Chancellor L'gran, son of Shestrurg read the PADD in his hand, before letting out a sigh. "How am I supposed to win this war if my troops desert me!" he protested to his advisor.

"You lost a third of your fleet chasing down five freighters." came the response.

"I didn't expect the second attack from Tethi. That slut is semi-capable. I will make her my concubine when I finish with her.." the Klingon male snarled.

The advisor only grunted. "The parts and what we got from the freighters has allowed us to make a stand here, we have been fortifying this position..." came the response.

"I'm going to make a stand here and let my enemies come to me... My allies will come?"

"Two other houses. K'ish and Malak is already here... The third.. House Kalis will not come, they have denounced you and returned to being neutral."

"Wohavi's threat of attainder is clearly working." L'gran lamented. "I will enjoy seeing that bitch die slowly.." he paused. "K'ish only brings eleven ships to the battle and Malak brings sixteen ships.." he paused. "Very well."

Meanwhile in a Sword of Kahless class battleship that was holding station one sixteenth of a light year from the Abel System. General Makar tapped the display once. "Yes Wohavi?" he inquired.

"You will address me with respect.."

"I am." Makar responded coldly. "Considering your first action has been to lead the empire into a state of civil war that it far from decided." he responded. "I have finished drawing up your battle plan... and the four ships and their Captains will be supplied from your house, not from the defense force.."

"I will make you regret not committing ships and troops to this Makar."

"Indeed?." Makar was dismissive of her tone and arrogance. "You had best keep your mouth closed Wohavi... You don't need any new enemies fighting you so do not make threats you can't carry out..." Makar tapped the display a second time before he inserted the PADD. "I am sending you the plan now. Follow it if you like... It matters not to me.."

"You will not share this with my enemies?" Wohavi inquired, clearly not trusting of him.

"No." Makar responded evenly. "I will not deny you the battle to come, defeat or victory will be yours alone.." and with that, Makar hung up on her.

Wohavi turned to address the four Captains in the room. "Torlek, son of Rophva. Kim'pov, son of Kanlessi. Jaj'hek, son of Gloin and K'porak, daughter of Hali. Do you have any questions?"

"I have." Torlek responded, he had already been designated as senior military commander for the operation. "Will we have aid if needed?"

"Yes." Wohavi responded. "I am sending you four in to do something about that battle station, Everything you do should be towards that goal. everyone else is going to engage L'gran's fleet and pin them down... With fortune we will end this here before he gets away."

The four Klingon shared a look before they all nodded. "We will bring down the battlestation." Jaj'hek responded with a wide grin. "We will make them wail at the first sign of their own blood."

"Good... return to your ships and prepare for battle... you have two hours before I get underway with the main fleet... We will eliminate anyone you miss."

The four Klingons returned to their ships. Torlek returned to his bridge to find his first officer waiting for him. "Captain, we are ready to get underway... but we are being hailed by Captains Kim'poc. Jaj'hek and K'porak."

"Open channel and merge the various transmissions."

The argument was raging before Torlek could open his mouth. Kim'pov sighed. "You are an idiot."

"Why you!. I will kill you first."

"Enough." Torlek barked. "What is the meaning of this.."

"We are trying to work out a battle plan.." K'porak explained patiently as the other two men shouted back at each other. "Speak K'porak." Torlek spoke. "Jaj'hek... Kim'pov.. Shut it the two of you."

"That station's assault phasers will split us like gutted Targs, Wohavi is blind on both eyes if she thinks this plan will work.." Kim'pov growled.

"Ahh your wailing sickens me Kim'poc... I say we have the advantage of surprise.. We can approach via cloak and then use overloaded weapons... If we are swift and careful, we can batter down the stations shields.."

"That plan is just idiotic." Kim'pov growled. "I do not see how we can do it."

"Would you prefer that we simply ask then nicely to lower their shields?"

"Why not.?" K'porak responded. "We can capture ships in the system rather then destroy them.. then we move in... using our captured pawn to go in and dock with the battlestation, when they are within range they activate a self destruct sequence, it will knock out the shields, leaving us at full... What?!" the only Klingon female in the group finally got angry as Jaj'hek laughed at her.

"I didn't think the academy graduated Romulan students." Jaj'hek smiled. "When we finish... if you are alive. I will initiate a mating with you..."

"Assuming you live through this.." she responded. "and assuming I am intrested as you.. are not my type."

Jaj'hek growled as Torlek spoke up. "Thats enough... we will do this my way using K'porak's plan... now cloak your ships and lets proceed."
