Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0900Hrs - May 18th, 2391

Ensign Tienn Iteela was busy checking the medical records for her usual patient, the one who was one of the most dangerous women aboard ship, she heard the door open. "Morning Daisy." she never addressed her patients by rank, only by name. "How ya feeling today mmm??" she inquired with a smile.

"The babies kicking." Daisy replied. "I think it's ready to take on the Beta Quadrant."

"Someday soon... the little one will be able to do that." Tienn smiled as she produced her tricorder, she also did not help Daisy onto the bed, believing that if the Major wanted a hand, she'd ask and not let Tienn make her out to be a cripple.

"I'm feeling okay myself." Daisy told her. "Although to be honest, I can't perform field duties until I deliver my little warrior."

"You still don't wanna know the gender of the little warrior?" Tienn inquired. "Other then a slight touch of stress... you're in excellent shape... the little one is developing very nicely..." the small Bajoran smiled. "You should have a healthy baby in your arms in a month or so.... will the father of the child be present for the event?"

"I want to know the gender only a few days before." Daisy told her. "We still haven't figured out a name for the little one. Ans speaking of the father, I'll need to tell him in a few weeks, I'm sure he'll figure out a way to get here."

Tienn nodded. "Okay.." she responded. "I will leave the naming of infants to you Daisy.." as she smiled. "Can I get you anything to eat or drink?" she asked.

"No, I need to get back to work." Daisy replied. "The Marines are going to be busy while we are here."

"Alright.." Tienn responded. "I'll schedule another check for a weeks time, same as always.."

"Thank you" Daisy replied. "You know that I'm friends with your sister. Is there some name you like to go by?"

"My long lost Marine sister?" she inquired. "I'm Iteela.. she's Nerra and I hear that Ezas is somewhere out in the battlegroup as well... we're just missing Kerris and we have all my siblings.."

"Yes, I had lunch with your sisters." Daisy replied. "I was just wondering wondering what you liked to be called."

Iteela smiled. "Yes. both Ezas and Nerra spoke of you..." she responded.
"When Nerra speaks of you, she never moves on from 'Daisy Rohr is the best person ever.'" Iteela regarded the Klingon woman before her. "so... now that we're on the subject... I simply must ask... Why does she worship you so?"

"I hope she doesn't worship me!" Daisy said with a chuckle. "To be serious though, Tienn was a hurt person when she came aboard the Shadow. I think she healed herself there."

"She thinks the world of you." Tienn smiled.

Daisy smiled. "Tienn is a good person. I'm proud she's my friend."

"I'm glad she's my sibling.... but she has the same issues that I do."
a sigh escaped the smaller womans lips. "I need a vacation."

"This assignment can be very stressful." Daisy told her. "Is there something that is bothering you in particular?"

"Mostly just old issues... our mother was never found after the Cardassian Withdrawal... We're still looking for her."

"Oh, that's horrible." Daisy told her. "Have you seen a counselor about your mother?"

"Tried and failed.." Tienn responded. "My brothers have all given up but.. my sisters,.. we never quite gave up... Ezas I think was the only one to let it go.. the rest of us didn't."

Daisy frowned. "You ought to try again. You can't let something like that haunt you."

"Its been twenty five years.... I guess you're right.." Tienn sighed softly. "I kept hoping... that she was alive... and that we'd missed her somehow..." she regarded Daisy. "I wish the Klingon had finished the job and had exterminated the Cardassians... they deserved no less.."

Daisy was a little stunned at what she heard. She wasn't sure how to respond. "Maybe you should see the therapist?" Daisy suggested. "Your being torn apart from inside."

"Alright..." Iteela whispered. "I'll try again.." she sighed. "I'm sorry Daisy, you did not need to be burdened with my troubles.."
