Lt Commander Lindsey Watseka was many things, she was tall and curvy, her dark red hair was tied back and her green eyes shone with intelligence. A call for assistance had come on and now Watseka was busily organizing her response. "Come on guys, let's go," she commented as she waited for the half dozen security troopers to gather their gear when the last one was finished, she nodded. "Let's go." and with that, she led her four charges down the hallway, towards the briefing lounge where thge call for help had come in.

Watseka reached their destination when she suddenly raised her fist, commanding her troops to halt. She drew the tricorder off of her belt as she nodded. "Okay, no weapons in use," she explained evenly as she rose to her feet, she then moved through the doors to find a half dozen people fighting. "Okay, everyone stand down now!. Or I will stun you," she commanded.

Watseka was outright ignored. So she simply knew what her next move was to be. "Drop em," she said to her guys as they proceeded to stun more or less everyone who was standing. "Alright, tags the ones who were brawling and send them to the brig, anyone else, send them to sickbay." she sighed. "Call in Lieutenant Blair. We'll need his skills for this one as well."

"Aye sir." one of the other security troops answered before he departed the briefing lounge, he went out the door before he tapped his combadge. "Security team three to Lieutenant Blair?"

"This is Blair, go ahead?" came the answer.

"El-Tee, could you come down to briefing lounge two, with your CSI kit. We've had a brawl and the Commander wants you to go over things and make sure we have all our ducks in a row."

"Yeah. I'm on my way. Is there anything special I need to bring?" Blair's response was as simple as it was direct.

"Negative, Just your normal gear." the man answered. "Confirmed, I'm on my way now., Blair out." and with that, the com system went silent. Ensign Joe Patel went back into the lounge, to find less then a third of the bodies remained. "Commander. Lieutenant Blair is on his way." Watseka nodded her head. "Good, we'll soon get to the bottom of this mess." the tall woman answered with a confident smile on her face. "Joe, start pulling the tapes. Malcolm, head on down to sickbay and start the interviews. I'll go with you and Torin, you get the reports from the guys in the brig and start the questioning of our prisoners. Something made them all lose their collective minds and I wanna know what it is so I can brief the skipper. He will ask me that question." she paused. "Marcus, you and James will remain here, police these scene with Lieutenant Blair but nobody gets in here without his say so or before he clears the room for further uses." she paused a moment. "Any questions?"

Thre three poeple all shook their heads no in silence.

"Alright, times a wasting. Let's get to it." Watseka added.

The three people nodded before they each went to their separate tasks.

Lt Commander Watseka moved down the hallway, her tricorder in hand as she frowned, something here was amiss, Engineers normally didn't get into brawls so something here must have triggered this brawl, this was why she wished to look into this matter herself with interviewing Commander Stark while she was in sickbay. The tall human female reached her destination a short time later before she moved over to the first doctor she saw. "Hello. I'm looking for Commander Stark, do you know where she is?"

The young man indicated a biobed where the large Orion female lay, she seemed to be asleep. "Can I talk to her?" Watseka inquired.

The man regarded Watseka for a moment, while he considered it. "I'll wake her but... I'll ask you to be gentle with her."

Watseka nodded her head. "Okay. I just wish to ask her a few questions and then I'll leave her to rest."

Satisfied for the moment, the Doctor prepared his medication before he gently woke the large Orion female. "Easy Commander. Its gonna be alright." the tall human said in a gentle tone of voice to the Orion female before her. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I just had my face smashed in... One moment, everyone was fine but then someone said something about the human defense league and all shit breaks loose." the Orion shook her head. "I don't get it."

Watseka could say a lot of words but what grabbed her attention most was the term of the human defense league. She had not heard that name in a long time. "Human Defense League... Now there's a name I don't hear often. I heard they were recruiting and expanding their operations..." she explained for the benefit of the Orion woman before her. "They are a human-centric group that was a fringe group until recently that is... With all the Caitians breeds and their numbers, looking set to pass humans as the most numerous of the Federation species, the humans look set to lose their edge in the power-sharing arrangements of the Federation."

"Lovely." Stark sighed softly "Do you think we have some on our ship?"

"Yes, I do. We need to be careful and weed them out quickly." Watseka answered with a smile. "Or this will only get worse from here."
