Mission: Mission 95: Through the Looking Glass
Location: Various Locations - USS Farragut
Timeline: 2030Hrs - July 29th, 2392

Captain Marie Yamaguchi limped down the hallway, she looked like someone had beaten the ever living daylights out of her which in fact someone had done not even twenty minutes ago. The battered, bleeding and broken woman walked into sickbay. "I need.. to see.. the doctor," Marie commented softly.

"Commander!" the nurse yelled as she helped Marie.

"Nurse, I told you not to call me..." Gail then noticed Yamaguchi. "Marie! What the hell happened to you?"

Marie winced. "Neban decided he wanted something I didn't want to give him." she paused. "He raped me." she let out a cry of pain.

"Alright Marie, I'm putting you on the treatment bed," Gail told her as she helped her through sickbay. She put Marie on the bed with a nurse running a tricorder over her. She stepped out of the chamber and looked at the other nurse, "Get the sexual assault team in here. Also, contact security."

"Yes, doctor." She replied and turned away.

Gail re-entered the room. "Alright Marie, we'll get you better."

Marie sighed softly as she hoisted herself onto the bed. "I feel used," she growled softly.

"Don't worry about that right now. I need to know where you're injured. Tell me where you're in pain Marie?" Hobbs asked.

Yamaguchi pointed to her crotch. "He assaulted me." she paused. "He also beat me. It gets a little hazy after he finished the first time and the blow to my face."

"Okay, I'm going to give you something for the pain." Gail told Marie as she injected her with a hypospray. It was then several other female med techs and nurses entered. "Before I can start treating your wounds though, I need to document them. This shouldn't take long though. Are you in any pain?"

Yamaguchi nodded her head. "He beat me." she paused. "I'm surprised I was able to walk here Doctor."

"Indeed he did. I'm looking over your injuries now. You still didn't answer my question. Are you in pain Marie?" Hobbs asked.

Marie blinked. "Yes," she answered. "Have you ever been through something like this Doctor?" she inquired bluntly.

"No, I haven't," Hobbs answered. "We're almost done going over your wounds. In the meantime, I'll give you a little more painkiller."

It was then that Ajax Rohr entered with two security guards. Gail shot over to them. "Why are you bringing them in here? Are you that insensitive?"

"We need to make sure the victim is safe. To be honest, her feelings are not my concern right now." Ajax told Gail. "I will, however, have them keep a low profile."

"Your so thoughtful," Gail told him sarcastically.

"I do need to talk to her directly before I arrest Neban," Ajax told her, ignoring her slight.

"So you haven't even captured him yet?" Gail asked.

"I have several teams surrounding him. Before I can make a formal arrest I need to have a confirmation from the victim." He informed her.

"Alright, make it quick though," Hobbs told him.

Ajax didn't respond to Hobbs and went straight to Marie. "Captain, who attacked you?" He asked.

"Lieutenant Neban Hular. Make him suffer." Yamaguchi answered.

Ajax nodded. "Thank you, Captain. Ajax to security, I'm moving up to arrest Lieutenant Hular. If you see him keep him contained and do not make contact until I give the go ahead." Ajax then left.

"Alright, now that unpleasantness is over I'll give you some more painkiller. We'll start treatments now. You have plenty of bones to mend." Hobbs told Yamaguchi.

Yamaguchi nodded. "Okay." she sighed softly. "It hurts. I want to rip his head off his shoulders."

"That's understandable," Hobbs replied. "You don't need to be awake. Would you like to go out?"

"Yes. I don't want to see this or feel it." she paused. "I don't wanna remember."

"Alright, I'm giving you an injection now." She told her. "Now count out loud to twenty for me."

Yamaguchi blinked as she began counting. "One. Two." as she counted she began to sound more and more groggy before she passed out by the count of five.

"Nighty night Captain," Gail told her as she mended her wounds.

Marie blinked as she slowly woke up, she had no idea of how long she was out. "Mmmm.." she paused. "Pains gone.." she commented. "How bad was it?"

"It was bad Captain: broken bones, bruising, and plenty of bleeding. And yes, you were sexually assaulted. I'll let you return to quarters if you promise to rest. That means no duty. I've talked to McKnight so he knows your general condition. Rest Captain, that's an official order." Hobbs told Marie.

"Yes Doctor," Marie responded as she slowly sat up. "Neban Hular. He will pay. Oh, how he will pay for this.." she whispered, more to herself than to anyone else.

"There is plenty of time to deal with that. Right now, you need rest." She gently told her. "Is there anyone you want to be with right now?"

"No," Marie answered quietly before she sighed softly.

Gail went to the monitor to check Marie's next of kin. She sighed at the meager list of names. "You really need to be with someone. How do you spend your free time with Marie?"

"I prefer to be alone. Much easier that way." Marie answered quietly. "My family are all dead, except my sister who is unhinged."

Marie didn't tell Gail anything she didn't know. Marie was alone in this world. Despite what Marie told Gail, she knew the worst thing that could happen is for a rape victim to be alone while traumatized. "Why don't you stay here for a couple of days?"

"I can't Doctor. I have a ship to command." Marie answered softly.

"Commander McKnight is capable of running the ship for a few days. Besides, you're in no shape to give orders Marie." Gail told Marie in a calm tone.

Yamaguchi regarded the other woman. "Alright... I'll remain here." she let out a sigh.

"Thank you, Marie," Gail told her with a soft smile. "Hobbs to McKnight," Gail called over the ship.

"McKnight." the response came back. "What do you want?" he commented in a rather cold tone.

Gail was almost used to the slights thrown at her. Almost. "Captain Yamaguchi will be in sickbay for the next forty-eight hours. Until then, the Farragut is yours."

"Why thank you, Doctor. I'll be sure to note that in my log. McKnight out." he sneered at her.

"Dick," Gail answered back. "Okay Marie, let me know if you need anything?"

Marie nodded. "Alright." she sighed softly.

"Alright, I'll be on duty for the next few hours," Gail told her. "I'm off to get a late meal. Do you need anything?"

"No.. Thank you... I'll be fine." Yamaguchi answered before she sighed.
