Mission: Mission 26: Points of Divergence
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1400Hrs - February 17th, 2391

Hakaya picked up one of silversnows four kittens, still haven't found a fur sure home for them yet. Though Hakaya honestly was starting to get attached to them. She gently held and petted the kitten, and it purred contently, while Teval walked in saying," Well, you seem to be in a better mood today."

Hakaya nodded without saying anything, when the door chime went off. Teval opened the door and noticed it was Galiaan Fordring .

Galiaan looked down at Teval. "Hello... I'm here to go a check on Hakaya... Is this a bad time?" she inquired with a smile.

Teval looked over at hakaya, whom was happily cuddling the kitten she was holding," No, I don't think so, this is the first time I have seen a genuine smile out of her."

Galiaan nodded as she slowly moved into the quarters. "Hey Hakaya, how are you feeling today?" she inquired. "I'm just going to do a quick check, if that's alright.... see if all is well."

Hakaya looked up at Gailaan, her mood being noticeably less agitated than before, she just nodded her head, saying "O.K."

Galiaan decided to be quick, she opened her tricorder as she did a scan of Hakaya. "Minus your fur's slow regrowth rate, you seem to have suffered no ill effects of what happened.." she closed the tricorder. "So.. other then hanging out with your little guy.. How are you feeling?"

Hakaya shrugged," Eh, I'm managing I guess."

At that time, Karryn walked out of the bedroom, looking very ragged. Teval looked at her saying," Well good morning sleepyhead."

Karryn gave Teval the middle finger, saying, "Oh fuck you, this really hurts you know."

Teval shook his head, smiling," Yeah I did that three months ago."

Karryn gave him a look," Yeah, thanks for that one asshole. Really appreciate that."

"You guys alright...?" Galiaan looked at Karryn. "What the hell happened to you?" she inquired. "You alright?"

Karryn shook her head, saying," This pregnancy thing hurts."

Teval then noticed her parts where starting to stretch, that's when he commented," Uh, oh."

Galiaan nodded. "Come on over here... and let me have a look... I think you're in labour.." she explained.

Karryn slowly walked over, saying, "Owww, this hurts."

Galiaan opened her tricorder as her eyes widened. "Well Karryn, you're not going to be pregnant for much longer... you're indeed in labor... you wanna have the kids here or in sickbay?"

Karryn shook her head, saying," Eh, I don-" She suddenly bent over as the pain hit her. Teval moved over to karryn, saying to Galiaan," I think Karryn would prefer not to go to sickbay for this."

Karryn nodded, teeth gritted in pain. Hakaya also walked over, still cradling the kitten in her arms.

Galiaan nodded. "Very well.. then we handle business right here.." she paused as she tapped her combadge. "Fordring to Windspirit, could you come down to Teval's quarters, on the double... its Karryn."

Windspirit at the time was busy having lunch with her brother when she got the call, and both of them headed to Teval's Quarters. Upon entering the quarters, Windspirit said to Fordring," Its time huh."

"Looks that way yes." Galiaan responded with a smile. "Hey Firespirit. Don't worry...you can assist too.." the massive woman responded. "Alright Karryn, lets get you prepped."

Karryn nodded, but her body acted on its own accord. Immediately she squatted and Teval watched as the whole process occurred more quickly than he expected. Windspirit caught the first kitten as it came out, handing the mewing grey furred red-panda patterned baby Kurokuri to Teval, while Galiaan checked the kitten.

"He's in good health." the massive woman explained. "Easy Karryn.."

Karryn shot Galiaan a look, then gritted her teeth as the second one came, which Windspirit promptly caught, and handed to Hakaya, whom was standing nearby. This one also had a grey furred red panda pattern, and Hakaya could tell by smell that this one was female, while Galiaan checked her. Firespirit checked over Karryn with his own Tricorder, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Easy Karryn... almost there." the massive woman commented. "you're doing well."

Karryn gave her an even more annoyed look, then gritted her teeth again as the third came out, also a female. Windspirit handed that one to Firespirit, whom checked over the third kitten, which had the regular red panda patterned fur, similar to Teval and Hakaya.

Karryn breathed slowly and calmly for a minute, as the placenta dropped to the ground. She then stood back up, saying," Well,.. I feel a lot better now."

Galiaan blinked as she gave Karryn the once over. "Yeah... the tricorder agrees with you..." she commented.

Firespirit shrugged," Yeah its not surprising you recovered so quick, given how small the newborns are. Eeiaouans are the same way."

Karryn nodded and took the newborn from firespirit, then looked at Teval, saying, "you got names."

Teval shrugged," Well, I think we can call this little guy Takov." He then looked at the one Hakaya was cradling and said," Well, as for her, We cna go with Savo."

Karryn held the mewing kitten in front of her, saying," Well, I'm fine with those, but this one, lets call her Nuyari." Karryn then looked back at Tevla saying," What about the sibling name."

Teval's ears perked up curiously," Sibling name?"

Karryn nodded," Yeah, Akurian last names are not family names, they are sibling names, each set of siblings from the same litter will share a last name."

Teval shrugged, saying, "I did not know that."

Karryn smiled," Well, its OK. Not surprising considering your memory loss. So how does patkuri sound."

Teval shrugged," Sure we can go with that."

Galiaan Fordring looked at the gathered people. "Well... you guys do recover quick.... What are all of their names so I can start the paperwork for them."

Teval grabbed a PADD and put in all the relevant information. He then gave it to her saying, "That should be all that you need."

"Thank you." Galiaan accepted the PADD, as the massive woman rose to her feet. "I'll leave you guys to enjoy this moment.." and with that, she turned and departed, heading back to sickbay with a smile on her face.

Teval picked up Takov and took him to the bathroom to get him cleaned off.
