Coming aboard

Mission: Mission 15: Old Ghosts
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 12
Timeline: 1400Hrs - December 3rd, 2390

Meslina walked about Starbase 12 looking at the different stores and figured that she didn't really need anything else from them. She had received new orders to transfer from Starbase 400 to the USS Roanoke, since she had some issues with the Admiral giving her a bad review. It was nothing that she did wrong he just didn't like her. By looking at the files about the ship that she is now stationed on she could tell that this post will be a test on her patience as well as her ability to cope with the crew, but on the bright side she did notice that some of the people that she had known from Starbase 400 is stationed here as well.

As she looked out one of the many view ports that lined the wall she found the ship that she was looking for, it was a Nebula class starship with a slightly unique design to it. According to the file that she got it was also a carrier class so it could hold fighters in a large hanger bay. "This should be interesting to see in action," Meslina said silently to herself as she made her way through the crowd of people to where the ship was docked.

Finally reaching the docking bay she pushed the button to open the hatchway, stepping inside the tunnel she noticed that the ship looked like the old Nebula class that she had served on in the past so finding her way around inside shouldn't be too difficult unlike a Starbase where getting lost was way too easy. Opening the door leading into the ship she was surprised to see that the lights were dimmed to the point of running on reserves, however people were walking around like it was normal. She needed to report to the bridge before she could do anything else.
