Meeting/Training - Part Two

Mission: Mission 13: The Space Between
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 1015Hrs - March 2nd, 2390

Selgae moved forward silently as she hefted her rifle, she could smell the Orion's as well
as hear them, she popped up as she shot one of them, he dropped with a scream which
promptly gave away her position. She sighed as she lifted her rifle over her head before
letting a few rounds loose before she sprang from cover as she moved across to another
good patch of cover she could use to escape the incoming fire.

She then spotted Drex nearby as she nodded to him, she had understood what he had wanted
from her as she popped up again and with that she downed another two Orion's.

They continued to fight there way though the ship, Drex got shot but not bad enough he
still managed to stay standing and keep fighting his way through.

Joe nodded and brought up the rear between the 3 his phaser rifle trained ahead.

A disruptor shot fired ahead of the group as several Orions came down the corridor.

"Hello Johnny, I'm sorry I forgot you was there.... forgive me if I do not shake hands.."
Selgae commented as she smiled. "you may go now." and with that she took aim with her rifle
as she shot one then two and then a third. "I think Mr Gringo is an educated man." she commented
as she ducked, just then there was a soft click as a grenade landed next to her, she plucked it from
where it had landed and then she had thrown it back.

There was a soft whump as a body hit the ground, Selgae chortled to herself as she popped up,
lashing out at an Orion, the tow went down together in a tangle of arms and legs, Selgae reacted
instinctively as she proceeded to lash out with her teath, she then basically tore his throat out,
drenching her in Orion blood.

To most it would be a disgusting experience to her it was simply a violation of what it meant to be
Caitian, she looked down at her armor plating, now covered in blood as she felt it start to matt the
soft downy fur on her face and neck, needless to say it was simply beyond revolting.

Joe stood there for a minute looking around with his rifle still in hand. He knew another wave would
be comming soon.

Selgae growled as she picked up her rifle which she then slung over her shoulders, she then stripped him
of some of his gear, picking up a second tricorder, a set of grenades, a second rifle and a sidearm which
he was most certainly not going to need anymore.

She then slowly moved off, his rifle in hand as she proceeded to clear out the last two Orions. "Clear!"
she called.

Joe nodded and gave the signal to move forward as he would bring up the rear.

Selgae looked almost nightmarish, half covered in green blood which was now matted and dry against
her soft brown and gold fur, she lifted her rifle as she proceeded to take the point. "Form up." she commented
"Watch your spacing and your corners.... and stay frosty."

Joe shot and dropped another Orion and then checked his rifle, the charge was getting low and he knew
he had a couple more shots left.

Selgae by now had forgotten what the original mission objective was but she did know that the remaining
Orion's in the area were converging on their location before something dawned on her. "Sir, may I recommend
we consider moving towards somewhere more defend-able before someone else decides to beam us into space?"
She then suddenly recalled the mission objectives but she wasn't the strike team commander so it wasn't her call.

Joe stopped for a minute:"Computer freeze program, raise to level 2. Restart program."

Just then all Orions where replaced by Reman soldiers.

Selgae blinked as the Remans appeared all over the place. "What the!" she snarled as three of them all grabbed her
at the same time, she found herself grappling with the three of them as she raked all four sets of her claws across
her various opponents as she caught one of them off guard by it, she then snapped his neck.

Joe let out a war cry and charged slamming the butt of his empty phaser rifle into the head of a Reman soldier.

Selgae growled as she crashed into a bulkhead, one of the Reman's had his arms coiled around her midsection as
he rasped something at her in his native tongue before she let her eyes roll into the back of her head, the idea being
was to throw the opposition off balance before one of them punched her in the gut, she mewled at him before she
suddenly lashed out with both hands, almost without effort she pulled the first Reman to her and she then tore his
throat out with her teeth, his blood, hot and greenish in color, splattered all over her before she growled, her claws
caught the final Reman attacking her across his throat with her claws as she opened his skin like a can of beans as
he began to hemorrhage all over the place and her.

Selgae felt well and truly filthy with the amount of Orion and Reman blood all over her. "This is so disgusting."

Joe looked over at Selgae and just shook his head before drawing his bat'leth

Selgae mewled softly as she took in her situation at a glance, she was covered quite literally in blood from head to
her tail, she was now unarmed except her claws and she had no weapons to speak of as she glanced at her fallen victims
before stripping them of their gear and weapons, taking a minute or so to make sure she was prepared.

She lifted the rifles they were using, she blinked as she considered them to be beneath her notice, beggars however
could not be choosers so she selected two of the best weapons, then she obtained power cells for them, then she set off
on the hunt.

Joe swung his bat'leth taking the head off the nearest Reman solider before heading out.

Selgae plucked a blade from a fallen Reman as she smiled, she then tested the blade by doing a quick swing. "K'nosh re' dah."
she commented softly in her native tongue.

Joe spun around taking the head off of another Reman solider then giving a hard kick to another sending him staggering
towards Selgae.

Selgae blinked as she caught sight of her next opponent coming to her, she then leapt up as she lashed out with her feet,
her claws sinking into his flesh as she swung her feet from left to right before landing in a heap at the Reman's feet as he
fell over backwards.

She quickly climbed to her feet, still looking like something from a nightmare, considering she was covered in blood.

Joe stood there looking around his bat'leth in his hand still: "Shall we go to the next level or shall we call it a day?"

Selgae paused. "I think we've learned how to defend a stationary target against a heavily armed, mobile force... I
personally think we should call it here sir." she paused again. "then review what we've learned then evaluate what we've
learned.."

Joe nodded:"Agreed. Computer end program." Just then everything disappeared and turned back to the yellow and black.

Selgae stood, she was almost out of breathe as she slowly panted for air, her hands on her thighs as she looked down before
slowly catching her breathe but she was still wearing two coats of blood, one Orion and one Reman so she looked almost like
a nightmarish apparition from an old style horror movie, her face was covered in blood and her uniform was a complete and
total write off.

Joe stood there:"Everyone take a shower and grab a meal then meet in my office in 3 hours." He then walked out.

Selgae nodded her furred head as she pushed her fur out of her eyes. "Yessir." and with that, she followed the Commander
out the door.
