Mission:
Mission 7: Finding My Way
Location: Promenade - Starbase 400
Timeline: 1200Hrs - March 9th, 2389
Lieutenant Siaxx Dvald walked beside the larger human woman as they both had just finished their shifts in the Infirmary. "Doctor Morrissey still owes me for betting me on the Lord of the Rings... I didn't enjoy it.... got to page sixty and gave up." she explained. "I won that bet but I'm considering offering him an out instead of what he actually bet me... which was two bottles of Rigellian whiskey." she explained.
"An out?" Tressa asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I think he wants my body... I'm not sure." she shrugged. "If he wishes mindless sex then thats fine by me."
The doctor smiled, "Rob is a very nice man, easy to look at too," she said.
"Yes he is.... but I sometimes want more then just a casual time in bed..." she responded. "but you're right, Rob is a nice guy, easy on the eyes too...but still a girl has to have her standards..." she then grinned. "but then... if I took him to bed.... he'd win for betting badly.... I can't do that as that goes against my principles.."
"Quite the pickle, then. So, Rigellian whiskey it is?"
"I thought about it." Siaxx admitted. "I can use the bottles elsewhere.." as she smiled.
"I've never tried the stuff myself, I prefer wine to liquor on those rare occasions when I drink."
"I don't drink in large amounts. I have a half dozen other bottles from other bets, I keep them stored in a cooler I replicated specifically for the purpose of looking after alcohol." the Bolian explained. "Two drinks to me is like eight for you." she shrugged with a smile. "Its the Bolian in me, we can't handle a lot of booze."
"You're serious about your liquor, aren't you? An occasional glass of wine is all I ever have time for, usually a nice crisp Riesling or a fruit wine," Tressa replied.
"I don't drink often. Just when I do... I either nurse it or I just go get hammered." the Bolian responded evenly. "Bolian metabolism can't process that much abuse all at once so we get drunk a hell of a lot faster then you do."
the Bolian shrugged as she smiled. "I'm told I'm cheap but not easy."
"Well you're buying the first round," Tressa said with a laugh. "I'm only having one or two, if I have any more than that I'll fall asleep!"
"Booze does different things to me... sometimes I get happy or sleepy... or just really horny." she explained as she chuckled.
"I think I've forgotten what that feels like."
Siaxx knew exactly what part Tressa was referring to. "Just need to find the right guy... the rest will attend to itself." the Bolian smiled. "Me... I tend to be rather casual about it, no sense repressing my emotions for anyone or anything." she added. "so... where are you from anyway.... from Earth or one of her colonies?" she inquired. "The only Yamaguchi from Earth is Jake... the rest were all born on Starships and Torilla is not human.." she commented as she turned her head to regard the Doctor. "But isn't she hot though?" her grin widened.
"She is very attractive, yes, and married," Tressa said with a mock-stern look. "I'm from Earth, the Chesapeake Bay in Eastern America. My stepmother still has a house there."
"Torilla is Halanian, it means she can can't see anyone else so long as her husband is alive. Its something in the hormones that connect them on a
almost physical level, a foolish error in genetics if you ask me.... if one dies then the other can't move on." she shook her head. "I don't understand how a system like that actually evolves..."
"It is fascinating, isn't it? The more I learn about biologies the more questions I have," the doctor said. The walked into the Promenade. "Where shall we partake?" she asked, looking around.
Siaxx looked from left to right as a smile graced her lips. "Mmm... Somewhere small and quiet.. we're just after coffee and a light meal afteral" she gave Tressa a look. "Still.. How does a Bolian and a Klingon have a child and what would the child look like.... a Blue skinned Klingon?" she inquired as she smiled. "would they even be compatible?" she shrugged. "one wonders if Torilla and Jake had help with their three..."
"We'd have to search the Med records for cross-species offspring, Starfleet tracks all live births for genetic research. Interesting to check out."
