Mission: Mission 72: T'Would Ring the Bells of Heaven
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: Apr 5th 2392

Division Admiral Kumirae looked out of her cockpit viewport as she pulled her craft into the hangar bay of Roanoke. As much as her staff officer protected, the Female Kurokuri decided she was going to fly herself to the battlegroup. The new fleet Carrier USS Tiger's Claw, still with her temporary crew had ferried a number of fighters to the system, and Kumirae decided to take one to the Roanoke, to get acquainted with the battlegroup. Admittedly she didn't care much for fighters, but she still knew how to fly them fairly effectively. So she patiently waited her turn as dozens of fighters where added to the Roanoke's hangar spaces, most of them slated for conversion in the drone program. Hers was the last bird to land.

Chief Warrant Officer Tiron Fordring noticed the last bird landing so he waved to Senior Technician Robert Spence, the man jogged over to Forting. "Hey Master Chief."

"We got one last bird to look at.. come on.." Fordring commented as the canopy retracted open, revealing the pilot. "Wait.. thats Hakaya.. Whats she doing here?" Robbie commented.

Fordring narrowed his eyes. "Lets go ask her.." he commented but upon drawing closer. He noticed something. "Roobie.. Thats not Hakaya." he commented quietly.

"Ookay.." Spence responded as the two men approached the fighter as several maintenance techs rushed over with a ladder. Fordring waited at the bottom of the ladder as he regarded the small being. "Welcome aboard the Roanoke." he clearly had no idea of who she was.

Spence meanwhile began the process of looking the bird over. "Wait... You're an Admiral." he addressed the small being. Fordring didn't miss a beat. "I'm sure your welcoming committee is late."

Kumirae pulled off her helmet and looked up at Fordring with relative indifference. "If your going to complain at me for flying myself over here, don't bother, I don't need my hand held like some damn royalty."

Kumirae then removed her flight suit, leaving her in nothing but her fur.

Fordring simply raised an eyebrow, clearly used to be addressed as such. "I seldom see an Admiral doing some real work... I wasn't going to complain.. I see it as wasteful and unproductive. In any case as I said... Welcome aboard the USS Flying Circus." Fordring commented in a flat, almost dull tone.

"He's actually quite cheerful when you get to know him." Spence supplied helpfully.

"Indeed." Fordrings tone did not change.

Kumirae pulled her rank badge off her flight suit and put it on her arm, then she went straight to the point. "Where is the commander of this ships squadron."

"That would be Commodore Tane... and I have no idea where that... woman is." he paused. "She's probably in her office getting stoned at this point or on the flag bridge doing nothing." it was clear that Fordring didn't know or care either.

Kumirae clearly had no interest in Zara. "then I'll just talk to your captain, who is he."

"That'll be Captain Teval Vakar. He's up on the bridge or in his office." Fordring explained. "He is a Kurokuri, much like yourself."

Kumirae nodded and left the hangar deck without a saying anything else. Minutes later she walked onto Roanoke's bridge and the moment she did, a new ensign whom just noticed her arrival went to attention and shouted. "Admiral on Deck."

Everyone came to attention as Commander Tom Lasky glared darkly at the ensign in question. Meanwhile Shadow who had been sleeping in what would have been the Chief Counselor's chair had this been any other starship simply woke up, she sensed her master's anger as she growled softly, before raising her hackles and baring her claws. "Easy Shadow... No prey for you today." he commented as he turned to address the new arrival. "Welcome aboard Admiral... I assume you are here to see Teval?" Lasky inquired of the small Kurokuri.

Kumirae glared at the ensign," everyone else can stand down, he however can continue to stand at attention." She then turned her attention to Lasky. "Yes, I am here to see him, if you don't mind, Though I would like to have a word with you to."

"He's in the ready room." Lasky responded. "I assume you want me present for this?" he inquired of her.

The Kurokuri admiral nodded. "Yep." And without further hesitation she went straight to the ready room, hitting the Door chime.

Teval whom was just finishing the last of his paperwork replied.
"Enter."

Kumirae opened the door and walked in. "Your Captain Teval Vakar right."

Teval looked up, somewhat surprised at seeing a fellow Kurokuri, but she wasn't one he recognized. However he did notice the Division admiral Rank badge," I take it your the reason someone shouted admiral on deck."

Kumirae looked out at the ensign who was still at attention. "Yes, it seems people dont like me moving around unnoticed. despite me being in starfleet for as long as I have, I still don't care for all the formality."

"Nor do I," Teval replied as Lasky came into the room.

Lasky followed the smaller being into the ready room, Shadow was in his arms and her tail was waving around which indicated she as in less then a good mood. Lasky gently set her down on the sofa as she moved over to the large water bowl that was nearby.

Lasky for his part simply took a seat and waited for Kumirae to begin.
