Posted on Sun Mar 1st, 2020 @ 9:40pm by Commander Sokanon It'kla & Commander Cressa Stevens & Fleet Captain Torilla Yamaguchi

Mission: Mission 36: The Crusade Against the Infidels
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1300Hrs - July 3rd, 2391

Commander Torilla Yamaguchi exited the turbolift as she turned her head. "You should go and see Commander Hakaya Vakar... Now is a good time for that." she explained.

"Anything I should be apprised of?" Cressa asked as she followed Torilla.

"She has some very serious PTSD issues and she's also claustrophobic," Torilla explained. "Its... a long story."

"Captain Olmos did write several letters of recommendations with Starfleet Intelligence to clear me for some of the patients I might be seeing on this ship," Cressa acknowledged. "Given so little is known about the second officer's people, I'm guessing they are some of the patients I was cleared for?"

"Yes. The Kurokuri are an interesting group, I know little about them myself..." Torilla explained as she walked beside the smaller woman.

"I'm eager to learn about their culture and social structure," Cressa admitted excitedly. "Helping mend the mind is my first priority, of course. But I do love the anthropological studies too."

Torilla raised an eyebrow as she filed a mental note for further consideration. "Lovely."

"How far to Commander Vakar's quarters?" Cressa asked curiously.

"Two decks down. Deck Eight, section eleven, room four fifteen." Torilla recited from memory. "Still... I think you'll want to keep doing what you did to the Captain... it might help her come around."

"It only works on a relaxed mind," Cressa supplied sadly. "Though if she's normally willing for that sort of thing, it should not be a problem."

Torilla walked into the turbolift, the doors opened at her approach. "Deck Eight. Section eleven." she said as she smiled. "Hakaya is interesting... I'm not one to tell you much about her..." she admitted as the lift started moving.

Moments later the doors opened as Torilla stepped out. "Shall we?" she inquired before she moved off down the hallway towards their destination. When she reached their destination. Torilla tapped the door chime as she settled in to wait.

Silversnow, whom was at the door, meowed lousy, alerting Teval. He was busy cuddling with Hakaya, answered, "You can come in."

Torilla entered as she smiled down at Silversnow. "Hey Hakaya... I thought I'd introduce our new Counselor... she's managed to make Zara quit drinking through hypnosis."

Hakaya turned an ear, but otherwise didn't react. Instead she just snuggled closer to Teval.

"It's not a great feat," Cressa admitted humbly. "Captain Tane was already high on something. So she was already relaxed. Didn't take much to convince her that water was a better alternative to her negative habits."

Hakaya gave off a small sigh, then replied flatly, "Captain Tane is way too easily influenced."

"Joined Trills who do not settle in fully, often have problems with mental fortitude from things of that nature," Cressa explained. "I suspect when she fully integrates with her symbiont, she'll be stronger in that area."

Hakaya opened her eye's and looked at Cressa, "She argues a lot with the symbiont huh."

Teval looked up at the ceiling, "Yeah, both of us have had our own arguments with our A.I.'s every now and then."

"Is there anything I can do for you guys, aside from the alpha wave inducers?" Cressa asked with concern.

Hakaya didn't say anything, while Teval was about to say something when Karryn came in and interrupted, "Yeah, both of these two need some real professional help. They are too afraid to ask for it."

Neither Teval nor Hakaya attempted to Argue the point.

"My aim is help everyone recover from their traumas," Cressa spoke wholeheartedly. "Starfleet Intelligence HQ in Paris, even green lighted me to see the unredacted files and testimony to events that predate your Romulan captivity."

Teval's ears perked up, while Hakaya didn't give an immediate reaction, and Karryn went over to Hakaya, pulled her up, saying," Damn Hakaya, you do look rather pathetic."

Hakaya's AI, Nuo, then betrayed her. Contacting Karryn, he mentioned, 'She wants help, she just doesn't know how to ask.'

Karryn smiled and looked at Cressa, "Hakaya has just agree'd to let you help her."

Hykaya crossed her arms, with an annoyed look, muttered under her breath, "Traitor."

"All I ask is that you give me a chance," Cressa pleaded gently. "I promise no parlor tricks, and I can treat you any method you like. Be it group therapy or single."

Hakaya sighed in defeat, then said, "Alright, I'll do it." She then looked over at Teval saying, "But he is coming too."

Teval gave Hakaya a look, whom promptly gave him the death glare. He then nodded, putting his hands up, "OK. ok.. I'll go."

"When would you like to get started?" Cressa asked the both of them. "And do either of you have any information on your species' normal living habitat?"

Hakaya shrugged in uncertainty, Karry then put her arm around Hakaya and pulled her close, saying, "That means any time you are ready. Also I think I can help with the habitat part."

"That would be much appreciated," Cressa spoke thankfully. "Oh-eight-hundred tomorrow then. Holodeck three."

Torilla stood in silence as she observed the meeting and she smiled. 'Maybe... we can hope right?' she said to all three AI's in the room.

Both Hakaya and Teval's AI's responded, "We can only hope."

Karryn looked at Hakaya and Teval, noticing that both of them are very thin, she then tapped her combadge, saying, Karryn to sickbay, an you send two of your people to Teval and Hakaya's quarters, they do need a checkup."

Windspirit took the call, and answered," I'll be there in a minute." She then looked at Sokanon, saying, "Can you please come with."

Sokanon lifted her medkit as she followed Windspirit out the door and down the hall, the two walking in silence as Sokanon did not need to be told much in the way of details.

Sokanon arrived at her destination a few minutes later as she tapped the door chime. Windspirit beside her.

Karryn opened the door, saying," Yeah, Teval and Hakaya are both real thin, they do need a checkup, but they have issues with sickbay."

Windspirit walked into the room, and noticed both of them had heavily matted, messy fur, and just looked pathetic in general. Windspirit pulled out her tricorder and went to check Hakaya, whom didn't attempt to protest.

Sokanon produced a PADD as she began taking notes. "That's fine... I do house calls and such." the feline being almost purred.

Windspirit ran her tricorder over Hakaya, then mentioned," Yeah, you are definitely underweight, your down to about 27.5 Kilo's. You don't really have any organ damage though."

Sokanon had her tricorder out as she was giving Teval his own examination. "Mmmm... you are malnourished and you're about ten to fifteen pounds down from your normal weight." she paused. "you don't have any serious issues..."

Windspirit looked at the sad state that both of them where, then said to Karryn, You really need to get these two to put their weight back on, otherwise we may have to resort to more drastic measures."

Karryn sighed as she nodded.
