Wohovi, daughter of Groct sighed softly as she regarded the data slate in her hands. "So... That fool B'Vat has the good graces to die like a fool." she muttered as she tossed it off to one of her flunkies. "What do I care of the Imbecile dies?"

"It creates a vacuum at the top, my lord." came the expected response.

"Again, why should I care?" she responded in a disdainful tone. "House Martok has fallen, House Germ'vak is unstable and House B'Vat is extinct." she smiled. "All in all its a good time to be me... I can sit back here and hack off chunks of the scraps of my leasure." she dismissed the concerns as if they were nothing which to her. At that moment in time they were.

The flunky withdrew as another Klingon approached. This one was a military officer. "General.. I had just heard.. Nobody is holding Kronos.. You could go there and stake your claim for the leadership... You have a large fleet supporting you and I and my men would pledge their loyalty to you."

"Really?" Wohovi responded. "I've not yet done anything... We've lost two Chancellors in two days and you want to risk all on the winds of war.."

"You are a General in the defense force with a fleet at your beck and call.. B'Vat was a fool and Ku'tor was deluded." the General responded with a smile. "We can be on Kronos in two days and secure it, your power base is stable and your troops are loyal. Whats more is that they are ready to fight."

"I see.." as she smiled. The General withdrew to allow her to consider it, she changed her mind a moment later. "General. Very well. Inform my fleet that I will be departing within two hours... our destination is Kronos.. and the leadership of the Empire." as she smiled, the General knew he had her right where he wanted her. He would serve as the power behind her throne.

She rose to her feet as she called her flagship. the IKS ghIvotheng which was little more then a refitted Emperor class cruiser. A century old design as when it was first built, the design was an intractable threat to any who faced it but now it was just an over-gunned light cruiser.

Today it would led Wohavi to her destiny. She stepped off of the transporter pad before she went out into the main hallway and made her way to the bridge, arriving there minutes later. "Status?" she demanded.

"The fleet is beginning its final preparations to leave the dock." reported a young Bekk.

"Excellent. Tell the Fleet to hurry it up.. I want to leave within the hour."

"Yes General." and with that he went to relay her demand to the rest of the fleet, the minutes ticked by a she grew ever more impatient, she rose to her feet as she withdrew into her office. "Contact me when we are ready to depart. I am not to be disturbed until then." as the doors slid closed behind her.

The HoD sat in the command chair as he went to work, ensuring the fleet was ready to depart and in ten minutes they were ready to go, he tapped the com panel on the side of the armrest, at his right fist. "Bridge to General Wohavi. Sir, the fleet is prepared to depart Songnam Anchorage."

"Excellent." came the response, a moment later the General emerged from her office. "Get us underway then." and with that the Hod turned as he began giving orders to everyone in sight.

"Seal the airlocks. Release docking clamps." suddenly a loud shudder was heard through the ship as he turned. "Helm, set a course for Kronos. Order all allied ships to do the same.." he commented with a smile.

"Maq'cha!" the General ordered as the battlegroup went to warp speed, towards Kronos, leaving Ogat and Songnam far behind them.
