Mission: Mission 16: Hoist the Colours
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1000Hrs - December 12th, 2390

Teval and Hakaya, still tired from the previous night, walked up to the tower, and found Anastasiya snoozing in the chair. Their movements managed to wake her up, and she Said," Oh, hey guys how are you two cuties doing."

Teval sat down lazily in the chair and explained the events that happened with Gonad, Wukari and Rachael. Anastasiya was not terribly amused by the situation, and After Teval finished explaining what happened, Anastasiya simply said," Dumb bastard got what he deserved. I always figured that creep would do something stupid eventually, and with the way that asshole treated the deck crew and his pilots, I am not sad to see that asshole go."
Teval looked at Anastasiya and said," Oh yeah, you have been on the ship a while, and so has he."

Anastasiya simply nodded her head and Said," yeah I've gotten in a few fights with him, because he was just so abusive. It didn't help that the CAG before phoenix was also a useless piece of shit."

Teval nodded, while Hakaya decided that now was cuddle time and she cuddled up with Teval, whom didn't protest, and simply began rubbing her sister's neck. She started purring rather quickly.

Anastasiya then commented," So whats going to happen to Torilla."

Teval shrugged," I dot know."

No one said anything for a little while when a new arrival walked in. Teval and Hakaya turned their heads, to look at another two people around their height, and looking exactly like their species.

"um," Teval commented, utterly shocked, when the individual replied," Whats the matter, never seen another kurokuri before."

Teval shook his head," uh, no though that me, Hakaya, and Kurso Teska where the only ones."

The long haired kurokuri, whom had a brown striped fur pattern replied," Nope, there are others as well. By the Way I'm Aerin ranval."

The other Kurokuri, one with a snow leopard fur patter then said," And I'm Karryn Azzerin."

Teval and Hakaya then both introduced themselves as well, and Aerin then said," So this is where you guys hang out, huh."

Teval nodded," Yep, this is our Tower." Teval then noticed Aerin's rank badge, a Lieutenant commander rank with an orange color. "So what are you hare for."

Aerin looked out the tower windows at the fighters on the flight deck," Me any my Team are here to test new weapons, using the Roanoke and its fighter as our guinea pigs."

Teval's ears perked up in curiosity," What kind of weapons."

Aerin then looked back at Teval, " New types of fighter and Anti fighter missiles, as well as the new heavy quantum torpedo weapon. We will also be adding transphasic based shielding to Roanoke."

Aerin produced a PADD and gave it to Teval and then explained, "One weapon type we are adding is the Standard Anti Fighter Quantum missile. Its longer than normal torpedo's by only a quarter of the Diameter, it is far faster and more maneuverable than any fighter in existence, and even though its warhead is an eighth the size of a Quantum torpedo, it will still one shot even the best fighters. It also performs evasive maneuvers so fighters cant shoot them down, and can chase down even the fastest fighters or incoming ordinance.

Teval gave a low whistle, now that's impressive. How many will a ship be able to take.

Aerin continued with his explanation. The plan is to install 12 cell vertical launching systems on the roanoke. The ship should be able to comfortably fit 8 of these launchers, but new ships like the Century class and her variants that are coming out, will fit up to 20 of these 12 cell modules. And ships will be provided with up to 5 additional reloads.

Teval looked up the specs for the noble type cruiser, which was a modified Century design, and listed them off, "20 standard quantum launchers, 6 10 shot forward heavy torpedo launchers and 6 aft, 3 Type 12 phaser arrays, 10 24 cell light standard launchers, and 6 combined point defense quantum missile/phaser turrets."

Aerin nodded proudly, "yep, that is the intended design, that we will be working on, providing that the standard quantums are successful."

Teval commented lightly," Now that is one hell of an unorganized ordinance dispenser."

Aerin then got to his main point," So, when can we organize the fighter wings to do some testing."

Teval nodded," Well, I'll have to have a chat with Boomer about it."

Teval then activated his combadge, saying "Teval to Boomer, Can you come to the tower."

The response was prompt. "Boomer here, on the way." as he rose to his feet, he grabbed his uniform jacket and out of his office he went, as he went looking for Teval, he found him and three others.

"Lo Teval... Whats up?" Boomer seemed cheerful to see the four of them. "Wait... four of you... I thought there were only the two of you in the Fleet.."

Aerin shook his head, Nope, there is actually a small colony of several thousand of us living on Vega colony at the moment."

Even Teval was surprised by that statement.

Boomer blinked. "Vega Colony.." he commented as he looked between the four of them. "So Teval... I guess you're isolation issues are over.."

Uh, yeah I guess so," Teval replied, still recovering from the shock.

Aerin the interrupted," Ah yes, there is a simulation that I want to put together for the fighter wings soon, you think you can help me with that."

Boomer raised an eyebrow. "What do you need?." he inquired. "I assume its going to be educational for all involved?."

Aerin handed the PADD showing the specs of the Noble type cruiser," Yeah basically the simulation involves the entire fighter group taking on this ship."

Boomer accepted the PADD that was offered to him. "Mmmm... Interesting design... an unrated Sovereign...." a sly grin appeared on his face. "I like it.. when do you want this done?" he inquired with a smile. "In open space or dealing with space hazards?."

Aerin shrugged," this one will be a simulation, basically I am testing the software for the standard quantum missile, making sure that there are no bugs in the targeting software, caused by pilots doing something erratic or crazy, because so far all the missile has been tested against is target drones."

"Alright. sounds straightforward... When did you want this done by?" Boomer inquired.

Aerin thoughtfully said," Well, I'll have the simulation set up by tomorrow, Think you can get the wings together by then."

"Consider it done." Boomer replied. "What time tomorrow... I do need to sort out my First Wing, Number Three Squadron.."

Aerin shrugged, "We will be ready at around noon."

"We'll be ready by then." Boomer replied. "Anything else?"

Aerin shook his head," no, nothing more for now."
