Mission: Mission 72: T'Would Ring the Bells of Heaven
Location: Various Locations - USS Courageous
Timeline: 1800Hrs - March 25th, 2392

Lieutenant Colonel John Burgoyone had just returned home a short time earlier, he had kicked off his boots and slipped off the uniform jacket as he draped it across the back of one of the nearby chairs, while he did so, he could hear the soft singing of his wife Calliope who was nearby, she often finished her work before Burgoyne himself did. "Calliope?" he called her name, mostly because he wanted to be sure that she was home.

Pravdin poked her head out of the bedroom. "Oh.. Hey John.. You look annoyed.. Who needs to suffer?" her smile always made Burgoyne feel better. "No really, who needs to suffer?"

"Oh, you gotta hear this tale for yourself. Considering you were mentioned in it." Burgoyne moved towards his wife.

Pravdin's smile evaporated as she retreated into the bedroom. "Whats going on?" her husband right behind her, she was wearing only her underwear which was honestly very little.

"You recall a certain James Bremer?" Burgoyne inquired of his wife.

"You mean the Bastard of Bremer... as he's known in various circles.. What has he done now?" she inquired, her annoyance growing by the moment, clearly she knew exactly who this guy was. "Molested some animal?" she inquired in a snide tone. "Or was it a ten year old girl?" there was something in her tone that indicated that she knew this guy or that she had some dealings with or about him in the not too distant past.

"No... He did however threaten to rape you and make you enjoy it." Burgoyne explained for her benefit.

Calliope was not laughing and neither was she taking this lightly either. "Oh really now." she responded lightly. "I assume you were there?" she inquired with a smile.

"Oh yes... I kinda.. well... Smashed his nose flat for it." Burgoyne smiled softly when he admitted to smashing the man's nose flat. "What?. The rat bastard had it coming."

"Good." Pravdin suddenly grinned at her husband. "I almost wish I had been present.... But this one I'm glad I missed." she added as she sat down on the bed. Burgoyne sat down behind his wife as he gently placed his hands on her shoulders. "If Bremer actually tries to carry out his threat.. He's gonna die.."

Pravdin smiled softly. "Oh noo.. Thats too nice for him, husband of mine." she peered over her right shoulder as she gave him an impish smile. "Still.. This level of shit talking cannot go unanswered. I must avenge myself upon him... Mmmm.."

John knew how his wife thought as the two had been together in various forms since their first meeting during a cadet exercise gone badly wrong. He had ended up saving her life during a cave in and she had ended up saving his life not ten minutes later. The two of them started as friends and their relationship bloomed quickly but neither of them were willing to rush things, she had a lot of training to do and he did likewise.

Burgoyne gently massaged her shoulders. "So.. what else happened to you today. Other then someone threatening you." he inquired of his wife.

"Nothing much.. Other then getting it through Hae Min Lee's head that she was having a baby...."

"Oh?" Burgoyne responded, a gentle smile on his face as he gently gave his wife a kiss on the neck. "How did that go?"

"Well... " she turned to face him, she had a wide smile on her face. "She is one of the most stubborn people I've ever met. How Rachael Falanner puts up with her is honestly beyond me at times.!"

Burgoyne chuckled softly as he gently hugged her. "I hope you are not as stubborn when the time comes..."

"Yeah well.. I'll do what I can..." Pravdin responded with a smile. "So now I have more to deal with... Including the bastard of Bremer.. I will.. make his payment for her mouth most painful." as she paused. "Oh yes. I remember now.. I need to redo all of his shots.. He's behind on them."

"Why not ask Captain Yamaguchi to handle him?"

"Ooh no. I will leave the good Captain out of this one and handle him myself." Pravdin responded with a smile. "Though, knowing Torilla... She'll become involved soon enough."

"Considering I had him arrested for conduct unbecoming, uttering threats and the like... Yeah, the skipper will come see me and not you." as he gently worked his hand behind his wife's back.

Pravdin smiled as he gently unclasped her bra. "Yep... But enough talk?"

"Yes.." Burgoyne responded. "Enough for now.." as he gently kissed his wife on the lips.