"Do we want to bother?" she inquired. "If I wind up with a human... you can come to me for research" the Bolian commented evenly. "Besides... to me, sex is almost a form of exersise so I don't really worry about it too much."
Tressa just shook her head and smiled at her companion as they walked into a cafe. "No wonder you think I need a man, my life must seem so boring to you."
"I wouldn't put it quite like that." Siaxx responded. "Bolian's have six men to one girl." she commented. "so I'm used to having men fight over me. "That's we have two or three husbands for one woman. It can demand a lot from us so I prefer offworld."
"Those are tough odds, but I've heard Bolian men are very aggressive. At least compared to human males," Tressa said.
"They are... They also have a sport called Adel'iin, a form of wrestling in water, good for sex too if you like it rough and brutal." she then smiled, clearly she knew what it was like. "Its not for the lighthearted..." she added.
"Three is the maximum permitted in this crowd... otherwise someone gets hurt badly."
"Hmmm, sounds pretty wild. I've never heard of that."
"Its not well known outside Bolian circles" Siaxx explained evenly. "and even then its used for fighting and not sex." she raised an eyebrow. "Could you handle being held underwater with some guy wanting to fuck you silly?" she
inquired. "one risks drowning." she shrugged. "You, me and anyone else really."
"I'm not that good a swimmer, Siaxx. I like to be able to breathe," Tressa said with a grin.
Siaxx returned her smile with one of her own. "While some guy is trying his best to make you enjoy brutal sex?" she shrugged. "or some girl for that matter." she chuckled softly "Hell... even I don't go for that sort of abuse and if I won't then I don't think you would either." she looked Tressa the once over. "Still... I think you'd look great in only your skin..."
Tressa laughed as they were seated by a young host. "That's the closest I've had to an offer in two years!"
Siaxx smiled. "Depends on your style, do you prefer men... or women or do you not care?" she inquired. "I tell ya what. come back with me to my place and I'll show you how the magic works... its open ended. Let me know when you need help with that itch you can't scratch..."
Tressa smiled. "Well, right now I would like a bowl of the minestrone," the doctor answered with a smile.
"Alright... works for me.... I find I prefer stuff in my soup rather then liquid broth." Siaxx followed the change in conversation and followed along effortlessly.
Tressa chucked as the women looked over the menu. "I'm afraid you'll find my girl-talk rather boring, my life is not so exciting as yours my friend."
"That's not bad actually." Siaxx commented. "I don't have children so I don't need to worry.... you on the other hand have to worry.... foisting the kids off on Rachael wouldn't be right... You know what she wants don't you?" Siaxx looked at Tressa. "I almost feel sorry for Paul Harrison.... Rachael has it bad for him.... lust that is..."
"Racheal... but she seems to like spending time with them. You think she doesn't want to watch them?" Tressa asked, her voice full of concern. She didn't want to burden the teen.
"Rachael isn't like many... she's too responsible for her own good." Siaxx explained. "It comes from her time of bloom which should be ending pretty quick here." the Bolian explained evenly. "Now she's a lot more powerful then most and as you know.... with great power, comes great responsibility." she shrugged. "besides. I think she likes your two."
"I think so too, but I don't want to put any more responsibility on her shoulders. She's young, she wants to have some fun. I can understand that."
"Rachael is unusual, that's for sure but I don't think she cares for many of the other children on base.." Siaxx commented. "She tends to be very selective about who she calls friend."
"Maybe I should talk to her about it? I've been relying on her quite a lot lately," Tressa said.
"Probably not a bad idea and.... leave her mother out of it." Siaxx commented.
"Torilla has enough to worry abut with her grandson that she's looking after."
"I'll have a talk with her then, try to give her some more time to herself. Zuzanna might be able to take them after school since her children are only a year older."
Siaxx nodded her head slowly. "Be gentle about it... I think she likes your kids, if you're not careful you might start an incident..."
The small Bolian shrugged. "But if you play your cards right... It could lead to something interesting between you two." as she smiled.
