breathed out a stream of bubbles before she surfaced. "Well... that was eligant.." she muttered to herself before another wave crashed over her.

Celeste turned and started swimming for shore.

Brianna tried to get back up on her board but was dumped back into the ocean. After coughing up a bit of saltwater she decide to follow Celeste to shore.

Celeste half crawled and was half washed up on shore, she lay there in the sand for a moment as she slowly began to climb to her feet. "I think.... the waves were a little too much for us.." she muttered to herself. "Computer, reduce waves to two foot breakers every two minutes apart.." she sighed. "I can't enjoy myself if I'm looking like I got shipwrecked." she turned to find herself watching as Hobb's came ashore after she did. "You Okay?" she asked the other woman.

Brianna lay supine on the beach. "You know, if we keep this up we won't have energy for sex." She told Celeste. "Computer: set up a bar appropriate for this location along with a something to eat."

About ten yards up the beach a bar that looked like an open hut appeared. Next to it was an open pit and two bronze skinned men were pulling something large out of the pit.

Celeste reached down as she gently pulled the other woman to her feet. "Yeah... I set the waves to be too strong... I'm a novice at this too.... I used to be a fan of alpine sports but I decided to expand." before she turned her head. "Whats this?"

"Booze and food, local style." Bri replied. "Not sure what they serve here but it must be good."

"Sounds good." she paused. "Lets eat something before we try surfing again.." Celeste commented as she wiped at her front which was hopelessly caked in sand. "I think I selected a bad beach.."

"Oh, the beach is just fine." Bri replied. "Wonder what they cooked?" she asked herself as she meandered over to the men who had now placed the bundle on a large table.

"Whatcha cooking?" Brianna asked.

"A pig, did you want a plate?" the man replied.

"Oh, yes please." Brianna told him and was handed a plate of roast pork topped with pineapple rings. She then went to the open hut and received a tall white drink. She than sat on the beach and started to eat.

Celeste went over and got a plate of the same. "This looks great guys."
as she selected a drink of her choice, in this case it was water, before she went to sit down next to Hobbs. "You alright?"

"I'm doing okay." Bri replied. "This meat is tender and the drink is good too." She told Celeste while putting away more food and drink. "So you want to have one more go at surfing or go right to the sex?

Celeste took her time eating the mouthful of food in her mouth, if only to consider the question. "Alright... one more then I will ravish you... I will make you moan and groan.."

Brianna washed down the rest of her drink. "Alright, I'll let my food settle and then it's back to the waves."

"Alright, sounds good to me." Celeste responded with a smile as she finished off her food and washed it down with the last of her water.

Bri stood up and picked up her board. "Let's go." She told Celeste as she headed back into the surf.

Celeste likewise stood as she followed the other woman into the surf, board under her arm.
