Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1900Hrs - September 22nd, 2393

Major Rosa Tyrell smiled as she regarded her nude form in the floor-length mirror in her bedroom, she missed her husband and children but at times she did not miss them either as she found that she tended to value peace and quiet along with the accompanying silence from time to time. She noticed that she didn't have an ounce of fat anywhere on her lithe body, she then quickly knelt down to pick up the discarded uniform that she had dumped on the floor as soon as she had gotten home. She draped the uniform jacket over the back of a nearby chair while she quickly folded up her uniform undershirt and pants which she kept by her bedside in case she was ever awoken while she slept.

The Bolian discarded the underwear by recycling them via the replicator before she plucked a towel off of the rack and then she went into the bathroom so she could take care of her cleaning needs, she hung the towel up next to the shower before turning it on, she then opened the door and stepped inside.

If it was one thing Tyrell greatly enjoyed it was sex while immersed in hot water, it was how she had met her first husband who presently was wearing the rank of Lt Commander, he was a medical officer on Starbase Seventy Three. Thinking of Rusan made Tyrell smile, she missed him and the passion that he brought with him, he could ensure that she got hers repeatedly and that was what had led to their three children coming along. She missed him and their kids, but she had a job to do and she knew it too.

Tyrell grasped a towel before she moved into the bathroom, letting the door close behind her.

Twenty minutes later the Boilian emerged with a darker shade of blue as she was of the type of person to run scalding hot water to wash. Many of her bedmates had complained it tended to be too hot for them to tolerate, the winsome Bolian feeling refreshed, with her skin tone being two shades darker then it was twenty minutes earlier as she truly loved hot water, she moved into her bedroom as she began to dry off, then she donned her new clothing. Moments later she moved into her living space as she ordered herself something small to eat from the replicator as she was not feeling very hungry.

Tyrell smiled as she went through her bowl of vegetable soup as she added two slices of toast. The meal was simple but it was enjoyable for her as she smiled but then she was a woman of simple pleasures as she picked up the PADD and began to call up that days mail she had yet to see, in it were five items demanding her attention. Two were letters from her children, a third was from her husband and two more were items of administration work, one of which she was aware of and had decided that she would deal with tomorrow which left the last one being several items from the Starbase Merchants Association, mostly it was full of flyers indicating sales or things she would want to buy but never use as she quickly went through the items, in under five minutes, eventually deleting the mail in question. Tyrell was not a big buyer of items as she tended to not need or want much.

She moved onto the item of administrative paperwork, it was regarding two marine unit exercises, one for the 145th Marine Infantry Regiment and the second was for the 118th Marine Engineer Regiment. Tyrell knew that Colonels Burgoyne and Tienn ran tight ships and would ensure that all was done on time but one of the items attached was equipment requisitions. Tyrell raised an eyebrow as she approved it and then sent it off to the administration guys she worked with for their say so on the matters at hand.

Tyrell's job most of the time was a rather simple and dull affair but it was the odd occasions when it wasn't, which was when things got exciting for her.
In truth, she was a woman who hated it when other people got overly demanding of her. She was capable of serving as a line marine but her life was so much easier when she didn't have to do so but she was also much more subtle than the average. "Why do marines always gotta try to be badasses, even when it's not needed or required...?" she asked herself aloud when she noted a report about a scuffle that had broken out between two drunk marines and the shore patrol. Apparently the two were getting rowdy and had caused enough of a ruckus to warrant their removal to the stockade when both marines started a brawl which landed three others in sickbay along with one person from security.

Tyrell sighed softly as she knew her workload never got any lighter, regardless of how much time she sank into it. She placed the PADD down as she mentally reminded herself why it was that she hated bringing her work home.
