Danger Close - Part Four

Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - USS Charal
Timeline: 1030Hrs - September 26th, 2393

Commander Ethan Duval entered sickbay, he found one of the medical staff giving Commander Victoria Yamaguchi the once over, she seemed to be enjoying the attention while she wore the security charlie version of the uniform, a slinky getup that was designed to accent her sex appeal and make her look dangerous at the same time. "Commander, you alright?" Duval addressed Yamaguchi. She was wearing a pair of pants and shoes, in addition to the crop top which left her midriff bare, she also had a belt with a rather evil-looking dagger on it, in addition to two phaser sidearms.

Yamaguchi nodded her head. "The Doctor wanted to do the coming aboard physical," she explained.

"Makes sense. Though to make the picture complete, I'm surprised someone in here isn't having sex at present."

"Yes, that would make the scene complete, they did a good job with the signage in all the important locations," Yamaguchi answered in a deadpan tone of voice.

"How long will you be?" Duval regarded the attractive female before him.

"I'm finished," Yamaguchi answered. "Doctor Emble is updating my records as we speak." she indicated the office nearby with the doctor inside.

"Good. So how is everything going.?" Duval wanted to know what she would report to the skipper when she got there.

"We'll be finished in a few hours, Ouros will be briefing all of the security and marines, but you know how she is.?" Yamaguchi asked with a smile on her face.

"I do, I trained her, remember," Duval answered as the massive medical officer came over. "Alright Commander, you're free to go, thanks for dropping in." before he nodded to Duval. "Is everything alright Commander?" he asked formally of Duval who nodded. "I'm good. I'm here for her." he indicated Yamaguchi with his hand as he spoke.

"No worries," Emble answered with a nod. "All sickbay matters are finished. With your approval. I'm going to send everyone home as per your orders, I'm also going to tell second and third shift to not come in but fourth can come in five hours late and make sure we're ready to leave the dock." the Doctor explained his intentions and plans, he was sure he had covered everything but he wanted to get Duval's okay before he proceeded.

"Grand. Proceed, Doctor." Duval answered with a smile.

Emble turned away as Yamaguchi hopped off of the bed, before she fell into step beside Duval as the two departed sickbay, their next stop was Main Engineering. "What do you think?" he regarded Victoria as he spoke.

"They are an excellent crew. I will happily take these guys up against the ISS Enterprise or the ISS Glory," she explained. "They are very well trained and very loyal to their skipper," she added, the two moved into a turbolift car as she looked up at him. "Main Engineering," Duval commented as Victoria repeated what he said a moment later before she turned and looked up at him. "Do you think we can pull this mission off.?"

"I do," Duval paused. "You and... the skipper?" Duval answered, without hesitation. "We will make the Empire sorry they ever crossed us," he added.

"I'm not so sure."

"Victoria." Duval addressed her. "We don't get to have doubts. This crew deserves to know they are being led by the best and that's us. I know what you want out of this mission and had you had the chance, you'd go off and knock over the facility yourself. Without backup... But you need to have a little faith..." he commented.

Yamaguchi paused. "I know... But that doesn't mean I need to like it."

"I know... But we will make this right, somehow." Duval answered as the doors opened and they both stepped out, before moving into Main Engineering which was a beehive of activity, but it seemed to be somewhat dying down as several engineers were checking kits and another few were doing some diagnostics. Standing at the large pool table with an image of the ship's master system display except it was oriented to show the ship as if viewed from the top down was displayed. The man in question was wearing a set of Engineering overalls and many of his people were wearing an armored variant of the imperial uniform.

Lt Commander Micheal "Oddball" Banes stood, looking menacing and downright menacing as he checked the workload of his people before he noticed the two new arrivals. "Lo Commanders, what can I do for you?" he asked with a smile.

"We're looking for an update on things down here.?" Yamaguchi inquired of the man before her, as she gave him her best come hither smile.

Banes noted the look in her eye and he could see that she was serious. "We're just finishing up the last of the workload now, once we finish which hopefully should be sometime in the next hour, I'm going to send this watch home, then tell watches two and three to not bother coming in... the Starbase techs and mechs can handle things for us but I'll tell shift four to come in five hours late and make sure that we can get underway when the time comes."

"Excellent work Commander," Duval commented with a rather amused air. "Should I leave you here so you two can become better acquainted?" as he too, had noticed that Yamaguchi was giving him the eye and she was not being subtle either.

"Yes," Yamaguchi answered as Banes commented. "No."

Duval wanted to laugh so he decided to let out a loud laugh at the two people before him. "Chief, it is what would be expected... You would take her into your office and then fuck her. Its a normal thing in the reality we're going to."

"Disgusting." the Chief answered. "I prefer my bedmates to have some say in the matter."

"That is what separates this reality from that one... and why the Federation is still the Federation and not a twisted, tainted, fallen version of itself."
Yamaguchi explained. "Your restraint and your respect," she explained. "Anyone of the female gender in the reality we're going to is more or less a second class citizen. If a guy wants something from us, we are required to help them with their various needs..." she then shrugged. "Some fight back but this is a world that gets off on brutalizing, tormenting and generally treating others like garbage."

Banes paused. "I didn't think of it like that." he paused. "Were you serious about letting me have you?"

"I was... I still am." Yamaguchi answered bluntly.

"I must refuse you, Commander. If this mission succeeds and we come home with our prizes, then I will take you up on your officer but not until then."

"Fair enough." and with that, she turned and marched out the door, Duval followed in silence. The two moved back into the turbolift. "Main Bridge," Duval said as Enyo suddenly grinned. "She is a great kisser..." Duval paused. "You and... the skipper?"

Enyo regarded Duval. "She's quite the athlete, the memory of her tongue will remain with me for a while yet," she added. As the turbolift started moving a moment later and a moment later that, the two were on the main bridge, as Gilmore was still sitting in her command chair. "Report you two?"

"We're almost ready skipper," Yamaguchi answered with a grin. "We will be ready to go on time."

"Grand," Gilmore answered with a grin before she winked at Duval upon noticing his discomfort.
