A Song of Frost and Fire - Past Four

Mission: Mission 57: The Northern Lights
Location: Kwil'inor - Vulcan, 40 ERIDANI
Timeline: 2300Hrs - January 9th, 2392

Lieutenant Tienn Iteela gasped as she blinked open her eyes, she found her face clammy and wet as her lips quivered with repressed emotion. "What.?" she asked softy, her voice breaking as if she was a small child and not an adult.

"Emotional Transference is an unavoidable side-effect of the meld. I apologize Iteela." as T'Ree gently placed her hands on the smaller womans shoulders before gently drawing her into a gentle hug. "You should feel more whole now.."

"I feel... almost like myself... I remember..." Tienn's voice cracked softly. "I remember... everything..."

"One more session like that last one we just concluded will fully restore you." T'Ree explained. "However you're mind has taken a terrible trauma and it will need time to rest and heal... your subconscious will need time also to process what you've endured." the larger Vulcan paused. "But its gonna be okay... You will emerge from this stronger then ever.."

"I hope so..." Tienn gently disentangled herself from the other woman. "I'd...Wait.. What time is it?" she caught sight of the blackness outside, it felt like just moments ago the two women had started the meld and it was mid afternoon, now it looked like the middle of Vulcan's night.

T'Ree regarded the clock on the wall. "It about twenty three hundred, local time of course... That meld was almost nine hours long... but you needed it." she explained.

"I thank you for your efforts on my behalf. T'Ree. I am in your debt."

"There is no debt. I help others because I am able to do so." The Vulcan explained. "and because I find a certain joy in my work.. "

"Why don't you come back to Starfleet..?" Tienn inquired. "I know more then a few people who could greatly benefit from you and your skills."

"Due to what you have shared with me...." T'Ree paused. "I am greatly temped but... I must consider the merits of such alone... I apologize."

"Its alright." Tienn softly smiled before she yawned softly. "Sorry... I'm tired so I'd best go get some sleep."

"Of course." T'Ree responded before she rose to her feet. "I will cook breakfast in the morning. I try to make a selection of dishes."

"You cook?"

"I do, yes..."

"Okay." Tienn responded with a smile. "I'll have whatever you are having."

"As you wish." she paused. "You may use my computer station for your mail and correspondence."

"Thank you. I'm gonna check my mail and then I'm gonna turn in k?"

"Of course." T'Ree responded.

With that the two women parted company as Tienn remained in the study before she went over to the desk. She turned on the computer before she was able to access the Starfleet comnet, she input her name and pass code. She had six letters, all from Gyce, another one from the Commodore, one from Captain Yamaguchi and four from Saki Yamaguchi.

Tienn took her time as she read them all, savoring each one before responding to the ones that were new, she took her time doing so as she didn't want to get anything wrong. Mostly she said that she was on Vulcan and that she had made it safely and soundly and now she was undergoing therapy from a Vulcan healer who was also a Chef too.

When she was finished. Tienn turned off the system before she rose unsteadily to her feet before she made her way to the bathroom so she could take care of business.

When that was finished, she then went to her room, she then climbed into bed after changing into her sleep attire. She was asleep before her head hit the pillow as her memories and nightmares began battling for dominance. However Tienn was too deeply asleep to remember them.
