Mission: Mission 72: T'Would Ring the Bells of Heaven
Location: Deep Space - Near Deveron System
Timeline: 1300Hrs - April 5th, 2392

D'Tan regarded the several dozen PADD's on his desk, he knew he was asking a great deal of his people in the days, weeks and months ahead. "There will be a lot of hardship on the road ahead." one of his Federation officers had mentioned to him, in truth, he could see the value of the sentiment.

The com system beeped at him. "D'Tan, We have reached the rendezvous point... We're not alone."

"I am on my way." D'Tan rose to his feet and went out the door to his next destination. The young Romulan male walked onto the bridge. "Commander?"

"Six other ships have arrived to greet us... They are hailing us."

D'Tan nodded his head. "May I address them?"

"Open channel." the Romulan officer responded as a block image of several faces all appeared together. "Well, D'Tan. You asked and we came... I hope this was worth it.." responded one of them

"Indeed. We have little time before the Star Empire discovers this and responds in force." replied a second.

"That's why we have come here.. This area is neutral ground and is not claimed by anyone," D'Tan responded. "I'd like to get started with the summit right away."

"Agreed... But no trickery D'Tan." responded another of the Romulan leaders present. "We will hear what you have to say to us."

Meanwhile, surrounding D'Tan's ship was a force of one Valdore and several smaller ships, all commanded by a young Romulan male named Temer but what made this guy special was that he was able to get along with the Remans. "You anticipate trouble?" Temer asked his companion

Obisek nodded his head. "I do." he turned to face Temer. I had the best call on my ship... Jolan Tru my friend."

"To you as well," Temer responded as he watched Obisek walk-off of his bridge, heading back to his own small force of ships that were here representing someone else. Temer hoped that the various factions here could unite and work together to rebuild the Empire or whatever name their nation-state would carry on serving with.

Meanwhile elsewhere the Romulan Star Empire had a small force concentrated around one D'deridex class Warbird, two more ships were of the Mogai class and a third which was a variant called the Valdore class. All in all the three ships had advantages over the larger warbirds and against the Mogai, it had extra armour but its shields were not quite as strong, it had a stronger weapons loadout but its sensors were not as good.

Commander Verruk smiled softly to herself as she knew why they were assembled here as she was prepared to bring justice and expunge the stain of dishonour once and for all from the EMpire's history. She rose to her feet and went onto her bridge. "All stations report?"

The various officers all turned and began making their various reports when it was their turn to do so. "Tal Shiar ready... We will find out how far this cancer has spread."

"Very well.. we move out in ten.. and attack in an hour," Verruk responded with a rather sinister smile on her lips.
