Mission: Mission 51: Warchild
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 0930Hrs - November 23rd

Captain Bruce Fraser who was fifteenth Baron of the House Fraser of North Cape, sighed softly to himself while he placed the PADD he had been working on into the 'DONE' pile before he sat back with a deep sigh, he ran his fingers through his short hair as he looked up at the ceiling. "Ahh. Chen... why did it need to be you?" he asked aloud.

The walls and the ceiling deigned him unworthy of an answer before he sat forward again. "Aww shit." he sighed softly as he looked at the picture of the svelte Andorian in her uniform on her service file. "I wish we could have gotten to know each other better." he paused as the memory of their first meeting came back to him with her breaking into his quarters while he was taking a shower, she was very forward in her intentions and it ended up with the two in bed together.

He rose to his feet before he went over to the replicator. "Computer.... Whats Corporal Dulari's next of kin information?"

The computer beeped once before it displayed the contact information for Corporal Dulari. He came back to his chair before he started contacting the first on the list, which was her Zhavi. An Andorian named Nalla.

An older woman appeared on the screen before him moments later. "I am Nalla Dulari.. Can I help you?" she inquired polity. Fraser sighed softly as he was looking at the older version of Chen.

"I'm Captain Bruce Fraser. Its my sad duty to inform you of the death of your daughter Chen."

Nalla's eyes went wide as the shock hit her all at once. "Uhh... Umm... How did she die?"

"She died saving others." Fraser responded. "During an Embassy evacuation on Retep Three... Just know that your daughter saved lives with her efforts."

"You know... many of my clan had written her off.....as a failure... and a lost cause... but if what you say is true-" she stopped as Scorch narrowed his eyes as he growled softly. "She was my friend.." he growled with real anger in his voice. "I called you as a courtesy..." he responded before he could stop himself.

"I'm sorry..." Nalla responded. "I ... I didn't know she did well..."

"No reason you should... Chen never spoke of her kin.... But then I never asked." as a second Andorian came over. "Hello?" the second female inquired as she gently shooed Nalla away. "Whats going on?"

"You are Sherii?" Scorch inquired.

"I am.... Wait... whats going on with Chen?"

"She's dead... she died in the line of duty... saving others."

Sherii paused. "I see.." she responded quietly. "How did she die?"

"She was tending to a wounded marine when she was sniped.." Scorch responded quietly.

"Okay... Do you have her body?"

"I do. She is in my ships morgue. Along with the others who are deceased."

"That bad?" Sherii inquired.

"Worse. It'll come out in the news... You will hear vile things said about what happened.... know that Chen did her duty without hesitation or fear... I was honored to know her in the time that I did."

"I'm glad she succeeded in what she set for herself." Sherii smiled. "Thank you for your kind words Captain." she paused. "What is to be done with Chen's body?"

"I'm going to bring her home to the ice.... to the Wall of Heroes. She's earned it." Scorch almost demanded.

"You are an outsider!"

"Yes well... I'm going to share a little something with you Sherii about Chen..." Fraser regarded the older woman. "I'm sure you know that Andorian women are far more aggressive than Earth females. She made a..." Fraser paused as he smiled gently "an overture if you will to me.. I had a simple choice - charge her with assaulting a superior or... mate with her." he explained.

Sherii blinked, this story was unexpected. "I hope you made the right decision.?"

"I chose not to charge her with assault or anything else... " Fraser responded.

"I had no idea..."

"You would have been proud of the warrior she had become... She was something else..." Fraser responded. "I will fulfill her last wish... that I return her to the ice..."

"My kin and I will always remember your show of respect for my child." Sherii responded quietly. "I'm glad she knew such worthy beings as yourself."

"I should be on Andor in nine days. I will need to get permission from my skipper but I don't see it being an issue.."

"Thank you. I will come to greet you at the Lor'Vela spaceport myself."
Sherii explained.

"Thank you... I have to contact the other two of Chen's parents bondgroup."

"I will handle Merian.. He's the more argumentative of the two... you okay with Shori?"

"Yeah." he paused. "Fraser out." and with that he tapped the display once but as the screen went black, he sighed softly because he had not expected that to go so well or so poorly.

He had never told anyone about the story of him and Chen with their one night event with her coming onto him but he felt that someone other then he himself had a right to know as he proceeded to finish this unhappy business.
